Please keep in mind, this is only my opinion and other customers may have had a far better experience. First of all not my first time to this establishment. Tonight it was very unpleasant in numerous ways. We were seated in a back room sepatate from the main dining area which should have been a red flag. Our server completely ignored us and then had the audacity to say she is taking care of an entire busy dining area. So I guess we were not of importance like the main dining area! Now the food. Three of our dinners were exceptional as the food is usually very good one of our diners experience a half raw pork chop. When it was bought to the attention of the staff, and mind you it took almost 10 min to get the server to return to our table to address this issue. We were treated like we were annoying her. We asked to see the manager who said she would take $10.00 off that dinner! And that's all she could offer!!! Any other restaurant should have removed this meal from our bill. Then the manager wanted us to negotiate the price reduction for a RAW pork chop! never have I experienced anything like this. This is unfortunate as I have crossed them off my list to dine. Very bad business etiquette. I would not recommend Raimondo's not in particularly for the food but for their inept service and the way this entire situation was handled by the management. The management being the daughter of the owner who probably was not experienced to deal with this type of situation. Very very poor! Which should have been an enjoyable dinner out with family turned out to be a big disappointment. read more

From the time of arrival they never missed a step. Every serving was as great as expected. Our service was very well timed from the appetizers to the main course. The key lime pie was spectacular with the right amount of tart. The separation of tables was very comfortable. read more

Let's get right to it. The food here is good, as is the service. I say good, not great but a solid meal. We each had a different dish, ranging from pasta to fish. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, even if it was a bit pricy. The ambiance is *chef's kiss* if you'll excuse the pun. My family and I went for Christmas Eve dinner, so the increase in price is perfectly understandable. Here are the pain points: it was on record the coldest night of the year. While I understand it's winter, I cannot accept how incredibly cold it was. Their heating system needs to be either be fixed or replaced. It was like a refrigerator. We ate with our coats on and it tainted the entire experience. Second (and final pain point): the menu online differs from the one in reality. We were looking forward to trying the lobster ravioli but it wasn't being served as we were told it was discontinued as were a few other dishes. Please update! Overall experience: 3/5 stars. read more

Took my wife, my cousin and her husband on a Saturday night in January. We had reservations for 5pm. From the outside this place doesn't look like much but don't judge a book by it's cover. The waitress was polite and knowledgeable, moreover she knew all the details of ingredients and how the dishes were prepared. That tells me, the costumer, that the owner educates their staff. In terms of flavor and portions Raimondos is on point. For appetizers we had the Burrata, and hot antipasto which was absolutely delicious. I ordered the veal porterhouse with fettuccini and asparagus, it was wonderful. My wife ordered the sea food carbonara she loved it. My cousin ordered the sea bass special which came with risotto, shrimp and carrots.....phenomenal! Her husband had the crab and scallop Fra Diablo which could have been spicier but still good. For dessert my cousin and I both had the Tiramisu which was very light and delicious and it was a nice size portion. The whip cream is home made. My wife had the crème brûlée which she says was delicious. My cousins husband had the berries bowl. As far as the ambiance is concerned, the ladies in our group suggest maybe adding a little more charm and character to the decor. Overall it was a great experience. We will definitely recommend Raimondos to anyone heading to LBI. read more

Intimate and classy Italian. We love the seafood inspired dishes, but our favorite is the pork chop and homemade pistachio and cherry gelato. We love that it is BYOB, and considering the large portions and excellent service it is worth every penny! We always look forward to dining at Raimondo's. read more

We had a reservation here and person in our party was ill and we could not make it to the dinner and they charged us $25 per person per Open Table policies? Give me a break! No other restaurants on LBI do this and I called well in advance to let them know and the person answering could not have been ruder and could of cared less. Ill think twice about eating here in the future and we are long term tourists that come here annually. Change your irregular policies and have some compassion! read more

This restaurant is reservation only on the day we went, but we were able to grab a last minute reservation. The service was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The wait for the food wasn't too long. The food was very good. We really enjoyed the meatball appetizer, the salmon entree, and the filet. All very flavorful. This is a favorite of mine when visiting LBI. read more

Legitimately exceptional! 7 of us loved our meals.. mussels and meatball apps were great. Potato crusted cod, flounder, linguini with clams and the trio were amazing. Service was also A+ read more

I went with friends who knew about Raimondo's and made a reservation. Even though it was a weekday, it was packed. A good thing we had reservations. Since they have been there before, they had tried and true favorites, the scallops and pork chop. Certainly, ordering their favorites says it all for those options. I ordered the salmon. I will say that it was one of the best salmon dishes I have had. I look forward to going back again. read more

Been to Raimondo's before and loved it. Went this week and not so much. Service wasn't good and our waitress was condescending as was the hostess. Also the pork was way undercook and they only offered a small percentage taken off the bill. I can forgive the food, but the service left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

Everything went well. No complaints. We were extremely satisfied with the service and our meals

I get it. Saturday night. Labor Day weekend. We had a 6 PM reservation for 6. Waiter was good. Food better than average. We ordered hors d'oeuvres, entrees, deserts, coffees. I assure you the pace of our consumption was on pace with service. The waiter told us "no rush, take your time ". I will re-emphasize that we were not meandering or abusing table time....Until the hostess told us to leave because she "needed to turn the table". Ruined the experience. It was awkward. Take care Raimondo's. read more

Four of us went for the early seating dinner. Our service was impeccable from our waiter (Rich, who's been there ~20 years), and the food was excellent. Granted it's off-season, but they allowed us to dine at our very leisurely pace, enjoying our (BYO) wines along the way.....& did I say the food was excellent? Broad choices for the discounted early menu, and highly flexible to handle one of our guests dairy allergies. We'll be back! read more

Called and got reservations. We were never told we were seated outside. It was cold. They told us 10 min and they would have a table for us inside. We were left sitting there for twenty minutes in the cold. We told them we are leaving and to cancel our reservations. Absolutely no apology. They don't need our business. Im not into bait and switch! I wouldn't have even have given one star but you have to. read more

Went for a family birthday dinner over the summer. We were a reservation for 7 and when we arrived, our table was set for 6. That wasn't a good first impression. Its not asking a lot to have the seating correct. They could use some side walls on the tent to prevent blindness from the sun if you're there around sunset. Either that or turn all the tables around so no one's directly facing west. Only Trump can stare at the sun! Had the special appetizer which was a combo platter for two. It certainly seemed over priced for the four shrimp, small pile of calamari and some other minimal item. $27! In retrospect, would've been better off ordering two regular appetizers. It was more like we got one and a quarter for the same price. Waited like an hour between apps and entrees. WAY too long! We were enjoying ourselves and all, but an hour? The two people who ordered the chicken saltimbocca were disappointed. There was a small lonely piece of prosciutto between the TWO plates. WTH? This dish should have a nice layer of prosciutto di Parma! And there was no sage, which is another key component to a good saltimbocca. I really hate how restaurants in LBI think that most customers are clueless and have low food standards. Some of us do know what good food is supposed to taste like so you'll never get a great review by trying to slack off. The waitress we had definitely wasn't doing great with the mask on because we could barely hear what she was saying most of the time. But I definitely can't blame her or anyone working with a mask on for ours, it's gotta be rough. read more

Horrable service and policys. Took 20-mins for our server to greet us. Went there for the Chx Marsala like the menu online offered. Got there to a different and underwhelming menu then is online. Was told they changed the menu and haven't posted it yet. Mother wasnt hungry and only wanted the Meatball app (2 meatballs $17.99) for her entree. Was told "NO she HAD to get an entree and WILL be charged $29.99 for ONE MORE meatball"! Soooo we got UP and went to another restaurant. The bill would of been $250+; spent it at another place that was happy to take our money. read more

We've had two great meals so far at Raimondo's. On our first visit, we waited for a bit, on our 2nd visit we were seated right away. Service was good both times and the servers provided great recommendations. Don't forget that Raimondo's is BYOB so don't forget your wine. We enjoyed the meatball app and the eggplant app. The pork chop, seafood diablo and the chicken parm are all delicious. We will continue to visit. read more

Had a super awkward dinner here for my brothers' bachelor party. Food was great though. Had the Chicken Marsala and was not disappointed. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's not the kind of place I would go to often. Great for a date though. Amazing food, waiter was awesome and the food came out quick for the size of the order. I was surprised that it was so late and so many people were chowing down. You do have to order an entree though. Just a heads up. read more

Very disappointed, octopus tough, calamari about 12 pieces and they fill up the dish with sauce. Ordered 8 expensive appetizers and told me i have to order another dinner. I can understand if i didnt order appetizers. Five other dinners were ordered. Added gratuity without my say so. Came over and told me that thats what they do for parties of 6 or more. Not posted anywhere else and told me when they brought check over. Food was ok. If i was not with another party i would have said something. Will not return there . read more

NO STARS. A waitress told my mom she was a fat bitch when we waited too long for food. (55 min.) For an app!! she said we were drunk (we were not) left a half a bottle of wine on the table. Embarrassed us in front of everyone and told us to get out. Do not recommend. read more

The food was good but the service was not good. It was subdued, slow and we weren't even asked if we wanted desert. I had to go in and ask for the check. There needs to be a level of more attentiveness. The waitress seemed afraid to engage us. I was disappointed given the prices of the menu. We definitely did not get what we bargained for. First time at Raimondo's Order the lamb shank Well 10 minutes into the order the waitress comes back to confirm the order and told me that they started on the chops already. Told her I order the lamb shank , but lamb chops would be fine ( trying not to be difficult) Food shows up and it is a giant dinosaur bone showed up. I must have said Lamb Lamb lamb 50 times. So mad !! Had two bites and left it. Than the bill showed up The lamb shank was around 27 bucks This tuff dog bone was 42 buck Asked to speak with the owner to explain situation and got nowhere Guess who's never going back Not right!!!! read more

The food was good but they served us a wrong dish which was 21.00 more than the one we ordered. We told the woman manager and she said she would adjust the price....she lied. When I saw the bill I question her again and her response was that I needed to hurry up and pay because she needed the table. I will never ever go back to eat there because they are so dishonest!!! They should have given the dish we ordered instead of telling us to just eat what they brought. Horrible horrible service from management!!!! read more

My wife has a mobility trained service dog. The hostess/manager attempted to tell us we couldn't bring him in. We politely told her it was law and that we were allowed to. She then asked for service paperwork. I offered to retrieve it from our car and asked why she was requesting it, as the animal had done nothing to warrant suspicion that he wasn't a true service animal. She said never mind and sat us. She then proceeded to apologize to all the other tables as they were sat that there was a service animal in the restaurant. We felt her actions were both disrespectful and unprofessional and will not be dining here again. read more

Went here for dinner with a party of six. Absolutely no complaints from anyone. Not sure why all the mixed reviews. We did all order appetizers, salads and entrees so they did not implement any silly ordering rules. I ordered the spedini appetizer, Caesar salad with fried oysters and flounder franchise, everything was outstanding. Everyone ordered something different - the Chilean sea bass and grouper special were both outstanding. Our entire group loved what they ordered and the service was great even and we are somewhat of a demanding group. Our server - Linda was friendly, attentive and spot on. No complaints from this group and we shall return. Had a great time with awesome food! A bit pricey but totally worth it!! read more

Over Labor Day weekend 2023, we were a party of four. All had delicious dinners. Two of us requested modifications to menu items, which the chef was able to accommodate. We have been here many times and had enjoyable meals. 8/30/2023 was a sh-t show with beyond poor food quality! Apps were ok... dinner is where it got ugly. My daughter ordered linguine with clams, mother and friend had chicken which was fair. I ordered the trio which was chicken, veal and shrimp parmigiana. Mine was fried until almost dark brown, was served with minimal sauce and cold cheese, total crap. Then the magic happened... out comes my daughters dinner in the form of a bowl of broth and clams...wtf? Waitress inform us the chief made a mistake and put broccoli Rob in that pasta and brought it on the Side. She then tells us they ran out of linguini.... How the hell can this happen!!??? She then offers papadell noodles as a substitute and brings that out 15 min later. Her dinner is ice cold, mine was crap and they comped her slop and discounted mine only 10% because I tasted it!!!! Avoid at all costs!! Thanks for the worst LBI dinner in 50 years! John from ship bottom. read more

Not our first time. Previous visits have been very positive and on this visit, except for some service problems, was good also. Food was good. The big negative was the attitude of the woman running the front. On leaving, I stopped to tell her that while all previous visits were great, tonight's service was not acceptable. Her response - "Don't come back." Others we have spoken to have reported similar attitude from her. Obviously, we will not be returning. read more

We've quickly become regulars at Raimondo's. The quality of the food is excellent, the menu has great variety, and changes seasonally.
