This place is pretty sweet as you enter and feel the inner child/nerd come out. It's great place to bring the boys out to hang out, a place decent date night with your partner and for anybody in general. The employees were nice to introduce me to their specialty drinks and other items. I ended up getting the Appletini which had a somewhat sweet yet sour taste. Pretty good 7/10. I do recommend playing the weather simulator game since it has a bunch of options to play solo and coop. Then there's the box bird game that pins two players to collect as much points as you can. Pretty simple. I did enjoy this fighting game that doesn't require much knowledge. It has your simple lows and heavys and an auto combo. Pork was a great character to play with. Definitely recommend coming here

So it really pulls you into this sort of portal where you're fully locked in on games and then you look up and its been 3 hours, love it. Drinks are fine but they are a great price. Got the Waaaluigi which was really tasty and pretty unique! The wonder punch was a classic tropical rum drink and good but was a little watery. Absolutely LOVE the music here, both live and regular music through the speakers once the live shows are done. They also have a backyard outdoor courtyard that is perfect for a quick break to touch grass before going back in and screentimemaxxing again

Behind the door you will find a small bar ($4 for beers), a small lounge area with red couches and a piano, and a stage space. There is also access to the roof, with an industrial view of Bushwick and the Empire State Building in the distance. This performance space for theater, art, and music right by Bushwick Park, "is a full-scale not-for-profit performance venue and Presenting Organization dedicated to bringing a continuum of art and artists to the Bushwick community". VH and I came here for the Rockers Galore dance party last Saturday, and we had a lot of fun. It made me curious about their theater productions too. Keep an eye on this place.

There was a metal door with, "Bushwick Starr" written on the front, you go up a flight of stairs, and once on the landing, it looks like an apartment floor or a place for studios. Its easy to find once you've climbed a flight of stairs. Very interesting venue. Small, but cozy. Feels like someone's living room. There was free champagne before 12. Too sweet, but I aint complaining about anything free. Music was ok, but didn't get me in the mood to dance. Left around 1PM when the party was starting up...god we're so lame.

Immediately upon entering, one of the servers said it was standing room only by the door or by the stage. That was not a problem, but then she immediately proceeded to question our ability to provide patronage, asking if we had a card to validate us occupying the space. The vibe was off. After explaining to the owner/singer that we felt unwelcomed upon entering his establishment he said "right on" and it's busy on Saturdays. Long story short: music was a vibe, but customer service was severely lacking, and presumptuous.

The joint is packed and buzzing with a wall length bar, live music in the back. We're specifically here to see our dear friend, Frank LoCrasto and his way cool band XOTICA. They are fantastic and fabulous! LunÀtico was founded by musicians with an aim of combining sophisticated cocktails with a funky music scene, whilst encouraging patrons to support artists through donations. Here, one can enjoy a wide range of music, like jazz, rock, punk, house, calypso, reggae, folk, pop, indie, samba, etc. on a nightly basis. LunÀtico receives praise for its unique vibe, serving quality bespoke cocktails with some delicious tapas off the small menu. Please kindly observe my photos. + +Get your groove on! Wishing you all a fabulous Spring ahead weekend. Do enjoy sleeping-in an extra hour on Sunday. However, good luck on Monday morning. Thank you for reading!

The programming is thoughtful and deliberate: great DJs who actually play what the crowd wants, live acts, and events that draw people of all ages without feeling chaotic. Even on busy nights, the staff keeps things running smoothly, and the crowd is respectful and upbeat. It's a place where you can enjoy good music, good company, a feeling of community thinking that we're all in this together, and a sense of authenticity that's getting harder to find in the city. In conclusion, 5 stars for the crowd and the club that keeps it happy

I have a love/hate relationship with this place…read more I have had horrendous experiences here where an entire birthday group of 15 people left the line outside to go elsewhere because bouncers were on a weird power trip beefing with random people behind us in line. I have also had fun nights here with great music, dancing, and vibes. I'm officially old now and my thoughts on the place are tempered --that I'm glad it exists and it's an important space for the whole community. This has been a fairly reliable and solid place to dance which a good mix of genres, crowds, and vibes for years now. Used to frequent as I lived right over in Clinton Hill while in college. Oftentimes it has been the only place close by to dance in that kind of setting. The drinks are fine and bartenders typically chill. They did look at us like we were crazy one night when we asked for two long island iced teas haha... ...but also like actually why not? Maybe I want that chaos in my life. They said no, probably for the best. Bouncers outside have been hit or miss over the years but honestly you can say that about any place, they keep BS out so i can't blame them. I don't think the place should really ever have a cover including when it was at its busiest, but I think it may be necessary for overhead. The bathroom line can get long and people take their time in there doing what they'll do.. Can be a wildcard for what it will be like inside, but if you come with a fun group, problem solved. Overall the staff is "no BS" to put it simply, so as long and you're chill and respectful, you *shouldn't* have any problems.
