I came here with my brothers and two of our friends for a quick dinner. After waiting to be seated we got in and were shown to our table and told to scan the menus. After about twenty minutes they finally came with the waters and were able to take our orders. We were quick to order and only got a big appetizer sampler w ribs and a burger w fries. We waited about 35 more minutes before the food was even brought out. Now the appetizer sampler was a disaster the tenders were weak and dry, and the mozzarella sticks were below mid. My friends burger tasted "not like beef". The only redeeming factor was the ribs that were "ok" and so were the pickles. read more

The food was good. I got the philly cheesesteak with fries. It was delicious. I had a group of 6 with a 2 year old. Everyone enjoyed their food for the most part. No complaints from the actual meals. The service was pretty good too. Our server Chelsea was very nice and did a great job accommodating all of our needs. The reason for the three stars was because they had these big bay windows open because the weather was beautiful. However, that brought in bees. Tons of them. We had to keep swatting them and they kept getting on the food. It was the most stressful meal ever at rainforest cafe. One last thing, 2 year olds aren't crazy about the roaring tigers every 15 minutes. Just a pro tip. read more

It is with great regret that I have to write such a review for this place. My first experience with rainforest cafe was at Disney world in 2000 so the bar was set high. Since my oldest was turning 10 I thought it would be a cool place to celebrate his birthday at the Niagara Falls location. I'll start with the positive, the service we received from start to finish was awesome, our server was patient and attentive. The negative: the food was school cafeteria grade at best. Way too overpriced for the lack of flavor The positive: The portion size was decent enough to have leftovers the next day but that's if I felt like eating it again. They must've been short staffed. We waited for an hour for a table at 2pm in the afternoon. Open tables were everywhere . We almost just said forget it and went to TGI Fridays next door where there was no wait. Anyways, we waited. We were surprised how expensive it was. Nothing less than $15. Prices for sandwiches and dinners $15-30. The bacon cheeseburgers we got were $16 and come with a small handful of fries. Kids liked their kids meals. We also ordered a half chicken and small steak combo. It was good, came with 2 sides. We ordered nachos for an app (forgot to take pic!!) , they were awesome, we loved them. Very large serving with tons of toppings on them. No dessert ordered. 3 adult meals, 2 kid meals , and a few draft beers $120. Draft beer was icy cold in frozen glass. Overall, it was good. Portions not big, prices a bit too much for what you get. read more

"We liked it" We loved the animaltronics- and had a perfect view of the lions and elephants. Our server Brianna she was the best. We loved everything corn chips and spinach dip, and excellent quesdias with a pancake like texture. Wings are great and tender nothing caught in teeth. Ribs and shrimp great... and shrimp doesn't have to be with coconut either. We got full too no room for deserts.... It may be pricey but portions are not stingy.... They intentionally have scents to make it smell like grass- rain forest right. Good for kids of all ages. read more

Great experience when we took our son here for his 4th birthday. He was a little scared towards the robotic animals so the hostess Carol told us she would come back with a birthday present for him. Well she gave us gift cards to the arcade that is adjacent to the restaurant!! Then our waitress Cassidy was outstanding. Shes great at her job and did a great job singing happy birthday after dinner. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone with smaller kids! read more

Went here for dinner last night. We walked the wholeeee day so we were tired and hungry and ready to go to sleep after a "good" dinner. We got a table quickly but it took about 15 minutes for the waitress to come and take our drinks, we were ready to order so we ordered our meal right away and a appetizer. Drinks took another 15 minutes to come to us. After 20 minutes we asked her where was our appetizer she answered with "you want an appetizer?", mm yes we told you?. Well, everyones food came after 10 more minutes EXCEPT mine, she said it will come in a couple of minutes. My food arrived 20 minutes later when everyone was done with their meal IT WAS COLD and oh and our appetizer was still not in our table. We tried to be as patient as we could because we all work in a restaurant and I tried to understand that sometimes servers get overwhelmed but she was just not trying at all to make our time there feel comfortable at all. After I was done she came back with the "are u still thinking about those nachos????" Like really??? We didn't complain at all but I was not happy at all it was literally the worst service ever, not even a manager asked if everything was ok. We were there to have a good family time after a long day and it just got worse... read more

Ate here last night after a day around Niagara. It was our first time there and at 1st sight we were blown away. The rainforest theme was quite entertaining. We were told we would have a 30 minute wait which turned into 10 so we were excited. Once sat however we waited probably 15 minutes to be greeted and about the same to get our drinks. I had a caronarita and my gf had a strawberry banana smoothie, both were excellent. We had hot wings to start which weren't very hot but did have good flavor and excellent texture. I had a classic burger for dinner, medium rare. The burger was cooked to perfection but lacked any flavor or spices. My gf had a linguine dish with chicken shrimp and kielbasa. The cajun flavor in the sauce was good but the kielbasa overpowered most of the dish. I give this place a 5 for decor theme and friendliness but a 2 for speed and merely a 3 for the flavor of the food. read more

The Rainforest Cafe was okay. You go once y ou never need to see them again. The staff was friendly but the food was just average and extremely over priced. The Wi-Fi did not work. We waited 30 minutes for a table and there was tons of tables open. The place was not the best. The chicken in my chicken fajitas were over cooked and black. read more

Very expensive! Save yourself some cash and get a groupon or have the kids split their entree. Burger & fries $16.99- $5 domestic bottles. You've been warned! On a side note- despite the rather slow service, food was good. read more

My mashed potatoes were good, the fries were good... but the steak was cooked to rare when we ordered medium well. The manager, when confronted after a bad experience with the waitress, preceded to laugh at us. Angry and ashamed is what we felt. Only 2 stars are given due to (some) decent food at the table and the overall atmosphere. We may have had a uniquely bad experience, but according to other reviews I have seen, this may not be the case. read more

The newest location of the Rainforest Cafe needs help.... While the decor and atmosphere is what you expect, the service is questionable at best. After waiting 20 minutes for drinks (which our server explained was due to a mix up) we did receive our drinks (which were still incorrect). We waited again for the appetizers. To our surprise the entrees arrived but still no appetizer. Our server informed us that they would have to check on the status of our apps. In the middle of eating our entree the appetizers finally arrived. The server was nice enough to replace our dr now at this time but set the drinks on top of a bowl of beans, spilling them on the table. Cleaning them up and offering to replace would have been a nice gesture. Our sever actually looked surprised when I asked to speak to a manager. The manager did try to make things right by offering to cover dessert. We politely thanked him and ordered dessert.... 45 minutes later dessert first happy arrived (after our server came to the table and asked how dessert was - and we had not yet received it).... In time things may turn around but I'm not holding out much hope.... read more

It was hard to get a seat for dinner at this restaurant. We were here in July.first day we couldn't get in but the next day walked in and reserved a table for 4 and had to wait for 1.15 hrs. I understand that they may be short staffed be abuse of COVID. Food was delicious and our waiter was friendly. But food took forever to come. read more

Waited a long time to be seated. It was a Saturday so to be expected but it was too long.Service was good and staff was friendly. This place has tacky animatronics that little ones will enjoy. This place is a gimmick so don't expect a 5 Star meal. Everything is overpriced and the food is basic. If you can avoid I would but good if you have small children. read more

Was here with friends after a family reunion and time at the falls. It is a quick walk to the resturant and we saw a little golf cart driving around with an ad on the roof for Rainforest Cafe. We are members of Landry's Select so we got seated fast. Food was good overall. Service was a little slow. We had about 12 in our party and the waiter seemed to have missed on person in the party. We asked him if he got everyone to which he replied yes. Later we asked again while he had his book and yes this time he admitted that one was indeed missed. We placed that order and it came right away - in fact almost 10 minutes before the rest of the party. It was ok as he got a head start on eating, as he is the slowest eating child. Good drink service overall and all items were correct. The Fries we're way too salty.. no need for this much salt. Upon leaving it was raining and the little golf cart kindly took us back to the car. This alone upped my * rating for the resturant. Had the service been a little faster, fries more enjoyable and all people received their food at thw same time it would have been a 5* read more

My partner and i are visiting my parents and I decided to take him to tour the falls. We decided to eat at rainforest cafe. The food was "eh" overpriced, small portions, bland, and the server was basic, impersonal and sounded like she was reading from a script. The venue is family oriented, and cookie-cutter, overpriced and overrated. Oh and be prepared to pay an extra $$$ for a "venue marketing fee" automatically added to the bill. The restrooms were not well kept. read more

Went to Rainforest Cafe on 3rd St in Niagara falls, NY for lunch today with a friend. The atmosphere was nice with all the animals, and the indoor thunderstorms were cool too. The food and drinks were pricy though, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and it was 15.00, had a rainbow colata is was delicious. Are waitress was nice, but the lady seating us wasn't we got seated near the bar ,but we really wanted a booth by the animals, and there were several that were vacant. Overall it was nice to go to once but I don't think we'll go again. read more

I can't say enough about how bad the food was. Everything was very poor quality. Very over priced. My $17 salad was nothing like described on the menu. It was supposed to be spring mix and romaine. It was about 95% iceburg. Also came with a hair in it. The decor was ok. Not fun enough to make up for the bad food. The fact we all left still hungry and have to pay for another meal adds to the cost. read more

We stayed at the Sheraton attached to this. We were given coupons to entice us to eat here...sadly I now know why they have to give you coupons to eat there. The food was mediocre, at best. The prices are really high, for what you get, their beer selection was horrible. When we presented our "coupons"; which stated "buy one drink get one free", we were then told that the coupons have a $7 value but when my son ordered a non alcoholic drink at $9.99 our bill was $9.99 for first and $4.49 for his second? What?? When asked we recieved a half hearted answer and redirected. Our beers were $10.99 for the first and $6.49 for second...so much for "buy one get one" I guess....the only redeeming part was that our server was very nice and attentive (which honestly is why I gave it 2 stars otherwise would be 1). Our recommendation go somewhere else...anywhere for a decent meal. read more

Great place for kids. The inside is kind of small compared to others I've been to. The food was good had the coconut shrimp portions are large. My mom had a pasta with veggies looked really good. The nice part is there is an arcade attached so makes waiting go by faster. read more

Must have been understaffed. Lots of open tables still a 35 minute wait for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. I didn't expect amazing food but it was literally just average. Sub-Applebee's even. 1 sprite/ a burger plate/ a shrimp plate/ one kids meal and one desert. $70ish .....LOL. Thank god we had a groupon coupon cause the place is so over-priced. The kids meal was $6.99. It had 6 microwaved chicken nuggets and one sliced orange. That's it. Never got a refill on the sprite that i asked for. Food took approx 30 minutes to get. Don't care to ever see the place again. read more

Never having been to a Rainforest Cafe, I didn't know what I'd be getting into. It was rather entertaining, with animatronic animals all around. When the thunder storm sounded, all animals reacted. It ended up being very loud. Restaurant was very clean. We sat at a two seater table near the bar and the bar tender ended up also being our server. He was super nice. He came and apologized our food was taking longer than he felt was acceptable and his manager soon followed saying our server told him it was too long. Honestly, we started with salads and didn't notice the time. Food arrived hot and delicious. We ordered the Amazon Feast (rotisserie 1/2 chicken and 1/4 slab of ribs) and the Pastalaya (jambalaya but over linguine, which you could instead opt for rice which we did). Portions were generous and tasty. We brought a decent amount home. After dinner, a light conversation about birthdays in June suddenly had our bar tender tell us we had to stay. The entire wait staff came out for a birthday song and complimentary cupcake. Simple but fun and delicious. Wonderful time, plus used a $10 off coupon, which in essence allowed us to pad the tip another ten bucks. read more

It was so cute, and our server, tyrone, was so sweet. he did a great job and we all loved him!

Food is awful and over priced people nice chicken ceaser salad was warm and wet with a watery vinaigrette and cheesesteak was dry overacted

Terrible customer service, overpriced food, understaffed. This place is not worth the wait and the money. We were told it would be a 1hr to 1.5hr wait for a table. We were seated after waiting 2 hours. Once seated we didn't get any attention from the waitress and had to keep asking any staff we saw to get our order. After about 30 minutes, we finally got a waitress to take our order. We then had to wait another 30 to 45 minutes to get our food. We didn't order anything special - fish and chips, a few salads, kids meals. The food was average and overpriced. I will not go back and I recommend others avoid this terrible place. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The older blonde manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered. She has 0 customer service and was super dismissive. She should NOT have a job in any sort of customer service because her delivery is so poor it's honestly disgusting. Whoever is higher up than this woman should look into her because she is honestly the entire reason for this negative review. Horrible person especially to have in the FRONT OF HOUSE. I worked In customer service for over 15 years and when I tried to ask this blonde "manager" a question I sympathetically stated "I get it you're understaffed" to where she nastily replied "we're not understaffed" and continued to ignore us . If I were a part of rainforest cafe company I would be highly embarrassed to be associated with this woman. She is an absolute disgrace. read more

We had a wonderful time at the rainforest, yet again. We love visiting here at Niagara Falls, and when with the kids we always have lunch or dinner at the rainforest. Today was my oldest sons 6th birthday and as per his request we of course chose this to be THE place we all have dinner! Once we were shown to our table, it wasn't quit my preference of location (special occasion) and had asked to be moved, to be frank; we moved twice- with no issues at all, until we finally settled at a very cozy booth next to the lovely aquarium. As we enjoyed our delicious dinners (gluten free options were available) we also enjoyed a fun 'storm' which was every 15 mins! As the stars twinkled above our heads and would witness a mini meteor shower, The food was very well cooked and seasoned, (my side salad was slightly soggy but still fine) and we enjoyed our waitress who was bubbly and sweet. The souvenir cups were a great little 'take away ' once again, and my son was totally thrilled with his FREE birthday Sunday covered in candles (which we provided) a happy birthday song and they gave him a massive 'shout out' and so did the whole restaurant! This restaurant is well kept, in an amazing location! We stayed at the Sheraton, so we were thrilled to have this restaurant attached to it, along with the water park, arcades, casino, many other restaurants, and of course right at Clifton hill where it's the heart of the party! Great experience can't wait to be back and try their gluten free pasta! read more

Based inside of the Sheraton hotel. Smaller then Orlando and other landmark locations, but still enjoyable! Dined in on a Friday night and came to put name on the list at about 6:15. was told it was about an hour and a half wait, but ended up not being seated till 8:00-8:15.
