I have a house that was built in 1941. This included what looked like the original gutter, which was not only terrible to look at, but was basically hanging on for dear life. So I decided to invest in new gutters, with a more modern look. I loved Yelp's reviews for Rain Gutter Pros and about Oz's level of service. I gave him a call, and wow was I impressed! Oz is one of those truly affable personalities that you want to work with over and over again. Within a day, he arrived at my house, firm handshake and smile, and proceeded to explain my options to me. We decided on a course of action (his quote for the job was very good) and with a day or two he started and finished the job while I was at work. He and his crew were very neat and didn't leave any debris on the ground. So this is where the real service comes in...The one miscommunication (which was probably due to my lack of knowledge about how rain gutters are put together) had to do with the painted finish. There are two parts to the gutter: the part that runs along the house horizontally and the downspout. Because I wanted a modern bronze anodized finish, I didn't understand that the downspout came in that color already and the horizontal piece would be painted to match it. When I came home, I realized that I wanted the downspout to be painted as well to match *exactly* (I'm Type A that way). Even though it *looked* like a match, it wasn't truly cohesive without the downspout being painted as well. I spoke to Oz about it, and while he's a busy guy and could have charged me for the return visit, he did not. He wanted me to be completed satisfied with the job, and for that he returned and painted the downspout free of charge. What can I say, Oz is the man! I really look forward to working with him again--without hesitation! So don't put off your rain gutters, and when you decide to focus on it, give Oz a call - well worth it!!! read more

Good morning, just to inform you. The guy that arrived at my estimate was very disrespectful, arrogant and obviously in his feelings! He arrived at my site and I was not there at that moment (Engineering inspection at another site time was extended). He did call and I informed him that I would be there shortly, but I informed him of what work estimate we wanted, in an effort to limit his time waiting for me to arrive. He's standing in the street on my arrival and the younger guy is still sitting in the truck. I say hello, and he just say's, "tell me exactly what you want so I can measure it". I the replied the fascia and eves all around the building and the metal siding in the middle of the 3 story building all the way around as we discussed on the phone. He then storms off to his truck telling me a 55 year old man to grow up and he has many jobs to do and does not need this one! Not a good look! read more

We desperately wanted / needed gutters on the front balcony of our home. However, due to the fact the balcony railing was front mounted to the stucco fascia, we needed to have custom made gutters. Not only did Oz need to come up w/a plan for mounting gutters, but we also needed a solution for an area that could not accommodate a downspout. Rain Chain above a potted plant! Oz figured it out... I had received 2 other bids before meeting with Oz Figenbaum. The other 2 companies basically told me there was nothing they could do. Oz was so easy to work with, and didn't say "no" like the other 2 companies. So easy to set up the day/time to do the work. Rizza in the office was great to work with and she was so helpful in suggesting the color for the gutters that would make it easiest for me to paint over. Installation crew showed up a few minutes early and I pointed out that I messed up, underestimating the length of gutter required. Absolutely Amazing and Brilliant Team!!! I own a 1913 Georgian Home which has been registered with Los Angeles as a Historical Monument. As such I'm required to ensure the home maintains all if not most of it's original items such as the rain gutters which are no longer in production. From the customer appreciation I received from Kim to the high level of knowledge and professionalism I received from Oz, I was very lucky to have them replace my damaged gutters. We called RGP in November for a quote. The office is run super-professionally with ultra courteous and responsive phone, email, and text replies. Quote was fast and easy, but I might encourage this part of the process a bit: They brought sheetmetal samples and color swatches, but I ended up switching colors to get a perfect match. Fortunately, actually it was RGP Installation Crew that showed up and produced the absolute perfect color match - and RGP Front Office were willing to work with us to expedite that change. I paid a reasonable reschedule fee of 10% but I believe RGP end up eating the product if special ordered. Best to get the perfect estimate and color samples done the first time through. I must say though, that I do not think any other vendor (from the ownership and front office to the actual installation crew, who had to come back) - NO other vendor would have accommodated this on our part. In the end we got the perfect color match on an awesome product installed expertly by a great crew. See photos for some detail ... The installation crew was incredible: Highly skilled to begin with; pretty unusual in todays LA Contractors and Work-Crews. The workmen were fairly highly skilled and did some incredible detail work on a very small old house with tons of angles and downspouts. They were on-time and extremely clean and quiet. They were careful on the roof and even cleaned up after themselves. I don't think we could have gotten a better work crew. Shout out to "Pablo" and his guys ;-) The entire process was very professional, and the work was expertly done. They were on-time, clean - and their quoted rate was competitive (I had 3-4 other estimates). As other reviews have mentioned: RAIN GUTTER PROS STANDS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE COMPETITION. But get the color and material matched right the first time. I was happy to pay the restock/reschedule fee but I think RGP ate that cost. Still it was nice they were even willing to restock/reschedule. The only improvement I could ask for: Estimation & Sales (and the reschedule) via Mario on the telephone could have gone a little bit smoother. Nonetheless, eventually it worked out - and it was mostly my fault. read more

Love these guys and we know something about contractors. We have remodeled our home inside and out, including pool, travertine deck, IPE wood deck, roof, cement driveways, painting, fencing, awnings, lights, landscaping, shutters, etc etc etc. just on the outside. Don't get me started on the inside. Oz of Rain Gutter Pros put gutters all around our old house perfectly from start to finish. Plus, we changed our minds at one point, and had to move an already completed downspout, and it was.....no problem, done. Careful examination -- we have learned to carefully examine everything contractors do -- so far finds it...well....flawless. Really nice looking, solid, suspiciously excellent. Contractors tend to do just do things and make choices without asking. We all wish they would continually lay out the choices and ask first. Oz was proactively communicative (!) and his decision making was excellent. Wish he did more than gutters. read more

Contacted Rain Gutter Pros for a small job recently. I reached out by phone first and spoke with the office manager. After explaining the job, she told me to take a few pictures of the area and email them in. I did so and within one day I had an official quote. I followed up to say the quote was acceptable and we set a date for the work. It was a couple weeks out, but I think they're pretty busy with everyone getting ready for the El Niño winter. On the date of service, two guys showed up right on time and they finished the work in no time at all. Love these guys. Real professional and on time. Cleaned our gutters and installed new top screens that won't let leaves or debris in, so no more hassles. We're ready for El Nino for sure. We let our gutters alone for to long, and a good deal of debris built up, water over flowed on those occasions when it did rain and we were concerned about it. Now I won't worry. We even had rain barrels in place when they came out and they designed the downspouts to go right into them for future water savings. With El Nino coming, Oz and his crew are booked well into the future but they worked us in sooner when an opening came up. I've even got them heading out to my Mom's house for some work she needs done. They are the best! read more

Our house had recently been painted in the front and the wood was cleaned by a Sandblasting company, after that we had no more gutters around the front, because the old ones were leaking and rotten... We had an appointment to install 500 linear feet of new gutters on one of our properties in Malibu. A person who identified herself as Kimberly, left a voicemail message last night ( around 6:30 PM ) that stated, if I did not call her back at once, to confirm the appointment, then Rain Gutter Pros would not honor their appointment with us. We never, eve,r blow off an appointment, being professional business people who keep our commitments and value our customer as the most important person for the business to survive. I called the number back and since it was after hours I left a message in the company Inbox to confirm. The following morning I called Rain Gutter Pros at 9:30 to make sure they were going to honor their appointment with us and Kimberly said she had not listened to the message but said the estimator would be out at 1:30 . My wife said she would cancel them because of the style and attitude of the company representative Kimberly, but I said out of respect for them, I would keep it. When 2:35 rolled around, I needed to meet with a client soon and I called Rain Gutter Pros to tell them that no one had arrived or called to say they were running behind. Kimberly answered and said, "oh he must be in route". She didn't say I'm sorry, or let me find out where he is when I told her we could not wait any longer, she didn't even ask if they could re-schedule..... She just said "okay have a nice day". It's amazing how some people can be in business in spite of themselves. The website says Owner of Rain Gutter Pros, Oz Figenbaum has been working for nearly a decade serving the needs of thousands of customers. If you look up his license application according to the California Secretary of State, May 23, 2012 is when the application was received. Honestly issue or poor math? I don't know. Always wanted a metal roof but couldn't find anyone to take on the challenge, tough access, many different pitches, but Oz and the crew at Rain Gutters Pro's did it with a smile. great quality of work and materials, plus a fabulous look in the end. Oz and his team were excellent. I am on the board of our HOA and I contacted RGP for an estimate to do some alterations to a dozen existing downspouts. Oz came out that day and withing 24 hrs had a written estimate. We picked the matching color from samples he sent me and it was perfect. It was a tricky design change and their tech new exactly what to do, as well as suggesting ideas that improved the outcome. What was even better is the timeliness of the install. We needed it done quickly as we had our electrician on standby (we needed the downspouts done in order for him to finish his job). Rain Gutter Pros did an excellent job replacing the gutters and downspouts on the back of my house. They arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time (which was okay). And verified with me what they were Installing and how long it would take them. However, the measurement they were provided were off about 10 feet from my original quote, but they honored the original price because the error was on their end. I will definitely use them again when I replace the gutters in the front of the house next year. read more
