Felix is my "go to guy" for all repairs not just gutters. I have had his company paint the interior and do all the little repairs to make a house in Katy ready for the next tenant. He painted the exterior of another house in Humble. Any time I call him for a small job, even on an emergency basis, he is there. His prices are competitive and reasonable. For being an out of town landlord, it is good to have someone like Felix, who can be there when anything is needed, not just gutters. read more

Update: Felix contacted me and I told him about the leaks and he laughed in response - picture attached. Don't ever hire him or his team. I didn't call them back for a third time to fix their work because they just made things worse every time they came back. He did spend 5 minutes fixing a PVC drain the first time he came and thinks that that should make up for everything. Just horrible. I almost never post bad reviews but people need to know how bad ZZ Gutter is. read more

I sent a request through Yelp for gutter services on our three-story townhome. While I did receive a response via email the next day, the message was just requesting my address. About a week later, I finally received a telephone call from ZZ Gutter Company asking about our project. Updated review: the work was done. The rep came but didn't knock in the door so I didn't kno he came I thought he was a no show so I left not knowing that he had been there and gone. I found the invoice on my front porch and contacted Felix to let him kno I saw it and a check would go in the mail Monday (this was a Saturday). While I did not initially like what appeared to be a lack of communication and follow up, the end result is the work was done and it looks like it's done well from what I see (but I'm not a pro). For that reason I am updating the review from 1-Star to 3-stars. I would use them again because he is reasonably priced and maybe my experience was just an exception I'm sure it will be better next time. Not professional at all. They don't follow through with their emails meaning they sent a quote then I said ok let's do the work. Had to wait a week for another response that said what's my phone number but no one called. Another few days to a week, what's the address? Then another day I ask what day can u come? Another day I get Saturday. Another message I have to ask what time? Then I get 1030a. It's now Saturday 3/24 at 1038a no call, no text, no response to email. I have planned my whole day around getting this done. This company is not professional and they are inconsiderate of a customers time. I will find someone else to do the work. It is not my intention to pay for work and have to beg for and chase people down for responses and consideration. read more

This company is terrible! Felix came out to give us a quote and said he would call these other people to install a pipe into the drainage system behind our home, then come out and install the gutters. The people that he called showed up and did their part and then Felix never returned our calls or instant messages, nor did he show up to install the gutters. This was over 2 weeks ago and we still do not have gutters. That is fine though, I'm sure someone wants our money! read more

We had a couple of gutters installed, gutter screens installed, leaking gutters sealed, and rain chains installed. I thought it would take all day but Felix and his assistant completed the job in less than two hours and best of all, everything works perfectly. Was extremely impressed with Felix's communication and his ability to start the job not longer after I received the quote. He was also very good about getting the quote to me quickly. After talking with Felix's and my insurance agents, I feel the insurance messup was perhaps related to inexperience with a homeowner asking for a Certificate of Insurance to be sent before starting a job. Felix corrected the insurance certificate problem, with the correct paperwork to start the job emailed to me a few days before he arrived. The quote for Work Comp from his insurance agent was higher than he bid for this job, so I dropped that requirement. My own insurance agent advises me that many construction businesses in Tx don't carry comp because they are not required by law to do so. Felix and his worker arrived a week later, promptly at the agreed time (0900) and immediately set to work removing the current debris filled gutters. The job was completed by 2:30 pm, including cleaning up all construction debris and hauling off old gutter material. The final results are very good and the price was reasonable. The issue about insurance is one that Felix states he has not come across with residential construction before. I admit I am demanding, but I've worked in commercial construction settings (plant, trauma care) and have seen what happens when someone falls off a ladder/roof/pipe rack, etc.. I will have Felix's company continue to service my gutters, including cleaning, and removing and replacing them when I have the roof replaced later this year. I would recommend his work to others based on his dependability on showing up on time for a quote and the job, taking accurate measurements, presenting a readable bid sheet, no pressure presentation, personal work on the job including supervision of his worker, organization at the work site, and clean up after job complete. read more

THIS is the company to do your gutters and I am a perfectionist with details on my house. NO middleman or secretaries to pay for like most companies. Felix, the owner always answers the phone unlike other gutter companies and gave me a quote the same day I called him. His pricing is far lower than others and his work is flawless. I highly recommend ZZ gutter company because my own experience. Moved to a brand new house recently only find that the gutter from the builder only cover the front house. With the rain recently, the side and back of the house is a disaster. The flower bed is ruined. Called ZZ gutter, I am impressed with their efficiency. The guys are knowledgeable.
