Oddly enough, it worked fine with the furnace. Luckily, the professionalism is as incompetent as the labor, so Frank blew us off for the second time with no response. That's when we called someone else and both contractors agreed that there was a leak because he fried the valve while brazing the pipe. That's not pretty either but better than the kink left in the copper pipe, titled unit and ridiculous amount of tape used. The filter drier wasn't even in the correct location. Please, save yourself the headache and money for repairs and RUN. You will regret any work done, not one aspect of the job was done correctly.

Jose resolved a recurring issue with our furnace that stymied another HVAC company for several…read moreheating seasons. Our former service provider tried repeatedly to identify the cause of the error code that would prevent the furnace from starting. They were fully committed to its resolution at no cost to us. Their efforts would be initially successful but then the furnace would stop running again. This season began like previous ones, furnace ran normally for days until it stopped and then would not run reliably. This year, we had contracted our service with Hay's in hope that they might be able to resolve the problem. On the normal maintenance service call, Jose identified a probable cause of the problem and addressed it. For more than a month, the furnace has run reliably (thankfully) and, for the first time, I have a high degree of confidence that the cause was identified and addressed.
