Albert and his crew did a remarkable job installing a huge drainage system in our backyard. It all started with a little visible mold in the house which uncovered some pretty severe mold settling under the house from lack of drainage and heavy rains. Albert came over to do an estimate and my husband and I knew we liked him immediately. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. We got another two estimates (because that's what you are supposed to do) and the other companies didn't come close to alberts expertise, assessment of the job, and reasonable price. We picked a day for him to start the job and he showed up ready with quite a few additional guys and the knocked the job out in a few days (French drains, another type of drain, sump pump, etc.). They even hit a few unpredicted roadblocks with the amount of rocks in our yard, a broken irrigation issue...and he repaired them, let me know, and never hiked up the bill. Albert explained all of the different gutter and rainwater harvesting options that were available to me and that we could take a phased approach starting with new gutters, I didn't feel pressured to do everything all at once although there is a discount by going that route. The guys worked through one of San Diego's biggest storms while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service. While the sump pump installation was helpful it did not resolve all of our existing drainage issues. The reviews said he is busy and may take a while to get a response, i texted and emailed him and was pleasantly surprised with a quick response. We consulted a few companies before hiring Albert because he was so knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. He is a problem solver and he went out of the way to figure out if there were any other sources of our hillside water (like driving up the hill in our neighborhood and figuring out if the water could be a leak in the area). He kept us in the loop at the end of each day of work or whenever there were roadblocks in the way. Also, if there were roadblocks, he would not charge more for extra time and there are no hidden fees as what you were quoted is what you pay. He was not rushed but was efficient and overall quick to respond. He even came back after the job because we (unluckily) had torrential rainfall a few days after and noticed some weak spots. It's not a perfect science and we knew it ahead of time but it was 110% better than before he came. I see why he has 5 stars. Highly recommended!! read more

Mr. Albert and his crew were here this week to help my husband and I with a significant drainage problem in our yard. We live on a hill and the water runoff into our yard after heavy rainstorms was overwhelming our drain system which is quite old but still functioning and our home was experiencing moisture problems. Mr. Albert came out to evaluate and noted that the angle of our yard moved water towards our home and the angle was not steep enough to move the water out of our yard at the speed needed to accommodate the rains. He advised a sump pump and french drains around our home to create a "dry moat" of protection of the house. The crew that came was friendly, professional, did great work and were clean and polite. The drains and the sump were installed in two days and they removed the dirt excavated and even moved the irrigation system a little further from our home at no extra cost. The workers worked so hard and were a pleasure to work with and Mr. Albert checked in throughout the day both with them and us and he did the electrical hookup.
