I got the half chicken with 2 sides and it was only $17 which I thought was a great value for all the food you get. Man on man, that chicken was juicy, tender and so delicious. I got the side of their rice and chicken soup for extra protein. This time around they have a station with some sauces and I loved all of them. If you never had grits, this a good start, but there are many varieties, colors, and ways to prepare. In the low country you have to try them at several places to find you favorite. A little like Goldilocks and for many southerners a matter of personal taste. Finally, the people were consummate southern hospitality! The place is just awesome. The waffles are great too. They do an unusual one, a pumpkin I think, loaded with flavor, really savory. If I had to nitpick one thing, it's the coffee. It's good, but it's not gourmet. They can't do a cortado or any real specialty drink, no flavored lattes, nothing like that. So the coffee itself is maybe a four out of five. I've had nearly everything on the menu at Tiki Taco, and I've loved every bite of it. It's fantastic. The fresh lettuce and avocado makes the sandwich taste so good. They give you a big slice of chicken as well that is very flavorful. My daughter's favorite is the Hawaiian chicken Sandwich. She loves the pineapple in it. Their seasoned fries are a little oily and soggy sometimes, but it's very good. They are also very quick at getting orders ready, especially the drive through. We will definitely continue going there.
