The chicken Hunan was ok. The crab ragoons were not the best and not fresh and the seafood hibachi didn't look good or smell good and the "lobster" was gross looking shell fish in the shell. I was hoping for great tempura, but it was just ok. I ordered the tempura combo, shrimp, chicken, and veggies. The tempura shrimp and chicken were pretty good, they were done with panko crumbs, but the veggies were made with regular batter, a bit chewy, the accompanying sauce didn't really have that Japanese tempura taste. This shit is crazy. I ordered this off grub hub very excited for what I might receive. Little did I know there was very little to be excited for. First off, it took over an hour to get here, and no it was not at all our delivery drivers fault, he was waiting in the parking lot forever. So not only did they let us sit at home and starve, they cheated this poor Grubhub delivery driver out of potential money. Anyways, once the food was finally received, I ate mine and only took a few bites because it was ass. My stomach started to hurt afterward. Looking for some really flavorful asian food? Well Rainbow King is where its at. We were looking for a bite to eat out of the realm of Thanksgiving food and this was a great choice. I ordered the kung pao shrimp with fried rice, while he ordered the sesame chicken and pineapple fried rice! Everything was yummy flavorful and fresh! Servers were attentive, brought warm hand towels to start...we had a variety of items: Godzilla roll..seaweed salad, vegetable gyoza, salmon roll, general tsao chicken and orange chicken...uniformly the food was tasty and beautifully presented. The orange and general tsaos were pretty spicy, but well cooked..not overdone. The spring roll was jam-packed with fresh, crunchy vegetables and the wrapper was light not greasy.... We dined here way before 7 months ago and I found hair in my fried rice while I already started mixing and eating it. I let the lady know and she said she couldn't find it and asked if I could point it out to her. Still feeling disgusted, I dug through it again to find it for her. They took it back and asked if I wanted another one. I lost my appetite after seeing hair while I was eating it. They took it off my bill and apologized. Carry out only - I'm giving 2 stars for only the Pad Thai w/chicken, not the fast friendly service. I've been a fan of Thai food for 20 years and Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes. I thought this Pad Thai was sub par. I wanted to like it but unfortunately I didn't. Not much flavor other than a spice used for heat, no peanut flavor as you normally have and I thought the quality of the chicken should have been better. Went for the first time tonight with my mother and we both were blown away with the food, service, and atmosphere in this restaurant! First off, the ambience was wonderful; the music, lighting, and decor were all really enjoyable, just what we needed to relax after a long day! Second, the service couldn't possibly have been better. Evan, our server, was extremely attentive and kind. He started the meal with bringing warm and damp towels to clean our hands, remained very attentive with refilling our beverages, and had excellent communication about if there would be a longer wait on a particular item or not. The sushi bar was packed with orders and it's no wonder why! The sushi and sashimi are fresh, high quality, and full of flavor! They use real wasabi (which is hard to come by) and offer some exciting, unique rolls. The food itself was equally impressive, surprising for a place with such an incredibly long menu as I'd imagine keeping up with this would be challenging! Very generous serving sizes and the pho had such a balanced flavor. The rice noodles were cooked absolutely perfect! The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the food and waitstaff. No other restaurant left me so impressed and satisfied. Truly a hidden gem in Bel Air, perfect place for a date! Also, I should mention, be prepared to save room for dessert or get a box of it to go. We met with some of our family members to celebrate the anniversary of my husband's uncle and aunt. This place was open on New Year's Eve, which was great. I'm a vegetarian, and I had no problem finding vegetarian options here. I do think it's odd that it's a combination of primarily Japanese food with Chinese and Thai food, but everyone enjoyed their food, so that point is moot. What I do wish they'd consider: Not serving eel sauce on vegetable rolls. Vegetarians/vegans look to these parts of the sushi menu to avoid fish; when you throw eel sauce on that, you eliminate that option for someone like me. There were rolls that sounded really good (like the tempura sweet potato roll) until I got to the eel sauce, and I was bummed. I hate asking for modifications on stuff, because at times, that request is ignored or forgotten, so I stuck to stuff I could eat. I also wish that asparagus wasn't in many of the vegetable options. Service was attentive, though the delivery of all of our entrees took a bit longer than we'd typically like. However, we recognize that we were a group of 10, so there's only so much the restaurant can do to get 10 entrees out at once. The food itself was pretty good. I know these aren't exactly what people think of when they get sushi, but I still like it: - Avocado roll and cucumber roll: What you see is what you get. Good ol' standby. - Summer roll: Quite tasty. I wouldn't normally think to pair cream cheese and mango, but it was surprisingly good. - Inari avocado roll: One of the few instances in which I wished the restaurant would define the Japanese term so that I didn't have to pull out my phone to look it up. Turns out "inari" is fried tofu. Right up my alley. Surprisingly sweet, but very good. My husband's cousin and his partner are also both vegetarians, and they seemed to find food that they enjoyed. My gluten-free father-in-law managed to make acceptable modifications to his meal (the salad dressing apparently has gluten in it, according to the server), and as far as I know, he suffered no ill effects. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices, too, at least to the extent that we weren't disappointed. Maybe it's not a "wow!" place, but it's certainly acceptable. What would help me is hotter wasabi. I progressively put more and more of it to get the nice scalp-tingling/nose-tickling feeling that I enjoy when I use wasabi. The space appeared to have adequate seating, and service was polite and attentive. Not amazing, not bad. It's a bit out of the way for those of us staying in Owings Mills, but it was a pretty good place to gather. read more

Great sushi but major service issues. 3x in a row we ordered on line and were given a time. Each they they backed up the time which is ok. Today they gave us a new time. I arrived at that time and was told to go wait in my car they would call me. 15 min went by and I went back in. My order was sitting below other orders. They said they called but they did not. The last time we ordered thru door dash only to find out they gave them the wrong address to deliver. We waited 2 hours before it was corrected and we got our order. Love the ambiance and the service at this place. The restaurant is very well lit and the music is mild but adds good vibes to the setting. The service is great. Our waiter was incredibly polite and very nice. And the food is incredible as well. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again. My husband ordered the pineapple fried rice, his staple favorite from any Asian restaurant, while I opted for the sushi. Both items came pretty quickly but I have to give them a 12/10 for presentation! The pineapple fried rice came in a real pineapple! And the sushi was also very well presented. Needless to say, both items were excellent. I got the vegetable tempura sushi and the mango-avocado sushi. The veg tempura was so good I contemplated getting more even though I was full. Definitely one of the top 5 sushi I've had, especially in the area. The pineapple fried rice was also very good. Thanks to the pineapple bowl, the rice was completely infused with the flavor, and my husband loved it. No doggy boxes for us! Got the yaki udon with chicken and a California roll . They have a blend of Japanese food and Chinese food. Based on the decor of the place, it should be only Japanese food but they have some Chinese food and the yaki udon doesn't taste like how Japanese yaki udon would taste it tasted like Chinese food. The California roll was fine though. And the service was okay, the waitress that took my drink order didn't understand English so it was hard get through to her that I wanted sweet tea.
