Owner Mark Kippel arrived on time for the on-site inspection. He pointed out that because we have a tile roof with tile overhang, we need a 6 inch K-style gutter instead of a 5 inch K-style gutter to prevent overflow during heavy downpours. He was the only one who produced a deck of color cards to make sure that the gutter and downspout colors matched our house. He was also the only one who handed me a firm bid in writing showing the exact measurements and cost break down. I was so impressed with his professionalism and thorough bid that I accepted his bid on the spot for an installation on October 15 and just declined two other bids. read more

Had nothing but great things to say about this company until they damaged my house and didn't fix it. The initial estimate was incorrect, and they had to add another downspout, no problem. The repair couldn't be completed the same day. I had to return to work the next day. I saw the damage to my house and messaged Mark. Additionally, I sent pictures of the broken stucko on my house caused by the workers when they removed the old downspout. He told me that if I provided the stucko patch, then his workers would fix it. Since I was at work the next day, the repair never happened. They took the check from my son and told him they had no knowledge of the broken stucko and left. By the way, they said this. However, they pulled the broken chunks off my house and threw it in the yard. Had they fixed what they damaged, this would have been a 5-star review. I can't recommend this company. read more

Initially Kris and his team seemed professional, however during the install I told them they could not walk on our tile roof. They did anyway and I had to pay an additional 6k to a roofer to repair. Kris also was unable to finish one of the downspouts until I finished a deck. He told me he would come back and install after deck was installed with a drain as part of the original cost. I called back and he would not honor his word and wants to charge me again. I should send him a bill for my roof but am waiting on a final response. I do not recommend these guys, be aware!!! read more

We wanted copper rain gutters. We had no idea of the prices. Mark came out and gave us estimates for copper, aluminum, and a mix. We ended up going with copper and one aluminum one on the back side of our garage (you can't see it). FYI the copper ones are almost exactly three times the price of the aluminum ones. While the aluminum one came out great the copper ones are showstoppers. One of my neighbors just put some in (I was underwhelmed). They are flimsy and have already turned dark brown and rusted? -within two weeks. (They DID NOT use So cal). I was a bit worried ours would look like these. I was soooo wrong. These gutters are heavy duty, with a half pipe design, and are substantial. The installation was beautiful and it rained a couple days later (they worked)! My wife decided she wanted to have them shiny copper (on our all black house) so I went up and cleaned them to a pristine copper and sealed them with two coats. It gave me a chance to really admire the craftsmanship in which they were formed and installed. Did I mention no seems. I love this company! I would say I will use them again but the gutters have a 25/50 year warranty so we are good, until my wife decides it's time to move, again! LOL. Thanks Mark! read more

SoCal Seamless did a great job installing new gutters on our freshly painted trim. We got bids from only very reputable gutter companies, and our SoCal Seamless estimator Mark Klippel was fantastic. We chose 5" K aluminum seamless gutters in the Terratone color with Low Gloss White colored downspouts. I had Sherwinn Williams Oceanside Blvd color match the Terratone gutter color sample, and we did the trim painting before hand because we wanted a very solid coat of paint on everything before the gutters went out. Regarding the color matching, Mark was exactly right that the gutter colors match the sample, because when the gutters went up they matched perfectly the color matched paint job. The guys installing were great and very careful and got downspouts, etc in exactly right locations and levels as I wanted. They even scrambled and added an additional downspout that I didn't originally request, but thought I wanted it as we were doing the walkthrough before they fabricated and installed. The job came out fantastic and our house looks beautiful and so elegant and complete with these wonderful seamless gutters from SoCal Seamless. SHORT VERSION: Mark is awesome. Seriously, don't waste your valuable time getting quotes; professional, reliable, good results, and well-priced. An added bonus is that he can handle a curve-ball with poise. I had a brain fart and screwed up his schedule and worse yet, did so at the last minute. I felt horrible, 100% my fault, but he was very (very) gracious about it. That's when you know the company is solid. LONG VERSION: Having had rentals for decades, I've hired a lot of construction people in my time and you do come to expect a mix of people, but I gotta say I found hiring a rain gutter company to be in a league of its own. I had 2 places that needed gutters. I mistakenly assumed it'd be simple to find a company. The first guy arrived to our multi-story property (a pretty dang tall ladder was going to have to be part of the equation) at 9AM on a Tuesday, absolutely reeking of alcohol. Like I was a good 2 feet away and could smell him still wearing the night before. Ummm, no. That guy I got from a referral on the Nextdoor app. So then I went to Yelp and called another company. That guy seemed okay enough and his price was only $100 more than the drunk guy, but he wouldn't reply to a simple text until like 4 days later, or not at all. I was annoyed. I had 2 jobs - wonder how he treats customers with only 1...! Then one guy who had previously told me he did not do seamless, contacted me to say he'd recently hired a seamless crew. When 'his crew' arrived they seemed okay enough but were not very familiar with their 'new boss' at all and they quoted me on the spot, charging like 60% more than the drunk guy. (I figured a sober guy was worth like 15% more okay, but not like 60%...!) Later when the guy "with the crew" called me, I told him his price was too high. So he said "yeah I thought so, let me send over another crew..." Seemed odd but whatever. So this new crew showed up and right away started hitting me up with a hard-sell saying they did roofing, drywall, paint and gave me a business card that had nothing to do with the rain gutter guy's company, and also the card said nothing about them doing rain gutters. Mixed in there were a few that either did not show up or else could not schedule a quote for several weeks out. Then through yelp, I got a hold of Mark from SoCal Seamless. By this time, trust me, I was willing to take 'kinda' sober (like maybe I could smell him only to 1 foot away...), and a price like maybe 30% more than the drunk guy, and hopefully only moderately cringy. When Mark arrived, he was not just sober, but clean cut, good looking, well spoken, attentive to the job, knowledgeable, obviously very professional... And he quoted me a price right in the sweet spot that I was looking for. I tried to act cool, hiding how relieved I was and I did not waste any time getting both jobs on his calendar right then and there. So he did my house first and I loved the half round bronze gutter option. I need to paint the eves to match still, but very happy with the look of the gutters. 1 down, 1 to go! read more
