Female Jumping Spider

Bought a female jumping spider and she is the best. Purchased her in May. She was shipped to me and it has been a joy having my first jumping spider. Her name is Jumpers and I will be purchasing from here in the future!

Dead mealworms (they smelt so bad .)

I really hate having to write this review, but I've been a long time customer since 2023. I've always ordered meal worms for my beardie. All orders have always been the best and cost worthy when buying 1,000 or more count. The last two orders have been questionable! And completely disappointing and disgusting. One 1,000 count with bran did not have nearly around that amount. It was roughly a 300 count. The other order I just bought recently had dead mealworms! The weather hasn't been bad or hot enough for it to be in the state that it was sent in. Attached are the date and pictures of the worms.

We've been ordering mealworms from Rainbow for three years without issue, but we've had to request refunds from them THREE TIMES, just in the last three months alone. Most recently we ordered 10,000 mealworms which, due to hot weather in Arizona, were to be "held for pickup." We paid the extra $ and had them sent FedEx 2 Day. According to FedEx, Rainbow failed to mark "hold for pickup" so FedEx refused the shipment and had it sent back to Rainbow that Friday night. I left a message on Rainbow's voice mail with my phone number over the weekend asking someone call me. Nobody bothered. I had to reach out myself on Monday after not hearing from them at all. Every time you contact customer service, you will get a different person who doesn't know what you're talking about or what the last person told you. Frustrating, to say the least. You cannot speak to the owner -- "Candice Rincon" which sounds like they gave me a fake name -- apparently she has a phone phobia and won't speak to you. WIth customer service like this, I'm not surprised. . Of the four people I was passed to, eventually someone named "Patti" promised me that, 1. A new shipment would go out Tuesday morning first thing b/c they just missed the last shipment for Monday... and, 2. that they would refund my shipping and give it to me as store credit. When Tuesday rolled around, we never got a notice that the order shipped. I tried emailing customer service again with the same results. So, I called them. I was told not only were they not going to refund my shipping but they were going to use the store credit to pay for reshipping my worms. So we reordered. They promised they'd ship that day. They gave us duplicated tracking numbers, so there was all kinds of confusion, with FedEx saying we'd have to wait till MONDAY at the same time they were telling us they arrived at the pickup station. When the worms FINALLY arrived...they were a day late AND ALL DEAD. For the second time. Now here's the kicker; attempts to contact Rainbow failed. They put us on hold for 15 minutes, dropped the call and then blocked our numbers. On the one email we got from them it said very clearly next to my name in the subject line, "BLOCKED - IGNORE." I'm disputing the last two credit card charges since both shipments were DOA. They tried to sneak the shipping costs back on my card after saying they were refunding shipping. We're disputing that charge too. DO NOT ORDER FROM RAINBOW. They are incompetent, rude and sadly completely DISHONEST.

I come here to buy mice, Dubia, crickets and mealworms. They have it all. You can go on their website to see the selections of insects they carry. The mice and rats aren't listed so that's why I'm posting the cost of them in this photo.

Great customer service staff. Post Office delayed my order and Rainbow Mealworms notified me immediately. I found they have fantastic prices compared to where I shopped before. My scaly kids Thank You all.

I have noticed prices have gone up considerably over the years but what hasn't. I do appreciate their frequent feeder mouse/rat card and that they use double paper bags for the critters because they do like to chew free. They always have a great display of reptiles and birds I like to walk through, too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your reptile and bird needs.

When I first came here back in November I was a very satisfied, happy customer. The guys who helped…read moreme were friendly and patient. Most tanks were maintained and maybe one or two small ones needed attention. I spent lots of money on back to back visits. 7 months later went for more corys and unfortunately some changes have brought on this review. Peering into some of the very first tanks as I walked in, I'm noticing dead fish sprinkled about. I understand they could've had a busy rush, but they didn't look freshly deceased. Not a good look. Algae growth in some areas, yikes!.. and this is the first time seeing significant hair algae in a high tech display tank. Higher prices on basic plants than the competitors. They aren't rare, large or fancy and half are raggedy or already dying. Their anubias (cased) used to be BIG and impressive, but now small and they're charging the same price. Lady behind the counter helped me, but when she made a "portion" of guppy grass I discovered it was HALF the portion those guys have given me in the past. And I still got charged $8.99 for it! Not like they didn't have enough to sell- they definitely did, but even so I feel she should've pro-rated for just plucking out 5-6 sprigs. I also bought some (Venezuelan?) corys, albino corys and amano shrimp. The Venezs are super happy but now I see one has white on his back, hoping that's not fungus! And sadly two of the albinos didn't make it so far. They were tiny and delicate, so it might've just been a sensitive species (even though I acclimated them slowly over hours) but still that's money I'm out. The good part is they have a pretty wide freshwater fish and shrimp variety and most of the tanks are kept clean. Fish I've bought previously are still happy and thriving. They also have a large supply of dry goods, frozen food and supplies which is convenient. Parking is plentiful in the rear and access through the back of store is awesome. I still want to check out the new fish they get in. Don't know if I can trust in it sadly. *EDIT* The owner reached out to resolve the portion issue. I'm hoping they fix the rest so I have confidence with live purchases again.
