Nut allergy friendly! I've had several flavors of the chicken to go and it's always been fine. We generally order the Hot & Spicy Chicken and the Fried Crispy Chicken. Generally 4-7 pieces per person is sufficient, especially if there are sides. I really like the care they have in have a steam vent flap in the box. That helps prolong the crispiness of the chicken. Unfortunately, the Hot & Spicy does not travel too well. Even a 15 minute drive leaves it less crispy than desired, due to the amount of sauce involved. On the other hand, the Fried Crispy Chicken travels very well and maintains a nice crispy crunch even after 15-25 minutes of travel. A pretty solid option in the grocery food store!

FYI, the chicken takes 15 minutes to prepare so plan accordingly. Pretty delicious Korean fried chicken. I got the soy garlic and enjoyed it (okay, fine, I devoured it). I like the spiciness chart on their menu -- very helpful. Also shows which flavors are the driest. Friendly service.

OKkkk, so I was in H-mart for hours between Friday and Sunday and neither time was this place busy. My friend told me The ToreOne fried chicken place has gone down. How sad because I definitely (1) had heard of it (2) had that bad boy bookmarked in Yelp! for the longest. Sunday, I saw someone with a smoothie that looked good and I asked them what it was. I decided to order me one, taro smoothie with boba. I asked the cashier about it, he offered to let me taste the powder for an idea about how it would taste. Did a little tongue dip and decided it was just ok but I was like still, let me try something new. Ordered it and waited about 5-7 minutes for it. The smoothie piece was a bit icier than I like but I presume because it didn't any fruit in it. But where they lose HELLA stars is the boba. I am no connoisseur of boba but I've had enough in my big age to know what it taste like and most definitely, what it shouldn't taste like. That boba ruined the whole drink for me! It was so tough and the wrong kind of chewy! Bleh bleh bleh, I did think to take it back but I didn't bother.

KFC. Not the colonel, but Korean fried chicken was pretty good. We ordered two flavors. Balsamic scallion and original hot. Both flavors were on point. Crispy, crunchy, fried and with a lot of flavor in every bite. The food was ready in less than 10 mins. We made good choices with the flavors, although I would like to try out all the flavors some day.

Korean fried chicken was just another thing on my list I've been wanting to try lately. My girlfriend recommended this place so we decided to grab some to go and try it out! The location is inside the H-mart food court so the ambiance is just okay, but I don't take any points away for this. The food took a little while to come out, probably well over 25 minutes. The chicken itself as well as the sauce was okay but it was lacking some of the crispiness I would expect from freshly fried chicken. Lastly, the price seemed to be a little on the high side for Korean fried chicken, especially of this quality. I wouldn't mind having ToreOre if I'm shopping at H-mart and need a quick bite but if I'm being honest it probably wouldn't be my first choice.

This was one of the first Korean fried chicken places in land in Houston years ago before the KCF craze now in full swing. Located in H-mart food court, it's convenient for those who wish to grocery shop and take home a meal. After we ordered, we visited another place for an appetizer, and while fried chicken takes awhile to cook, ours was taking particularly long. I went to check back, and our chicken and fries had been boxed, and was sitting on the counter. Bummer. We were sitting a few feet away! I wish the employee would have waved at us or something to let us know our order was ready. Despite that, the chicken was tasty. The fried were meh... neither crispy nor seasoned. Would pass on those.

I always love getting KFC (Korean fried chicken)from them. They are located inside the super H-mart, and the hot and spicy, and original are my go to orders. The wait time to get your order varies between 20-30 minutes but it's worth it. The chicken is deliciously sauced and the skin is crisp and does not come off the whole chicken on the first bite so you can enjoy the crunch with each bite. The best part is that they put your go to order in a pizza box so that the chicken doesn't sit on top of each other and get soggy. They also provide pickled radish to accompany the chicken. The price is not ridiculous either. Very affordable. 7 pieces of mixed (big pieces) chicken costs $12.

One thing that really stood out, and I haven't seen many restaurants do this -- is that they offer you a small sample of the food before you order. That little touch made a huge difference! It helped me decide on the right heat level for my chicken and narrow down which sides I wanted. Such a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I ordered the H-Town wings with the hot honey sauce and a side of their homemade ranch -- and WOW. The wings were incredible, and that ranch? Delicious doesn't even cover it. I also ordered the leg and thigh Korean style, and while the flavor was amazing, it was a bit too saucy for my taste. I hate sending food back, but I knew I wasn't going to eat it -- so I did. And let me tell you, they handled it with such grace and kindness. No attitude, no awkwardness -- just genuine, outstanding customer service. That right there says everything about the kind of establishment Tumble 22 is. I couldn't even finish everything (portions are generous!), but the leftovers reheated perfectly in the air fryer the next day. I will absolutely be back -- especially for those H-Town wings. Go try them. You won't regret it!

I didn't know there was one in Memorial until my administrative assistant suggested it for her birthday with lunch. We were all glad she did because we actually loved it. We dined in on a Wednesday afternoon. The place is somewhat hidden down Gaylord Street behind A Moveable Feast where we ate at for another manager's birthday lunch. The GPS might throw you off a bit. The parking strip is pretty busy, but you can still find a couple spots. It was kind of empty when we came in just before noon. It did get busy after that. You line up and order at the registers, and they give you a number marker to deliver your meal to your table. There's partial booth and low table seating inside. There's fountain drink and tea at the far end of the dining area towards the single gender restrooms. I don't remember what I tried years ago, so I went with the one scoop and two sides. I had the traditional Classic Carol, loaded potato soup and grape salad. My admin asst raved about it, so I had to try. Plus, I needed some fruit in my life. The Classic Carol is plain with celery, mayo and their secret seasoning. I liked that the celery was not overpowering. In fact, I couldn't really see it. I thought it was ok paired with the wheat crackers. I shared some with my other coworker who ordered Olivia's Old South which has sweet pickles and hard boiled eggs. I think I liked that version better. I would like to try the Cranberry Kelli next time which has dried cranberries and slivered almonds. I've had all kinds of chicken salad. It's one of my faves at HEB and will order chicken salad sandwiches at different delis. I grew up with my family making chicken salad, as well. The loaded potato soup was great. It came topped with crispy bacon pieces and shredded cheese. The cup of soup was hot and had nice chunks of potato. The potatoes were soft and perfectly cooked. I ate about half the chicken salad scoop with crackers since the soup made me full. I tried the grape salad and saved the rest. It was delicious. It has a sweet cream cheese sauce over the grapes and is topped with a sprinkle of brown sugar and chopped pecans. My admin asst was right! I also liked their tea, which I mixed with sweet and unsweetened. Other items our group enjoyed was the pimento cheese sandwich, chicken melt and the small sugar cookies the meals came with. I gave mine away. This is definitely a great lunch place option. It's right off the I-10 freeway, so it's nearby a lot of work places including ours. I'm sure we'll be back here even though it is a little pricey. My meal was about $15-16. As a side note, I'm glad we didn't experience having large pieces of cartilage in our chicken salad as other reviews mentioned.

You can tell that they have their southern hospitality when they take care of their customers. The drinks are great as well! First, I noticed that the staff handling food behind the counter were not wearing gloves. Hygiene is important, especially when preparing and serving food, and it was concerning that no one appeared to be following proper food safety practices. At that time, the rotisserie was already being cleaned, which told me they had stopped preparing fresh chicken for the day. Instead, they were serving pre-cooked chicken kept in a warmer. As expected, this made the chicken dry and hard on the outside. I ordered the 1/2 dark meat chicken with yellow rice and Tequeños. However, I was given two small leg quarters and an extra piece of white meat--which I didn't ask for--all of which were extremely dry. The portion size has noticeably decreased as well. I was also very concerned to see them using spray cleaner near the food, which poses a risk of chemical contamination. On top of that, the Tequeños were extremely dark and tasted like they had been refried, nearly burnt. Adding to the poor experience, one of the girls behind the counter was playing around and massaging her coworkers while customers were being served. That level of unprofessional behavior is not something anyone wants to see while waiting for their food. I've always liked this place for its fresh rotisserie chicken, but it feels like DoDo's has started cutting corners on both food quality and cleanliness. Paying $19.52 for this meal just didn't feel worth it.
