When it showed up for sale it was advertised as only having 1 key fob. So strange that key fobs are "mishandled" considering how expensive they are. Besides that, the car I acquired had a bad battery and the tires were significantly out of balance. I discovered the bad battery the 1st day I had the car at home and needed to jump start it. Took it to my local Chevy dealer who diagnosed a bad battery. Carvana needs to improve their inspections/reviews of the cars they sell. They could also do a much better job prepping the cars for delivery. The prep job on mine was not professional at all.

However, ALL of the employees here are super friendly and welcoming (may have been the Girl Scout Cookies I had on me to start friendly banter ha). They took my car for a drive, checked it out, signed it off, and bam...done within 15 minutes. No need for stress at all! They were all reassuring and told me that the only thing I needed was that third key I didn't even know I had (thank goodness for the junk drawer box I packed) or else it would be a $500 fee. This was seriously easier than looking for a vehicle. They also did not try to sell me any cars or pressure me in the slightest. These guys are professional and did not take advantage of lil ol' me like soooo many places I've gone to. I HIGHLY recommend returning your leased Subaru to this location.

They even scan your vehicle as you pull in and can read things like tire tread life. My advisor was personable and they arranged a shuttle home, so the experience started off strong. Unfortunately the communication quickly fell apart. I brought my new truck in Friday at 8:15am for several warranty concerns. Around 1pm I texted my advisor for a status update since he said he should have one around lunch. I also explained that if the truck needed to stay overnight I would need to arrange alternate transportation. He replied that the tech had the truck and he would confirm the status. Never once saying he was not going to be working the weekend. After that, I received no response despite multiple follow ups that afternoon. When I called Saturday morning I was told that because my advisor was not working that day, no one could provide an update because advisors do not share notes or account access. I was also told the truck was not being worked on since that team was off. Because of this I had to rush to get a rental car out of pocket. When I later asked about reimbursement, I was told it would not be covered because I did not rent a GMC vehicle. When I picked up the truck the problems continued. Tools were left in my vehicle, part of my console was still in the floorboard, and my charging ports were no longer working. I had to return again to have those fixed. I was also told a noise I reported was "just road noise." But I had noticed my truck was not even driven a mile to observe the issue. After continuing to hear it, I took the truck to another GMC service center. They quickly diagnosed the real issue. The rear differential bearings are failing and need to be replaced. Their technician told me that any mechanic who had actually driven the truck would have noticed the sound immediately. The scheduling and intake experience were great, but the lack of communication and the service follow through were extremely disappointing. I will gladly drive an additional 20 mins to my second dealership I went it.

We decided to go to a different mechanic that quoted us $1k less than Subaru, so do be aware that dealership mechanics can be pricier. However, I was never felt to be ashamed for saying no and I was given a pamphlet for payment plans in case I wanted to come back. I want to preface this review by stating that I am a former employee. I purchased the vehicle while…read moreemployed, so for obvious reasons, could not leave this review. I purchased a 2009 BMW 335i from RDU Auto a couple of months ago. Since then, lots of issue have been popping up on the vehicle. I have driven this vehicle less than 1000 miles. The first thing that I noticed after purchase is that one of the tires is damaged and needed a plug. Next, this vehicle has tint on it that would absolutely under no circumstances pass an NC state inspection. How did they get this vehicle to pass with the tint? Hmmmm....... Next up, the driver side rear window regulator broke the very first time I lowered it. A very basic inspection would have caught this issue, but I guess we don't do those....... And the big one. After about a month of driving, the car suddenly stopped making boost completely. I get a half-engine light when the car nears 3000rpm. This issue has been diagnosed as a wastegate issue which will cost me near a grand to fix. On top of this, I was accused multiple times of trading in a vehicle with major issues. If the vehicle would have had any issues, I would have just kept it myself and fixed it. They inspected and drove the vehicle before quoting me a trade-in value, which I agreed on. How were there suddenly issues after the car was traded in? Why did their inspection not catch whatever issues they thought my trade-in had? If you buy a car here, I highly recommend making sure you have a certified mechanic inspect the vehicle ahead of time. I was naive for thinking that the place that I worked at wouldn't sell me a lemon, but here I am with almost $2000 in estimates to fix preexisting issues.
