    Lumberjack plate with blueberry pancakes
    Perla R.

This place is the absolute best! Hands down the best pancakes I've had anywhere the are fluffy and soft and delicious! This time I tried the lumberjack plate with blueberry pancakes and it was amazing as usual and we also tried the French toast combo plate which was also very good! I always love breakfast here & I get to see all the fun vintage cars & motorcycles that roll through!

Stopped by this place on our way back from Escondido. Wilderness themed diner style restaurant. They serve traditional breakfast items along with lunch. We came on a Wednesday at around 10:30 am and had about a 30 minute wait. Service was friendly and fast but they seemed to be understaffed on waiters, so be patient. We ordered Denver omelette, some combo meal, and eggs Benedict. Portions are large and the food tasted good, but not refined. Their house made hot sauce is A+. Miles better than eating at an IHOP or Dennys. Good place for families and if you're looking for a big breakfast/brunch.

Ok folks if u r ever leaving or going to Pechanga casino head over to Fallbrook (worth the added 15 min to get there) and enjoy a delicious, ample serving of breakfast or lunch items. Rustic, down home environment. It's not their staff' first rodeo so they know how to get your order in and know what condiments will go with it. Most of the time you don't have to ask for a to go box.... they already know. Why 4 stars? Personal preference. Not everything served was 5 stars but close.

I don't know what to think of this place. The food was very good, but the service was terrible. I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but our food took over an hour to come when it was served to us. It had hollandaise sauce from someone else's order on the bottom of my plate, which got all over the table and my arm. The food was burnt. It was quite noisy either there, and they sat us in the sun. We asked to switch seats, which seemed to be very difficult for them. They were very rude about it. not thrilled with this place. I think they could definitely work on their Customer Service and being a little bit friendlier especially the guy in the front that was seating people.

We were in the area for a wedding and decided to stop by Rainbow Oaks Restaurant and we're so glad we did! The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe and serves classic American breakfast done really well. Even though it was our first visit, we both ended up ordering from the daily specials instead of the regular menu. We tried the Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict and the Meat Lovers Omelette. Both plates were massive and we ended up not finishing the one of the plates, but every bite was worth it. The Eggs Benedict, especially, stood out with its hollandaise sauce. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

Huge portions! Our plates were fresh and hot. This is a place where I'll try something different each time I go, everything looked good. We were seated by a very friendly young lady. Sarah was our waitress and she was excellent. The dining room was clean and large with tables and booths. You can also sit at the bar or in a booth in the bar area. I will definitely frequent Rainbow Oaks if in the area.

Lived in Winchester since 2021 and my carpool guy has been literally gate keeping this hidden gem located right before the Temecula weigh station. Finally tried it in September 2025 and we have been back multiple times. Please note the servings r HUGE! Plan to take home leftovers. Texas burger is chef's kiss. If you're going on a Saturday morning, get there early .

This restaurant was on our way to Big Bear and we were hungry for a good breakfast. So glad we stopped here!!! It was AMAZING food!! The staff was welcoming and friendly! The restaurant was packed, but we were seated right away. It was clean and orderly. I really wish I lived in California just to eat here everyday! If breakfast was good, I imagine the lunch and dinner are good too!!! Try the pancakes! They are made from scratch!

Wow! What a discovery! Our friends took us here for the first time and boy, what an experience! We had fresh brewed coffee which was delicious, then we shared their chicken fried steak, well done hash browns, and opted for their biscuit. They brought out an extra plate so we could share the meal. The portions were plentiful, the food was delicious, and our service was on point! I went over to the bar and ordered a non-alcoholic Heineken Zero, and it was brought to our table and conveniently added to our bill. We weren't too fond of the buttermilk biscuit, and will order an English Muffin if we ordered this same dish again. The dining area was really inviting! We were fortunate to hear the national anthem played at 12noon and everyone stood faced the flag and gave the appropriate respect to our flag. We can't wait to be in the area again so we can patronize this awesome eatery again!

Nice breakfast spot with a market and gas station on site. Staff are nice and the food was really good! Price is fair too! The atmosphere is very much like an all American restaurant.

This place was recommended to me by a local. And I was surprised how much I loved it! The restaurant itself is super clean and tidy, and it's quite inviting and homey. Our waiter was helpful and friendly, often walking by to refill our coffees. Ordered the breakfast special, and it was devoured completely lol! Be sure to check out the mini mart across the way, got myself some fresh coffee beans and a candle from there. Already looking forward to my next visit.

The minute you walked in, the ambiance just wasn't it. Perhaps because we were the only minorities there and everyone else wasn't (including the staff) but it was uncomfortable having people stare at us while we were eating and having our own conversations. Someone came to get our drink order and then it took a bit of time for our actual waiter Leila to come take our order. She did mention she was doing something else. we ordered the steak and frites and their pork chop which was the special of the day. I ordered my steak medium rare and the rest of the table ordered it in medium. When the steaks came out, the waiters seem confused as if they weren't sure which plates went where and when asked if that's a medium rare steak, they stated yes. That steak was medium and it was also dry and under seasoned. It was also tough and chewy. The fries were either undercooked or overcooked. Chimichurri sauce had no flavor to it. We did also order the cedar salad which was delicious. Their calamari and wings were as well. At the end of the night, Leila asked our friend how he liked his steak because it didn't seem like he ate anything. He said it was okay and she kept insisting you can be honest and kept pushing the matter. This was extremely uncomfortable because there was no need to make him feel like he was put on the spot. while I understand the need to want feedback, if your guest says it's okay and seem uncomfortable, maybe leave it at that. She then came over to me and asked about my steak and again saying, "you can be honest." Why wouldn't I be? I did tell her the steak was cooked incorrectly, that was not a medium steak and pointed out that it was dry. There was this awkward silence at the table because honestly there wasn't a need to keep pushing. Simply asking how was it would have suffice. They did end up comping my steak which was nice of them however the entire experience just wasn't pleasant. From the ambiance, to the crowd, to the food - wasn't worth it.

You snooze, you lose. (Funny note: I was told, in no uncertain terms, that they were out of chicken and that I would get extra pulled pork. When I got home, I found a large piece of chicken.) The best option is the Sampler plate. You get six different proteins, three sides, and three Hawaiian rolls. The proteins are chicken, hot link, tri-tip, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. I thought all of the proteins were very good but I especially loved the hot link. I could have eaten three of these alone. The sides are also very good. The mac and cheese and potato salad--both clearly house made--were excellent. The house made beans were ok but a little hard. I didn't love them. They have three BBQ sauces to choose from (spicy--marked with a giant "X" on the little cup, sweet, and regular. They are all delicious but you really don't need any of them. That is a sign of good BBQ. The sampler plate gives you a ton of food. At $56, it seems expensive but it is not. This plate easily feeds three people and you will probably have some leftovers. I drove 30 minutes one way for this, waited about 15 minutes, and drove another 30 minutes home. It was very much well worth it. Good BBQ is hard to find in SoCal but it exists, if you make the effort. And this is very good BBQ at reasonable prices.

My man spoiled me beyond measure, we got the Tomahawk, bone in family style, it only came with asparagus and mash for... $198. I really wanted the steak and I love a good bone in steak. In my opinion m, these sides do not match the overall esthetic of the restaurant. The sides should be way better! Although they were good we wouldn't spend the money again. We also got bread, it wasn't good, it was just too much of a different variety and they should give free bread and make you pay for that kind of bread basket. The wedge salad was amazing!!! I could have just ate that, no joke, it's so good. The Mac n cheese was definitely a great choice! It was so bomb! Get the mac n cheese I also loved my waitress and should have gotten her name! This place is great for their employees bc they're not overworked, well it seemed as if they were not and many people helped out with our table collectively! Five stars for that! That also creates a happier environment for employees. Overall I would come back here, especially bc it's located inside of Pechanga, the food is great, and the customer service is top tier. I just wouldn't get that tomahawk and wouldn't get so much but could have the Mac n cheese with a salad for dinner or just a steak. 10 out of 10! Oh and the waitress said you really don't need sides for the steak, they have lots of side/sauce options but they served the steak with a house made A1 and it's so damn goooood haha
