From the initial estimate to the final walkthrough, the team is punctual, professional, and incredibly detail‑oriented. They explain options clearly, help you choose the right materials and colors, and customize everything on‑site for a seamless fit. The installation is fast, clean, and noticeably high‑quality--no mess left behind, and the gutters look like they were part of the home from day one. They were able to get me scheduled quickly and at a time that worked perfectly for me. They were the only company that actually left samples so I could see the colors and materials in person, which made the decision so much easier. Henia was fantastic throughout the whole process--she kept communication flowing, answered all my questions, and made everything feel seamless. Really great experience from start to finish. Pricing is fair and transparent, and communication is excellent throughout the process. Ethan personally checks the work at the end of the job, which shows how much pride the company takes in its craftsmanship. Highly recommended for anyone in San Diego looking for reliable, top‑tier gutter work.

I literally called every seamless rain gutter company in San Diego and the ones that would call me back (very few) were all booked out several months. There was one small issue with the placement of a downspout - one quick call to Gordon and he was back out in a few days to correct it! Whenever it rained, sizeable reservoirs of water would collect & sit in the raingutters. So I started looking for someone to come & realign them (and put in an additional downspout)... and found that most companies won't touch such jobs. I mean, I get it: fixing a mistake is time-consuming & harder than putting something in newly. BUT. I needed this done! THEN, I found B&D (sound of triumphant trumpets)!!! Mr.Silverthorn & crew showed up on time, spent a good amount of time to get the job done right, then rode off into the sunset. (That last bit is not poetic license - they were done around 4, so it really was around sunset.) Until we get some rain, I can't tell how well everything works, but so far, my interaction with this company is thumbs-up!

To start, Steve came to our home a few weeks ago and after reviewing our property, gave us a folder with a little biography, along with a quote and a color chart. Right away, everything felt extremely professional and homely. I could tell by the folder and the way he described his company that he is passionate about what he does. He also mentioned that his two sons handle the installations, which I thought was great since it was a family run business. Initially, we had actually agreed to go with another company until I realized the other company's license was suspended because both their worker's comp and insurance expired. When I checked The Gutter Connection's license, I saw that there had NEVER been a lapse in insurance or workers' comp, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. We scheduled an appointment, and Steve's sons arrived today. They were polite, well dressed, and professional. My husband and I were happy right away. During the job, they pointed out that one of the original plans for diverting water wouldn't work as expected. We agreed upon an alternative and it turned out beautifully. After the work was done, we walked around the house and were thrilled with how clean, seamless, and beautiful everything looked. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough. They're kind, professional, and truly talented. Having worked with other contractors before these guys know how to get a job done right. Highly, highly recommend!

After receiving several quotes, we hired Raneri & Long for a roof replacement. While I appreciate…read morethat they pulled permits promptly and handled the final re-inspection smoothly, the overall experience was frustrating due to poor communication regarding massive cost overruns and a serious safety hazard left behind. The initial estimate of $20,000 ballooned to $32,000 (~$31,000 after a ~$1,000 credit) on the final invoice sent via email. While they noted wood replacement, they could not provide comprehensive photo documentation to justify charging for extensive plywood, fascia, shiplap, and rafter board. For context, they billed for replacing 294 linear feet of fascia board, whereas subsequent measurements and estimates from two professional painting companies confirmed the home's total fascia is only around 250 linear feet. Communication and safety were major issues throughout. When I pointed out during the final walkthrough that nails were scattered all over the yard, the representative claimed he had already used a magnetic sweep. Just one month later, my tenant borrowed a magnet and collected a box of hazardous nails--including dangerous push-pin style nails left pointing upward. While they did pull the required permits before starting and fixed missing edge-tile nails promptly, the lack of transparency on unexpected wood replacement costs and leaving sharp, dangerous construction debris in a tenant's yard makes this a 1-star experience.
