I am extremely pleased with my experience with Rain Mizer and Theresa Darbonne. I asked for a quote on gutters through Yelp, and Theresa replied right away; in fact, se went to do the measurements the next day without me being at home. She even would reply to my emails after hours, and I appreciate that very much. The quote she gave me was extremely competitive, and even as busy as her schedule is, she was able to move up my appointment for the installation to a week before we had it scheduled in the beginning. On the day of the installation, I came back home from work and it was all done and clean; they matched the paint of my trim perfectly, and it actually looks like the gutters were there when I first bought the house. I could not recommend Rain Mizer enough, and especially Theresa Darbonne, who is the definition of a total professional, great customer service, and reliability. read more

I called for an estimate. I set up an appointment. No one showed. I called the office. No one answered. I got a call 30 minutes after my call. I was told they were so busy, not sure when I would be seen by their guy. Disappointed. Never got a call that they were running late. If this is way they run their company, not interested. read more

What can I say . Very professional did a great job . I will use him again if I need a job done

Everything was great! Theresa was great. The price was great and our new gutters look amazing! I would work with these guys again and again. I'm recommending them to my in-laws in Hockley for do their gutters. Bring on the rain! read more

After reaching out via Yelp, I was contacted quickly and the owner of the company reached out to me directly. He went by my house the same day to look at the issue and gave me an estimate that was much better than I received from competitors. The work was done promptly with no inconvenience to me whatsoever. Highly recommend! read more

It's hard to realize how important gutters can be to your home owning experience until you're a new homeowner and move into a house that didn't include them. I called Rain Mizer in mid-December and I had custom gutters on my house by the first week of January. The first rain with my new gutters showed me just how much I was missing them. No more rain on my head outside of my front and back doors, no more leaks under my garage door, no more divits in my yard. Theresa was extremely responsive during the whole process and the guys who came to install my gutters were very efficient and tidy. I recommend this company to anyone needing gutters installed in Houston. read more

Great response, great service and on time installation. Just had gutters installed for our house fromRain Mizer. Theresa contacted me straight away after requesting our quote, dropped by to draw up the quote the next day and managed to match the gutters to the existing colour. When I had a question about the colour match, samples were sent in the post the next day and she was spot on when we made the comparison. Installation was completed about a week later, the crew were great, arrived on time and competed the installation during the morning. Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to install guttering to their property. read more

I cannot say enough good things about working with Rain Mizer! They responded very quickly to my request for a quote, and given Theresa was relatively close to the neighborhood she came by the very same day I requested the quote. She was very easy to work with, friendly, genuine and professional. I had my quote that afternoon, and due to a delay on another job (not on their part, on the homeowner) they were able to schedule me 2 days later. I had a very bad situation due to a builder messing up and cutting corners, and not fixing what they messed up on. This is the first day since I moved in six months ago that I do not have a huge mud puddle in my backyard - even with the rain today. I highly recommend them for their service, quality and pricing! read more

Top notch gutter company. Extremely reasonable pricing and their management is very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend you get a quote!

They did an excellent job, and the gutters look like they have been there since day one. Look great and Theresa provided wonderful customer service! Thank you read more

I got estimates from three companies. The first was from a national clog-free style gutter company. They quoted me over $3,400 but brought the price down if I jumped through a list of hoops, i.e. call two references, agree to be a reference, leave their sign on my yard for a week, sign a contract immediately, etc. The reduced price was still over $2,400. I still don't like the price and don't appreciate the unnecessary hoops. They could not tie into my existing gutters since it was a completely different system. The second quote was from a big box retailer. They quoted me over $1,400. The price is better but also wouldn't tie into my existing gutters even though it was the same system. They also wanted to put additional downspouts right beside existing ones. Then comes Rain Mizer...I found them here on Yelp. I wrote them an message through their website and immediately received an automated response in the tune of, "We have way too much work right now and will not respond to your request." I called Rodney directly and a week later Theresa was able to come out for an estimate. The price was much lower than previous quotes. It was a straight forward, no additional charges, no hoops to jump through, and they can tie into my existing gutters. In addition, they upgraded my downspouts so they handle more water. The gutters are seamless and look like they've always been there. The only exception is that they are clean and brighter compared by my existing gutters. You can't really tell unless you look at the tie-in points. I highly recommend Rain Mizer and I've already referred a neighbor and a co-worker to them. read more

Working with Rain Mizer was easy! Theresa was very friendly and answered any questions I had. The gutters look great and I'm just waiting on a good rain to see how well they perform overall. read more

They did an excellent job installing gutters around our entire house. The gutters match our exterior trim perfectly. Their pricing was competitive and fair. Excellent warranty. Would use again read more

I did have a little difficulty trying to schedule and get a hold of a live person but in the end it all worked out. Also, when they removed the old gutters, they leave it for you to dispose of and the pieces are not small enough to put in your trash bin so that was a little bit of an inconvenience. I have to arrange to put it out on heavy trash pick up. Also some loose nails were found on my yard when they removed my old gutters. I'm just glad my dog didn't get a hold of it. I think they only have 2 main people who schedule appointments and respond to emails. Theresa was the person who came to my house and provided the quote and she was very detailed and did not pressure me into making an immediate decision. I decided on the gutters with screens for my 1840 Sq ft home and it's been a month now. They also offer warranty on the materials and maybe labor. I can't recall exactly. With my house being 26 yrs old, I had some wood rot that had to be replaced which we couldn't determine til old gutters were removed. Theresa was able to find a contractor to replace the wood rot immediately but the workers measured incorrectly and I had to pay a little more out of pocket due to that. read more

We had Rain Mizer install gutters around our garage to help alleviate a flooding issue. Theresa gave us an excellent estimate and the team installed the gutters a few days later. We are repeat customers so we knew what to expect. The crew did an excellent job! They were friendly, professional and fast. A few day later we had heavy rain and the gutters performed as expected. The flooding in the back and sides of our garage have now been greatly reduced. Thanks Rain Mizer!! read more

I had a great experience with Rain Mizer. David came out personally and discussed several options I was considering. He promptly gave me a straightforward and reasonable quote. When it came time to do the job, his crew was on-time and very professional, and I felt like they treated my house like it was their own. They took their time to do the job well and carefully, and they cleaned up everything as they went. I am very happy with the end result. read more

We added gutters to the back and side of our newly constructed home. From start to finish Rain Mizer made the process a pleasure, not a chore. Theresa is upfront, prompt, always answered all of my questions thoroughly and never left worried about anything. I received a few quotes before starting the job. Rain Mizer is the only company I felt I could trust which was very important to me. Most companies offer a 1 year warranty on their work, Rain Mizer stands behind their work for 15 years. I spoke with another company that offered a similar warranty, but I had to ask myself... how long would that company be around and what would my experience be like should I need them. I have no doubt Theresa will be just as easy to work with if that day ever comes. The work was completed within a week of agreeing to their quote. The install was done in a couple of hours, and it all looks great. I was lucky enough to have rain the next day to see how well the new gutters worked.... I was thrilled (its a long story, but my yard was being destroyed by rain pouring off my roof). I noticed a small issue, got in contact with Theresa and she had her guys right back out to fix my little issue. I have to say, I give 5's on Yelp when they are deserved and earned. If I could, I'd give Rain Mizer a 6. I've had to deal with many different contractor-type companies in the last year, and Rain Mizer is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend at least giving them a call if you are shopping for gutters. I'm glad I did. Cautionary side note: for those having any work done (be it gutters with RM or any other company) always do a perimeter check after the work is complete. I found a few screws and a couple of metal gutter trimmings that are extremely sharp. With a 1 year old that loves to explore and pick up everything... I wanted to make absolutely sure her yard was safe. read more

Great customer service! Lately I dread having to have anything done to the house or cars because of terrible service but the Rain Mizer group did not disappoint! I highly recommend them! Theresa was great at communicating and the guys showed up on time and finished very quickly! They also had the best prices! If you're looking to have gutters put on your home, they're the best! read more

We had rain mizer give us a quote on our home for new gutters. We had to get the house painted first and even after 4-5 months from the initial quote, their price remained the same. We made an appointment and they came on time. The results were amazing! The gutters look incredible. High quality, sturdy, and straight. The materials they use are very good quality, we were very impressed! Absolutely 110% professional. I would highly recommend their services. Professional, friendly, honest and great quality work and materials. Thank you rain mizer, I will definitely recommend your services to family and friends. read more

Rain Mizer is the epitome of a well run 21st century business.. In this day and age I come to expect seamless communication via e-mail, text message or phone calls when dealing with home repairs or improvements and Rain Mizer delivers on all accounts.. My process started with getting a quote and being around labor day weekend I thought best case scenario would be sometime the following week, but not with Rain Mizer.. Theresa went out of her way and came out ON LABOR DAY!! Talk about bending over backwards for a potential customer.. Theresa was super knowledgeable of not only the product, but of the installation process as well, which is a rare occurrence and quite impressive. Follow up was easily done over e-mail and Theresa bent over backwards again to squeeze my install in on Thursday, yeah only three days from the initial quote I was given on LABOR DAY!! The day of the install came and even with other contractors onsite working on other projects for me Rain Mizer didn't miss a beat and were finished in about 4 hours, just like Theresa said they would.. Even without being home for the install Rain Mizer kept me updated via voice mails and e-mails, amazing!! Payment was easily handled over the phone so the job could be finished just in case I wasn't able to be there. After the job was complete the gutters matched the previous ones so well, that my wife couldn't even tell if a side of the house even had any on at all.. It's rare that companies go this much out of their way for a customer and provide this level of quality and price.. Rain Mizer has gutters down to a fine science, they were able to offer a better price and warranty than my general contractor who was going to take much longer with the install.. I HIGHLY recommend Rain Mizer for ANY gutter needs, big or small you'll be hard pressed to find better service (in any industry for that matter), price and quality from anyone else.. A+ Oh one other thing of note, all of the installers are Rain Mizer employees and not just subcontractors which gave me a good peace of mind about the process.. read more

Oh man, So I read the other reviews for Rain Mizer and the bar was set pretty high for me prior to meeting Theresa. Let me say I was more than impressed with this company! Theresa met with me on Thursday night for a very small job, extremely professionaly, very polite, and explained everything in detail. She gave me the quote right then and there and they have already installed the gutters one day later! I don't know about most people but customer service is a premium to me! Hats off and then some to Rain Mizer for their professionalism, expertise, and tremendous customer service! Great company and I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thanks again Theresa and Rain Mizer! read more

I blindly did a Google search for gutters. Went to about 2 or 3 websites and liked what I read about Rain Mizer. Filled out the online form at 10pm and received a response early the next morning. Met Theresa at the new house and had a bid by noon. I had a few other bids to compare to and in reality, there is no comparison. Theresa and David (how many of you actually ever know or remember your contractors names?) are wonderful people to work with. They have a great product and their workmanship is 2nd to none. read more

So I ended up not getting the gutters done, because it just didn't make sense with the shape of the back of my house. Theresa came out for a free estimate and walked me through what she could do, but was honest that the end result probably would not be what I was hoping for. I really appreciate the knowledge and honesty. read more

Came and gave a very reasonable quote. He was prompt and thorough. Knows his stuff.

Theresa was prompt, professional, and prepared: when we met her the first time, she brought samples of their products and left us with brochures that described the various gutter guard options. She produced an estimate quickly--which included a diagram of the roof areas we discussed. The installers were quick and careful. They confirmed with us where we wanted a couple of downspouts to be placed before they installed them. The resulting work seems great. It is too soon to tell if the diamondback gutter guards do what they are supposed to do, but the gutters look terrific and appear to be properly sloped. read more

Theresa was prompt in replying to my initial quote request and coming out to survey my home, bu that's where it stops. I didn't have the same experience that other commenters did. Which is a shame because I was happy to possibly work with a company that appeared to value customer service. When she showed up my husband was on a last minute call and couldn't walk around the property with her but he was told that we'd get a quote that day. When I had time that same day, I called her to touchbase and give feedback on the specific spots we were looking to install. I was not impressed by the responses on the call or that putting a gutter over the trim in the middle of a large window was the only option. However it ended with a promise to have a quote by the end of the day. No quote. Three days later... no quote. It's been almost 2 weeks, still no quote. This entire time the other gutter company Jeff at No Mess Gutters & Roofing had been texting me updates regularly, giving me options on other maintenance we had casually gone over, and just generally was interested in my business. Obviously, we are not hiring Rain Mizer. 2 stars for the initial prompt reply. read more

David and his team provided superior work on my house this week, they didn't cut any corners by installing cheaper materials, consulted me on everything to consider and provided the best price. He and his team of installers are experts, and treated my house/property with complete respect, were clean and didn't damage any of our new paint. They are by far the best in Houston and will get referrals from me any day. Thank you David! read more

After posting the review on yelp yesterday, my husband received the phone call this afternoon from David and he came to our house fix the problem. Thank you David! Theresa, I just find your private email goes to my junk mail, and without replying anything back to you, David knows exactly who we are. Thanks again for his help! read more

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment Rain Mizer and David Rolen on his explanation of my gutter problems and his crew's attention to details in the installation. If I had gone with the other contractors my problem would have just been repeated as the main problem was never addressed. I have a Mechanical Engineering background and know the devil is in the details and know what I'm looking at. If your looking for an independent contractor that does excellent work I highly recommend Rain Mizer. you won't be disappointed. read more

Very happy with our new gutters. The installation process was quick and David gave us a great quote. It has really made a difference when it rains. My porch doesn't flood anymore when I walk out my front door! If anyone needs gutters I would 10/10 recommend RainMizer read more

Prompt reply, very courteous and polite! Came for estimate, and thoroughly explained everything, along with reasons why. Gave 2 levels of estimates (for 2 different sizes) that were very reasonable. Decided to go with them not only for the price, but also because communication was very professional. Very nice complete job, now to see how it does when it rains! read more

Rain Mizer - 6" gutters w/downspouts along back of house - Gutter Services Near Me - Houston, Texas

Excellent installation of quality gutters at a reasonable price. Highly recommend Rain Mizer.

David and his team made this project easy. He provided a free estimate and patiently walked me through his scope of work. He was always prompt and the installation was actually completed ahead of schedule. He was also competitive with his pricing and did not gold plate the project to drive up cost. I would definitely recommend Rain Mizer to family and friends. read more

I had a great experience with Rain Mizer. Theresa, the owner, was very prompt when she came out to give me an estimate. She walked the property, went back into her car and drew me out a map of our home and where she would recommend 5" gutters (most of our home) and where she would recommend a 6" gutter (one length of our home). She also stated where she would recommend our 3/4 downspouts to be, but then asked for my opinion and what would work best for our family. She had a wide variety of swatches for gutter colors on hand and she stated that they only use Senox products (apparently the best to use in the gutter world...the things you learn!). I took bids from 2 other companies and in the end, Rain Mizer, by FAR was the best bid we received and I really liked the vibe I got from Theresa, so we decided to move forward with her company. On the day of our install (just yesterday, actually), the crew was timely, they were cutting the gutters straight out of their van...so that they were the exact length needed for each portion of our house. It took them about 1.5 - 2 hours for the whole job (we have a fair amount of area that needed gutters...well, the whole, 2-story home, in fact...why homes in Houston, TX are required to have gutters put on them at their build date is beyond me)! Theresa followed up with me after the install to see how I felt about the look and how the crew did. We have been having quite a bit of updating done to our home recently and I have talked to a lot of contractors in the process. Theresa was very professional, knowledgeable and I would recommend her and her company to anyone looking for new or replacement gutters! read more

We recently had Rain Mizer install gutters on the back of our house and we could not be more satisfied. The gutters withstood the test of Hurricane Harvey with no spill over. Rain Mizer's customer service was excellent. Theresa was very personable during the estimate and appointment scheduling. She provided an estimate with a layout of my roof including the gutters and downspouts. The install took a little more than an hour start to finish. A little more expensive than a down-the-street handyman, but well worth it in my opinion. read more
