Jukebox that you can't play with your Touchtune/AMI app. Tons of Pennsylvania Skill games(more than I've ever seen at one bar) Seemed like a clean place though so no complaints. The real star of the show is the bartender/chef/manager Harry. He is on the ball! Super nice guy too. He has to serve all the patrons plus cook up all the food and keep non-patrons from using the restroom or just hanging out. He does it all with ease and is fun to talk to as well. I've been here twice already and will return for third time shortly. It's is 45 minutes from house so I can't go on a regular basis but they're so good I gotta make a trek there a few times a year. Now the Lincoln House has been known as a very nice restaurant for many years, probably at least 50. There are several dining rooms inside, a large separate bar area and indoor porch seating. It is modestly decorated with 19th century prints. The building itself is old and it retains character while having updated decor, tablecloths and glassware. It is upscale but casual dress is ok. One of us absolutely loves the cheesy tomato soup, a regular offering. The tea was nicely brewed. The food was fresh and tasty. Our server AJ was pleasant and attentive. Total price for 2 soups, 2 teas, and a sandwich and large salad was $50. Ample parking, ample space inside. They just have to do something about that handicapped entrance issue.

In the West Lawn area, there aren't many bars in walking distance. If you aren't a member of the nearby Quoiting Club, then the only real alternative is Victor's. It's a nice place to hangout after work or on the weekends, although it's a little cramped. The bathrooms also leave a lot to be desired. There's a jukebox, dartboard, cigarette machine, and an ATM on hand. The menu consists of sandwiches, burgers, and a wide assortment of munchies, including wings, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Note: this is one of the few joints in Berks County that is able to allow smoking indoors (which I believe is based on food/alcohol sales ratio). If you're sensitive to smoke, I'd venture elsewhere.

That was only for our main course and drinks. The food prices were not out of line. However, the drink prices were the highest we have ever paid... ANYWHERE! $16 for a Kahlua and cream. $15 for a Cosmo. Not knowing the drink prices, I ordered a regular soda. One person had two wines and an espresso martini for dessert. Another had two Cosmo's and a Kahlua and cream for dessert. Another had two windsor & cokes. We felt taken advantage of. It's a shame... we're not going back because of this. The salads, with homemade dressings, were excellent; nice greens. I had chicken with crabmeat as entree, good. The mashed-up baked potato with it was delicious; the vegetables, which included broccoli, brussels sprouts, and green beans, were too al dente for my taste. I ate the beans but couldn't make it through the sturdier ones, so a tip for the future, should specify vegetables well-done. We also had a slice from a strawberry cheesecake roll for dessert, good. All the above plus two glasses of wine came in just under $100. The tables were almost all full but food service was not noticeably slow. We had courses regularly and were there for two hours. There is one nasty terrible review on Yelp for the restaurant, but based on our experience, it must be an outlier and I would disregard.
