I have had a few encounters with employees at this location in the service and car buying departments. Both in person & by telephone. When calling I spoke to an employee in the service department about an oil change package that was provided when I purchased my vehicle. She was confused & seemed not completely knowledgeable about the process. After speaking to a manager at another location, I got further details to assist her with the process. She was unavailable at the time I called back so I requested that she call me back but she never did. At the actual oil change appointment I engaged with a different employee who was an advisor. She was pleasant and communicated well. My service was completed in a timely manner. During another visit for a recall on my vehicle, the service was taken care of in a reasonable time & the advisor was pleasant. A car salesman that I communicated with in the past was also helpful and kind. At this location you can make appointments online. "Purchased a 2026 Outlander SE from Westgate on 7/3/26. The sales experience was fine, but everything after delivery has been a mess. My financing was denied because a loan on my previous vehicle (unrelated to this purchase -- no trade-in was involved) was still showing open, despite gap insurance already covering it. When I brought this to the dealership, I was told to 'just call the bank' myself instead of getting any real help. I was then sent a vague text with a phone number for a 'welcome call' with no clear identification of who the actual lender even was. A full week after driving off the lot, I still don't have clarity on who holds my loan or where my first payment is supposed to go. If you're buying here, get everything about your financing confirmed in writing before you leave, because the follow-through after the sale has been extremely poor." read more

Bought my car 10 days ago. It died on the highway last night. The day after a snow storm I am left on the side of the highway in the dark, with no heat. Called the salesman (Angel) and was told I would get a call back. Never heard from him or the manager ( Sidney). Error code on the car P1326 known issue that should have been resolved before they sold me the car. Not even a phone call. Clearly do not care about people. read more

i test drove and loved an outlander the week of March 16 unfortunately could not come to a deal. Received a text March 25 stating release of new promotion and offered me again the car - i decided to go for it and texted back to Jordan as well as Sydney that I wanted the car and would pick up that night. I also called to verify text was received b/c neither Jordan or Sydney responded to my text. I was told Jordan was out running an errand and Sydney was helping a customer. I also asked for Manny who apparently had left for a bit. I said please let them know I was on my way for the Outlander. We cleaned out my current car and left (45 minute drive) on the way there we received a text from Jordan stating another sales person was in the process of selling the car. I asked why was I not notified and he said in order to have held the car they would have needed a deposit. I explained NO ONE called me to tell me someone else was interested and explained they needed a deposit to which i would have given. I was warned about this dealership and i should have listened. They are VERY unprofessional and if given a chance may would have given them 1/2 a star. read more

When we pulled up at the dealership 2 salespersons walked past us with no eye contact, greeting or even directing us to the proper person if they were busy. We walked to the receptionist Terri, who had an inviting smile and willingness to assist us. She introduced us to a salesman named Toshwa, who by the way is an energetic and willing professional who gave us his full attention, genuine honesty and made us feel comfortable. In the end we purchased a vehicle within our price range with an awesome finance manager Alexis who actually got us a lower interest rate than our bank and all our request were checked off and then some. We appreciate the effortless customer support experience and will definitely return. 72hrs later... Well we came back to get the items fixed on the car they were promised and it seems now Jeremy the service manager is saying and doing things to the vehicle then forgetting what he's saying. We were told the tires were great and needed to replace the rim, now the tires are too big! And he's placing a smaller one on one side. Where's the safety and logic in that? This experience is not turning out as we thought and we're feeling deceived. I'll be back with the end results. I think sometimes business forget the power of their word once we sign a contract. But never underestimate the voice of a customer AND blogger who just expects honesty and proper service. So at this point we spent everyday up there for almost 2 weeks with lies of the car being fixed and still overheating and shutting off. We have the manager Brian and Lori on recording with them knowingly and willingly saying they can't take the vehicle back because the finance company won't allow it. Saying the "forgot to fix the car after it arrived to them". The finance company said they could reverse the contract within 30 days of purchase , which we requested this fine right 48hrs but Brian won't approve it. They also involved DMV in a lie because we went there and exposed it. This dealerships managers and service manager Jeremy admitted to selling us a car that was never checked out after getting it in even though they were aware of problems with it. That's illegal, unsafe and devious! My daughter was almost hit on the highway when it shut off mid drive. After refusal to fix and take the car back washing the contract and reimburse what we've put in, they even had the nerve to offer an appraisal of $9k below the sales contract because like he said "she drove it off the lot". Yes we trusted it was in good working condition! All I can say in closing is it's definitely going to end up in our favor as we've returned the vehicle to the dealership lot and handling this legally. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO SELL ANYMORE LEMONS!!! They feel justified for lying and selling broke down vehicles because not only do they hide in the building when a customer is trying to resolve with them cordially, but they're hiding hazardous truths that can cause trusting customers lives. read more

This was my first time visiting this location for service on vehicle. Drove up this morning and a young lady came out and just stared at me. I said I'm here to get service on vehicle. I explained to her that I just started driving this vehicle which belonged to my daughter so I'm not sure what need to be done. The young lady left and went in back. I texted my daughter to see what services was needed on car. The young came back out and asked me again about the services. I asked her to look in the computer this is the only location that has serviced the vehicle. Appointment was a 8am still here at 915 for an oil change and tire rotation. Ok so I am purchasing a car from Westgate Mitsubishi in Raleigh. I have been in contact with Paul since the beginning, second week to be exact, about the jerking and bucking my car was doing. He said bring it up here. I did. He drove it and of course came back and said he didn't see anything wrong. Typical. I just failed to realize he was a typical LIAR!!! All of my calls were answered by the nice lady in the front office who knows I called well over 100 times trying to get my car straight. She would even say, Paul still hasn't told done anything for you yet. Weeks, and weeks that turned into months and it has now been over a year. Paul said run all of the gas out and try fuel injection cleaner. I did that. Nothing. The kicker of it all is that he straight up LIED to me by saying he was sending my Nissan Murano to the Nissan dealership the morning before i went on vacation June 2021. I trusted him to do that. I found out that they simply did an oil change....my car is still doing the same thing after a year. And he knew i was driving to Florida! Something should be done about him. He lies, gives you the run around, and NEVER is a MAN OF HIS WORD!!!! Worst type of liar. i would like a printout of all the things you claim to have done for my vehicle. He's the main source of all the problems as Westgate. Poor, poor, poor, poor management. Its sad i was the first good review and now I'm taking it BACK!!! Service department is absolutely terrible. I am making this review for my mom. She has a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT that is a good car and she loves it. It all started when the service department recommended to her that it needed a transmission flush around 50,000 miles. She got it done and that's when everything started going downhill. After that was done a couple weeks later it started slipping. She took it back to Mitsubishi and then they checked it out and did some transmission work to it ( I don't recall what they did) and supposedly that helped it. NO. It made the slipping 10 times worse. She then took it back again and they had it for a longer period of time just to tell her that they can't do anything to the transmission because it has completely failed yet. It's SLIPPING. Which implies that the transmission is failing. They told her she has to keep driving it till the transmission goes out and they told us they have a 10000 dollar transmission?? First all who in the world would put that much of a transmission in it and second that's not our problem. It's messed up and they won't honor the warranty. They probably told her to keep driving it because yes right now it's at 58, 000 miles and they are hoping it'll go out of warranty so it won't be covered. This dealership needs to just replace the transmission as it's not gonna break down but it's practically already broken because it's slipping. I would not recommend this service department because they do not want to honor warranty that COME with the car. read more
