Wonderful RV park. Close to the Grand Canyon Railway tracks so you get a great front seat view of the train. It comes by at 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM. The owners are fantastic and provide great service and make all feel welcome. Saturday and Sunday hot breakfasts and continental breakfast M-F. Saturday night cook outs with unique entertainment. Showers and bathrooms are amazingly clean. Each spot comes wtih electric, water, basic cable, and free WiFi. Laundry facilities available. The staff will drive you in to town at any time for any of the restaurants or activities and can fully coordinate getting you tickets for the Grand Canyon Railway. Turned out to be so good we now bring our RV up all summer and come up on the weekends from Phoenix to enjoy the weather in the cool pines of Northern Arizona read more

I really love this place. Clean, rustic nice people! Yes you can hear the trains and yes you can hear Hwy 40 but just tune it out. Spaces are gravel but very level. Nice location. We came into Railside RV last minute and they accommodated us quickly and professionally. We were pleasantly surprised by the upkeep of this place. Everything is clean and new! The sites are level, big, with nice trees for shade and a nice, clean picnic table. The restrooms and showers were very clean. What sold us on this place were all the extra amenities that accommodated our young family...they have a playground, a croquet -pool play area, a golfing green, cornhole and a playroom upstairs that includes board games, ping pong, pool, Foosball, shuffle board, TV. And they had 2 Jacuzzis! Our family had so much fun!! They also have a free breakfast EVERY morning with delicious waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt. It was great! Lastly, the staff and long-term residents were so friendly! They went out of their way to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. Every resident would wave and smile. We flew a Frisbee on top of someone else's rv and he graciously put down his awning, got a large pole and got it down for us. Whenever traveling across the country in your RV, 5th Wheel or Trailer, book your site! This place is great, quaint, clean, friendly and they have big sites. Pat and Tamara are fantastic and their staff is super cool, the place is organized, friendly, and they offer free shuttle service into town and will bring you back. They also offer free breakfast. Route 66 is nearby, the train goes by this campground and everyone waves as it travels by. Showers are clean and they offer basic cable, electric and water hookups. Can't say enough good stuff about this place be sure to visit! read more

We stayed 3 nights. Fantastic park to stay at while exploring the Flagstaff area. The owner, Tamara could not have been more cordial and welcoming. We took advantage of the breakfasts, gameroom and the complimentary shuttle to the train station. Also - pro tip, the shuttle will run you into town if you want to go have dinner or pick up a couple of items. This is really helpful on weekends when the parking is non-existent. We highly recommend and will definitely return next time we are in the area. read more

Nice park with a lot of amenities. It's basically a large gravel lot with level spots and some trees with full hook ups which was great. Kind of close to the next spot. Very dog friendly with a dog spa where you can wash and dry your pet. It's a very cute main building (not a lot of items for sale in the store) and a really cute clubhouse where they have tons of games and continental breakfast with waffles served each day. They have 2 inside hot tubs, a large outdoor fire pit, a smaller gas outdoor fire pit, playground and a small dog play yard. Didn't use the bathrooms or laundry so I can't comment on that. Everyone was so friendly. The only thing missing was doggie bags being that this place was so dog friendly. I personally bring my own, but the worker was yelling to someone that they have to clean up because 'these people don't know how to clean up after their dogs' simple solution...have some in the dog play area. Railside RV has so many extras! We have two children (11 and 7 years),a poodle, and things to do when we are camping are important. We booked with Railside because we were going to ride the train to the Grand Canyon. When we arrived at Railside the kids quickly found the basketball court, playground, croquet pool table, doggie park, and corn hole. We had many moments to chill while our kids played where we watched. The Grand Canyon train passed by our side a few times a day and was blast to watch and wave at the riders. We were extra surprised and happy with the waffle breakfast every day!!! This really topped off our stay. Employees at Railside prepare waffles every morning and they are delicious. Railside has a shuttle to the train depot. This was a selling point for us when we were online shopping for full hook-up facilities. Railside booked our tickets as well and had them waiting for us. We missed our ride back to the site due to over shopping in the gift shop at the train depot. The driver came back three times! Last, but certainty not least: the restrooms and showers are amazing! Extremely clean! Shower heads change color with the temperature! The only reason I am not giving a five star is due to the heat. We traveled during a heat wave in Arizona. Our trip was booked months ago and we had no clue it would be over 100 degrees in Williams. If Railside had a pool (instead of a sauna and hot tub) we would have stayed another day and I would have rated them a 5! read more

Campground office was closed due to Covid-19. We called upon arrival and the owner was very kind in helping us to check-in. Our full hookup pull through site was level and spacious. We asked to move to a more shaded site after a few days and the owner allowed us to do so. Great service! All amenities remained open and we really appreciated this fact, as many other campgrounds have closed down services due to the virus. Bathrooms/showers were cleaned twice a day and kept in immaculate condition by staff members. Very impressive! Loved the 25 free cable channels. Complimentary wifi was spotty at best but my AT&T hotspot wifi worked well. The fitness center was also fantastic. Local area is very windy so be careful opening your awning! The excellent quality tap water was a pleasant surprise as most Arizona campgrounds have hard water. We ordered 5 items from Amazon during our stay and all packages were delivered safely right outside the office. The only downside were the loud train whistles that occurred almost daily between 2:00am and 4:00am. Easy 1 hour drive north to the Grand Canyon. read more

We love this park, having stayed here three years in a row. The sites are spacious with picnic tables, and the park is neat, well maintained, and quiet. The trains do make their presence known when they cruise past the park, but that is part of the ambiance! When "free WiFi" is advertised and being it's such a basic essential part of any stay these days, having it not work is miserable for any family doing homeschooling and working on the road. At this place, your device will take forever to connect, and then even when it does, pages of content will not load. Contact-less check-in ideal, but is only successful if the person writes down your email address correctly. Never received a receipt or bathroom codes, couldn't use anything, and was happy to get out of there to a park down the road with much better WiFi so our family could get back to work. read more

We picked this RV park based on Yelp reviews and we weren't disappointed. Staff are very friendly, pricing is very affordable, spaces are decent size, and the amenities are great (hot tub, fitness room, dog wash station, nice dog park, and FREE BREAKFAST!). Spaces are pretty level, even though roads and spaces are gravel. The park is easy to navigate, even with a big rig. Each site has a picnic table and full hookups, and it is easy to get to the bathrooms and showers. We discovered that they have a tradition of waving to the train patrons when they pass by at 09:30 every day - which is very cool. While we were there, it snowed one day, rained a couple of days, and the park could have been a muddy mess if not for the gravel and the attention the owners paid to making sure it didn't come to that. One day there was a large pool of water nearly blocking the entrance to the dining hall. By that evening, there was a fresh layer of gravel to allow easier passage, great job! All in all, if I am passing through Williams again, I will be staying here again. We spent a week here, and the experience was great, due mostly to the staff (weather wasn't as co-operative - but nothing they could do about that, LOL). I was camping at Dogtown Lake in a tent for a week. Decided to go in for an overnight stay at Railside midway thru the week to use Showers/Laundry/Cable TV/Wireless Internet. Check-in was a breeze. I slept in my mini-van. Park is just a flat lot with very few trees, but the staff and amenities make this a very pleasurable place to stay. Showers/bathroom very clean. You have to pay a minimal amount for the washer/dryer. Cable TV is about as basic as it gets. Wireless worked good. Continental breakfast with waffles was excellent! Staff will assist you in making sightseeing plans. Very pet friendly. I will return for another stay. read more

Super nice staff, the lady at the front desk, sorry, don't remember her name, was awesome. we have 2 big black labs and this campground is very pet friendly, they even have a dog wash station. My wife and I pulled up to this place after a long day of hiking and driving with low expectations being that it was 7 pm in the middle of February. My wife and I were on a trip through the southwest and were leaving the Grand Canyon National Park, we needed a RV campground to stay for night, so we called last minute and Railside RV was able to get us a space. Great place to stay if you are taking the train to the Grand Canyon. They will handle the purchase of tickets and shuttle you there and back. This is a fantastic campground. They have great amenities and service. The location was good. I wish we would have stayed here and drove to the Grand Canyon each day as opposed to staying closer to the Grand Canyon (this place would have been worth the extra drive). Clean laundry facilities and fair prices. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The campground was quiet and well laid out. I was astonished with all the amenities: hot tubs, sauna, dog wash, clubhouse and continental breakfast! We will definately return to this area just to stay at this campground! read more

We stayed here from Nov. 4th thru the 9th. We were deer hunting and couldn't dry camp this year. Rhonda was such a pleasure to talk to and the accommodations were awesome! It is simple but very nice. Great little campground. Sites are nicely spaced and clean. Hookups connected without any issues. Amenities were nice. My only complaint would be the spotty and slow WiFi. But it's camping so not a huge deal. Bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd go back anytime. read more
