Well, after the worst painful experience at another salon I decided to update this review. Although their cs was not the greatest they did the job without hurting me and looked very nice. This place wasn't bad. I came within the hour they closed so the girl who did my nails kind of rushed, including me to pick a color but thats ok. They were super cheap ($10 for a mani), massages your hands and was easy to understand because she spoke english. There was a nice hot towel to dry your hands on, too, which I enjoyed. However, the polish wasnt perfect since she rushed and chipped much faster than other places. You get what you pay for I guess. I really like the nail salon in the mall across the street. read more

I walked into this salon because I thought there was one in the HIP...there isn't The ladies are all pleasant. No overwhelming chemical odor like some nail salons. This was my first mani in many many yrs & I didn't feel uncomfortable. I was asked about other services...waxing & pedi but I declined & wasn't pressured. I ended up with a no chip & am very happy with the results. I would give 5 stars but this was my first experience here & we will see what the second one will be.....if its as good as the first, I will go up to 5 stars! read more

I came here two years ago and I didn't really like how they treated me or did my nails, but I decided to come back and give it a try. At first it was fine, the one who took care of me was really nice, her name was Mimi and did everything I asked for. Second visit was fine as well. I had a pedicure and fill in. But I recently visited, they seemed to have ignored me. I walked in and they just looked at me not saying anything but when other people came in after me, they said "hi, how are you" and continued assisting them. They seemed busy at the moment so I was like oh maybe they were just too focused. I waited about 20 minutes and still nothing even though a couple of the nail technicians finished up and they just walked right past me not saying anything as if I were invisible. This is not my regular nail salon, but wanted to see maybe it can be my regular since it's closer to my house and they have been fine the two visits I had, but after my experience today there is NO way I'm coming back. I'd rather drive few more minutes to go to a different one, than come back here. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I highly DO NOT recommend this place. read more

I stopped in on a whim. There was a bit of a wait about 10 mins. I got a mani/pedi that was $40. Price was pretty cheap. It took a bit over an hour. The girl who did my nails was friendly. I would of given more stars, however my polish chipped the very next day when I was doing the morning dishes. I choose an OPI polish which usually lasts almost a week. I went today to get my nails done because it was time for me to get my nails done. Never in my life I had felt uncomfortable getting my nails done. I felt I was discriminated! The lady was doing my nails in a mean and aggressive way. She pulled my fingers every time she applied something my fingers hurt! Before she started applying the nail polish she told me to pay NOW! She said "PAY NOW BEFORE I FINISH YOUR NAILS!" The only reason I paid because she was close to almost done if she would have told me sooner to PAY I would have walked out and go somewhere else where I'm not being mistreated for a service that I am paying to be done! read more

Just brought in my mom for a pedicure for Mother's Day. The water was dirty not just her water either! The job was not done right! I was standing right next to the pedicure chairs and as a lady got up from finishing after a couple minutes another client got on without them cleaning it!!! I went here with my two sisters as they got manicures and pedicures and i have to say I was not pleased... the nail tech that assisted my youngest sister insisted on asking her if she had a color in mind as we were picking it out. Even after multiple attempts to ask her to give us a couple minutes to look over their choices she continued to ask if she was ready. She was very pushy and cold in the manicure process. The whole manicure was done in about 10 maybe less minutes. I know some people like this speedy service but for me it did not feel the areas that should have been addressed were in fact addressed. The only reason why they got 2 stars was because my other sister's nail tech was a bit more friendly. That is the only reason why. All in all we will not be returning to this location ever again. P.s. their no chip options are horrible. If you do absolutely have to go here ask for Linda, she is the friendly one. read more

This was the worst experience ever in my life, it seemed like the girl who did mani for me didn't even know what she was doing, i asked her to do small nails, i showed her the picture on my phone, what kind of nails i want, she put tips on my nails to make them better and then the worst thing happened, she started pilling them in such a way, that i felt pain, she didnt even cut nails in a right way, one nail was bigger , another was smaller, i thought like ok, maybe she's gonna make them look better later, and when she told me " that's it, you're all set, i looked at my nAils, and i was so disappointed. All nails were not the same form, they looked horrible, and i sat down again, showed her that its not even bad, its fucked up, she was looking at me like everything is ok, my nails look good , what else i want from her......after that another woman came to us, she started showing this girl how to make the nails i want, after that she( the first girl) started pilling my nails again , and repeated the same sentence all the time" look if u like it, i dont want u to change your mind again, i was like WTF , u are the person who knows what u're doing, and u dont even know how to make them look better??????!!!!! and at the end i just asked to take tips off, my nails were veerry bad, that was blood on my fingers.........the worst service i ever seen, will never go there again, maybe not all workers there don't know what they doing, but some people, like this girl should learn how to make nAils and after that start doing smth( when i went to another salon after that i didnt feel pAin , that was no blood on my fingers!!!!!'n , this is how it should be , when u go to do mani!!!!!!!! I am typically not a "nail " person, bc the whole process always intimidated me somewhat, however this place is AMAZING! Well i should say Genny is Amazing! No matter what your nails look like or what you need done Genny will make it happen, she is BEYOND AMAZING! not your typical unfriendly nail tech, I cannot say enough good things about her. I have issues with my foot and hand from an accident and have been toldd by at least 5 nail salons they cannot or will not attempt to work with me, but Genny gladly went above and beyond with a smile on her face! Not only that but my nails looked Amazing! and she will make sure you get the color you want, even if she has to mix one herself! It is very rare to meet someone with such a big heart! i have never ever written a yelp review but after meeting Genny i had to spread the word! overall great and clean salon but if you want a SUPER experience make sure you go when Genny is working you won't be dissapointed! read more

I've been going to Rainbow nails for years, though I usually see Rosie the other staff seems just as nice. I get pointed nails and a lot of places screw that up, I also vary my lengths and designs almost every time I go in but I consistently get what I wanted in terms of the final outcome. A couple of times I changed my mind about a color/idea and she didn't mind changing it, even though I kind of felt like a jerk asking. I usually call a couple of hours before I want to come in or make an appointment the day before. Sometimes you can end up waiting if you don't time things right, but calling ahead isn't that much of a burden. Every time I go out I usually get compliments on my nails. Wouldn't be possible without the shaping and skill Rosie has. It's hard for me to believe some of these negative reviews, I've been to every nail place in the relative area at one time or another and ultimately have come back because the prices are better especially considering doing something other than a square tip is questionable at best at other places. read more
