I was debating on giving this place any stars at all, I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking this is a good place to visit. However, my server (I think her name was Vanessa?) was a very sweet and pleasant girl, so I gave some. A few weeks ago, we were a party of 8 for my son's birthday. Our reservation was for 530p, place was nearly empty. I had purchased a Groupon, which I'm not too familiar with bc I normally don't, but someone told me there was a good deal so I should. The manager on duty (very nice lady), gave me options for how to use my groupon. No problem there. However, by the end of our meal, the management had changed (shift change), and so did the attitude. The male manager at the end of the night is really what disappointed us. He acted like we were bothering him by using a groupon. I'm sorry, but isn't it put up to bring in customers? And then you deter them away because of it? There was a misprint in the groupon, so there wasn't any 'set' way to use it (it was explained we can use $20-$40 in the arcade, $10 in retail, and whatever is left will be taken off the bill..... And if we don't use any of the other options, the whole $90 amount can be taken off our bill). We didn't use the arcade or retail, so we just wanted it all put towards the bill. He seemed bothered by that, and said the earlier manager didn't inform us right, and there is a misprint on the groupon as well. Ok, that's not our fault. If I really wanted to get into it, technically I could argue the fact that the Groupon said as part of the family pack that we get $20 off of food and beverages per person for a party of 2 or more. So we should get more than $90 off for a party of 8, but I didn't. Instead, because it was my sons birthday and I didn't want to deal with a hassle, I told him we'll use the $10 retail, just to get it over with even though I knew we weren't going to because we were all waiting to leave. So I took a $10 hit, and a load of attitude, for something that is not my fault. He said he saw us using the arcade card, and I told him they had older ones from another time they were using up (check your facts and inventory buddy, we didn't use them). Earlier manager was nice towards us, checked on our table during meal (food was mediocre, rice wasn't fully cooked, but I didn't want to complain because it didn't seem like that big of a deal). Our server was on point, very sweet, and knew what she was doing. However, because of the horrendous attitude from the closing male manager, we will not be going back any time soon. Thanks for upsetting a party of 8, at my toddler's birthday dinner. That's a lot of mouths to spread the word. Never cracked a smile, asked how our experience was, or thanked us for coming. Heck, didn't even ask us to come back.... So don't worry, we won't! read more
