We ordered from Raleigh Crab House a few days ago and were very impressed. I'd been craving a seafood boil for a year (thanks social media), but not a homemade one, as I've made them a few times. We went with the Cajun wings and a seafood boil with king crab legs, shrimp, boiled eggs, potatoes, and corn. You can choose between different marinades and spice levels. We went with garlic butter and mild spice. I really wanted to try the shrimp fried rice but it was no longer available, I assume due to being sold out. Next time! Upon delivery, the food arrived very hot and smelled delicious. They ensure it's packaged so a leak doesn't occur. The wings were super crispy, flavorful, and delicious. The boil was a huge portion, truly fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You never know what you're going to get when you order seafood for delivery, but we were thoroughly impressed! The seafood boil and wings could feed two people I'd say. I can't wait to order again and absolutely will be. I will say the only downside is the price, it was about $160 for the boil and wings, but for a special occasion, absolutely worth it. I was debating between four and five stars but it was SO delicious and fresh, that I had to go with five. read more

Started off with a lemon drop martini, be specific on the liquor if you are particularly, if not, you'll taste the house option strongly. Had the calamari as an appetizer, very chewy, I would not recommend. I really went for the crab broil. Mine had, crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage, everything was cooked well. I went with the Big Bang sauce, mild which includes Cajun, garlic and lemon pepper. It is salty. Overall, it was a solid broil for the price. Looking for a place with sweet, tender, flavorful, and tasty seafood? This is the place to go! Each seafood that we got was perfectly cooked, tender, flakey, and juicy. The seasoning was spot on with the spicy boil! It definitely not a first date kind of place lol but if you're okay with being messy with great food, this would be it. I was craving a yummy seafood boil so I visited on Friday afternoon at lunch. The fact the place was empty should've been my first clue. The guys at the cash register were friendly and took my order. I got the Combo B but with head- on shrimp. Second clue, the food came out so quick. Less than 10 minutes. To me, that means the food wasn't prepared fresh. The theme of this review could very well be "don't judge a book by its cover." This restaurant is located in a shopping center that isn't the most appealing to the eye, but the crabs are delicious. The interior is very modestly furnished and the walls are adorned with customers' signatures and handwritten messages. Went here with a friend and both my daughter and I who absolutely love crabs enjoyed our orders - the 1 lb. of crab legs with medium Cajun/original seasoning. Very yummy. The spiciness was just right. Customer service was great too. My friend also enjoyed her 1/2 lb crab legs, mussels and shrimp with mild Cajun seasoning. We will definitely be dining there again. If the location and interior were a bit nicer, this crab lover and former Marylander would give this restaurant a perfect score. read more

Inside is cool and funky. They have writings on the wall from different people it's really cool. The food itself it's pretty ordinary nothing crazy or too good. The calamari is pretty rubbery, their crème brûlée dessert isn't what you think, the hush puppies have corn in them and the prices are pretty steep. Came here to celebrate Mother's Day and it was soo good! We ordered 3 boil bags. Mine had the lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp, potato and corn. I demolished it. The service was good! The location is inside of a shopping center and the inside is spacious and well taken care of. When we first got there at 6:00 it was only two other tables. But the time we left the place was packed. The full bar is new, and you can tell they are still figuring things out. We told them the drinks were very weak so we paid for extra shots in all of them. The food came out fairly quick and was very tasty. The seasonings were great. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they were well understaffed. There were only two servers. I ordered the Big Bang snow crab legs and shrimp and asked for the food to be extra spicy (as per usual). Not sure how long this establishment has been servicing customers but upon arrival I noticed a lot of dust on the wood ledge. We had reservations but the restaurant wasn't full and this was about 830ish. After being seated we waiting 30mins or more for service. Now the waitress did say twice I'll be with you in a moment. We finally provided our order and the food came out rather quickly others than the fried food-that took a bit longer. The service wasn't great, the sauce just wasn't the best & price I suppose was average for this type of establishment. This place is amazing to me, I love the food and my service is always immaculate. I will say it can get spicy so if you can't handle it stay safe! I love the medium and sometimes get the hot too but I love spicy. My lips just burn a little sometime but I still love it.. All of the employees mainly the servers were just sitting around and completely ignored our table the whole time we were there. It was as if they were at home and not work. I asked for some salt after waiting 15 minutes for our server and the told me they didn't have any salt in the restaurant only pepper. I then asked our server for salt and he brought it later on. They didn't provide any of the proper utensils used to eat crab (like shell crackers) so we had a very hard time getting the crab out of the shells. She asked me for my last four digits of my number which I provided and the she asked me for email confirmation number and I showed her my Grubhub receipt and she still refused to give me my bag. I've been to a similar place in Savannah but first time eating in. Service was quick since we knew what we wanted. Both ordered shrimp and crab legs combo in the Big Bang sauce. I ordered mild and my friend ordered hot. She said hers tasted mild. Overall food was good but you have to keep dipping in sauce for flavor. The butter is that cheap butter oil so didn't use and hands stayed messy so rarely used the lemons. Serving size was enough for a cluster of crab legs to carry home and enough shrimp for lunch the next day. My leftovers were even better over rice! Place is a bit pricey -$39 for crab legs, shrimp, 2 potatoes, and small ear of corn but I did get two meals out of it. Will definitely come back. read more

I was not is impressed with this place as some others have been. I asked for malt vinegar and the brought me white vinegar, when I asked about it the server said"we don't have malt vinegar". How can you not have malt vinegar at a seafood restaurant. The menu is pretty small. I ordered the crab legs with a mild seasoning and corn and potatoes. These all come in a bag which makes for extremely messy eats. They give you gloves, a bib and a plastic fork. Not my cup of tea as I felt like I was on a picnic rather than a place that charges $24 for the meal. So when we first sat down and saw people eating out of plastic bags with paper plates that anyone could get from the store... we were taken aback and thought maybe we went to some sort of cheap-o restaurant. Then looking at the menu and seeing they have shrimp with heads and shrimp with no heads we thought maybe we went to the wrong seafood place. Holy crap we're we wrong. I ordered the snow crab legs, which were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. My husband got the shrimp with no heads and he got them with all the seasonings. My father in law got the shrimp with heads (not my thing at all) and a side order of sausage. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will say they won't let you sub out the side of corn and potato. I think it's because they cook it inside the bag with your food and it adds to the weight of the bag so they don't give you as much seafood as you'd like.
