It was nice to have a great meal and hear the story of how this restaurant came from Miami to Houston. PINCHO was inspired by Otto's mother's famous kebabs (aka pinchos), because so many of his friends loved his mother's cooking. Their family took this family recipe and added a Latin twist...and a lot of sweat equity...and PINCHO was born. Since then we've been back a few times to enjoy their delicious burgers and bowls. Me and a friend split the Kebab Land mix that was recommended for 1 person, but it was the perfect amount of food for two people. The shish kebab skewer was super tender and had good flavor and the beef skewer was also tasty, but just a bit tough in my opinion. The chicken was moist and had a good charred flavor. The rice and grilled tomatoes were standard though the homemade bread was a bit thin and bland. Considering the bold flavors from the other elements of the food, the bread did complement it well. (6.5/10) Overall, the food is very comparable to other restaurants that serve this kind of cuisine. I think this place is definitely filling in a gap as there are not many other places in this area that serve this kind of food. If I were craving some kebabs and didn't want to drive too far I would definitely come back here. The owner was also super kind And the service was quick. Something else to note is that they only have bottled water that they charge for but the hot tea is free. The ambiance is super casual and parking is super easy because there are a ton of spots around as it is apart of a huge plaza.

The service was painfully slow, from waiting for the cashier to stop gossiping and turn around to the excessive wait to receive my food. One of the napkin dispensers at the beverage area was completely empty. Almost every table was dirty, left uncleaned and sanitized food laying on the tables and seats. The floor appeared to not having been swept recently as there was trash and food there as well. My order was at least well prepared and delivered hot. Not bagged to go as I was dining in. This could be a nice location. The decor is fresh, modern and well laid out. If only it were clean. I'm noticing a trend with McDonald's which leaves me wondering why I should return. Giving the guest a positive experience seems to have gone by the wayside.

Somehow, this location failed spectacularly at both. The drive-thru was packed (red flag #1), and when we finally pulled up to order, the young man working the speaker had no idea what value meals even existed. Zero. None. He confidently told us the "double cheeseburger meal" was two cheeseburgers, which is what I wanted, so fine--we ordered it plain. My husband ordered a Big Mac meal and a chicken sandwich, both "all the way." Then chaos ensued. We pull up to the window and the employee reads back an order that had absolutely nothing to do with what we just said. Wrong items, wrong everything. He has to start over and re-ring the entire order. The receipt comes out and--surprise--everything is marked PLAIN, including items that literally do not come plain. We point this out and are told to let the next window know. Spoiler alert: telling the next window did absolutely nothing. We are handed the wrong food anyway. At this point, we park and go inside because I only received one burger instead of two. When I ask about it, I'm casually told, "Oh, it only comes with one." That directly contradicts what we were told when ordering--and even if that were true, why did no one know what they were selling? This wasn't a mistake. This was a complete operational failure from start to finish. No communication. No menu knowledge. No quality control. Just pure, unfiltered incompetence. If this McDonald's were any slower, more confused, or more disorganized, it would be standing still. Save yourself the frustration, the wasted time, and the wrong food. Go literally anywhere else--even a gas station would be an upgrade. I'll say this in closing, you have managed to do the impossible. You have made my McDonald's, loving husband hate McDonald's.

The parking lot is shared with the likes of Chili's, Cavender Boot City, and Planet Fitness. Pro tip: if you're coming the Stratford High School area, avoid the traffic on Dairy Ashford and take Tully. It will spit you out into the Whataburger parking lot right before you hit I-10. OK, so on a weekday before work I decided to stop by this Whataburger location. Instead of mobile ordering which is my usual MO, I decided to test ordering at the counter. There was no line to order (though about 10 people were waiting for their food), service was fine - not extra nice but nothing rubbed me the wrong way either. From order to getting my food (a honey butter chicken biscuit with hot black coffee), it was 7 minutes. Not bad considering it was pretty busy. I dined in so I could take a photo and write this review in peace. From my experience, the dine in area was very empty and the vast majority of customers were taking their food to-go or using the drive through. The restaurant was decently clean though there were some random used napkins lying around. As a good citizen, I cleaned it up. The food itself - heavenly! The honey butter chicken biscuit was super fresh and delicious. The black coffee wasn't too bad either. Enjoy!

The staff really stood out friendly, attentive, and even helped carry my order to my car, which I appreciated. Several have opened up in Houston recently and this spot was started about 8 months ago. Not know anything about the brand, I was surprised to realize that it doesn't have an interior dining room. Instead Smalls is a to go eatery only dispensing food either thru a drive thru or walk up window. They do have a small covered outside eating area with a few picnic tables on fake grass. I ordered the meal of 2 sliders, waffle fries and a soft drink for $9.79. I ordered at a walk up window and the food was ready in less than 5 minutes and served in a bag. I thought both sliders were good tasting. Juicy and flavorful. The waffle fries were seasoned and good tasting too. Unfortunately they only serve ketchup in packets so you need a dozen or so to provide enough ketchup. This meal was good tasting and affordable. My main negative is that you'll usually have to eat your food in your car or take it home. Kind of like Checkers and Rally's. It's fast food so the food should be consistent but not warrant more than a 3 score. This is a good option for a burger and fries meal to go.

The spice was perfection and it didn't taste artificial. I was very happy with the amount of spice. The tenders were decent, but you can automatically tell they were fresh, flakey, and actual chicken. You can repurpose them to wraps or sandwiches if needed. (Wish they had a spicy option) Mac and cheese was great, and the pineapple quencher was so refreshing, sweet but not artificially syrup sweet. Really delicious. Not the biggest fried chicken person, but next time I have a craving for friend chicken I know where to go. Hopefully the Korean fried chicken is not sold out next time! I'd love to try it.

This was my first time trying this place. I went through the…read moredrive-thru. It didn't take too long. The person taking the order was nice and communicated any wait times clearly. From the outside the place looks clean and well maintained. FOOD: I ordered the 2-piece meal deal ($11 plus tax). It comes with 2 pieces of chicken, gravy, 1 side, 1 drink, and a pie. Chicken: The chicken tasted good, well-flavored and balanced. You could tell it was probably marinated, because even without the skin it still had flavor. I didn't expect the pieces to be so big! I initially wanted the original flavor, but I was told it would be an 8-minute wait, so I switched to spicy instead. The spicy chicken was actually spicy hahaha. I'd compare the heat to hot chips. If you take your time and eat one piece at a time, it's manageable. But if you rush and don't chew thoroughly, the spice builds and sneaks up on you. Proceed at your own risk! Of course, everyone's spice tolerance is different, so it might not be a big deal for some Fries: Not my cup of tea. They were flavorless, greasy, and too crunchy for my liking. I'd pick another side next time. They did give me a generous portion, and I was hungry, so I ate them, but I wouldn't order them again. Biscuit: Eh. The texture and look reminded me of a KFC biscuit, but it had a weird, artificial buttery taste, even a little sweet. I took two bites and left it alone. Pie: I do not eat pie, but I've included a picture just in case. Drink: I opted for the pineapple quencher. It wasn't bad. It tasted like slightly watered-down pineapple juice and artificial one thought. Just enough to wet your tongue.
