My girl friends and I met up here for lunch this week. A few tables inside but most tables are on the sidewalk. Parking can be difficult as they share the lot with other patrons and if you go around the corner there are some residential condos and parking is reserved for the residents. They have a decent brunch menu and some sandwiches. They offer pastries from Homeboy Bakery which I was excited to see since I love their pastries and haven't seen them at farmers markets lately. They serve Lavazza coffee, I got the peanut butter mocha and it was great. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was good but the portion was smaller than I expected for the price I paid. I also ordered a bunch of pastries and was dismayed to see the cashier use his bare hands to pick and pack the pastries after ringing me up. No gloves. No tongs. I'm not really a germaphobe (I believe in the 5 second rule), but even I'm surprised that they don't follow this basic sanitation practice which I assume is an industry standard - but I could be wrong. The food was very underwhelming. The turkey pesto was missing flavor, seasonings. Theres no seasonings in any of the food. Like not even salt. The hash brown patty is trader joes patties and it's sold here for $3.5! The matcha latte was good, it is on the sweeter side. First time in Glendora and it is a very beautiful and serene neighborhood. Highly suggest you sit outside as the inside is really cramped. Pains me to give this place three stars as I see lots of five star ratings. I decided on the Prosciutto Panini and their seasonal Pumpkin latte. I was surprised that they offered this flavor in June. I heard that their lattes are the standout here but as I take my first few sips, I honestly couldn't tell it was pumpkin flavored. It was a taste I can't even detect, I didn't enjoy it. Now onto the sandwich which I waited a long time for. As I take my first bite, I noticed the bread overpowered the prosciutto. I was also not crazy about the olive spread, it was all I could taste. I can't help but compare the prosciutto and the mozzarella that we have back in the East Coast. Not sure if this is your typical prosciutto here in SoCal but it was just different. It was breakfast/ brunch time I was in the mood to try a new local place and I came here based on the best on Yelp in my area. We found perking right away off San Dimas. We noticed the outside seating, but there's a sign that directs you to order inside. Inside I only noticed one table that was available for eating. I thought it was neat that they had checkers or chess games available for use. I wasn't craving anything in particular, so I went with something familiar. I had a Chai latte and an avocado toast. Their menu has a breadth of food and drink items such as bagels, paninis, veggie salad, coffee, teas, juices etc. It was my first time here and upon my morning arrival, I was warmly greeted by a male staff. I perused their menu and ordered the following: an Avocado toast, OJ and Hot Cafe Latte. I sat outside their outdoor patio with a good street view under the cool shade of trees and yellow umbrellas. Avocado toast was simply delightful with chunks of avocado, micro greens and seasoning. And their hot Latte and OJ were perfect drinks on a cool, crisp Sunday morning. Customer Service was on point. Staff were cordial, exhibited good decorum and professional. Abundant of free Parking in and around the cafe. Free wifi. Prices were fair. Best pastrami melt I've ever had ! The atmosphere here is hard to beat. The outside patio is the best spot to relax and enjoy your meal and drink. I don't drink coffee but their tropical black tea was super refreshing. This area of San dimas is so calming and tranquil. Their menu is not large. Mostly bready things like bagels , sandwich melts croissants and waffles. The bread used for the pastrami melt is so fresh and flakey it didn't feel heavy. Let be be first to say I LOVE to support local businesses, so I decided to try Railside Cafe on my way to work today, instead of my usually Starbucks run. Walking in the ambiance and decor was nice. I ordered the wake-up #2, which is an egg white, mozzarella, and spinach on a croissant, and it comes with a side of fruit, and I also got a regular coffee. The coffee was warm, not hot, and was nothing special, just watered down warm coffee, no taste or flavor, ok, not a big deal, I dealt with it. I finally got my food after about 10 min. She handed it to me in a stapled to go bag, and I went on my way. When I finally got to work and opened it, I was SHOCKED at how small this thing was!! (See picture) it was as big as my computer mouse! LoL and the fruit cup, wow, old warm fruit pieces. If you like small portions, warm coffee, and old fruit at big prices, by all means, come here, my bill was $17.36 for this!! I am really disappointed as a first-time customer. Truly let down. To anyone who reads this, keep on driving, you're better off going to Starbucks, Ms Ds donuts, or Eggsactly in adjacent city of La Verne, you'll get more bang for you buck! This cafe is awsome!!! Went to meet my bestie for breakfast. You order inside and then pick where you want outside. We both had one of their burritos, the Conductor, I believe. I had bacon and my bestie did avocado instead of meat - really really good! The green salsa is BOMB!! There are things to do for the kiddos - large connect four, books, other games, crayons. Came here recently for a brunch with friends. I've been wanting to try it since I moved, but just hadn't gotten around to it. I decided to go with the Locomotive, which is bacon, sausage, and eggs on a croissant. Normally they put country gravy on it, but I asked for it on the side, so I could dip as I pleased! It was very tasty. I love a good breakfast sandwich and this one fit the bill! All of the workers were very friendly and helped us with recommendations. I can't remember what everyone else ate, but there were zero complaints! There were a few seats inside and several tables and chairs outside to eat at. I decided to try this place very expensive for the tiny burrito you see in the picture that was $18 and then she didn't charge me for the Coke. It's canned Coke mind you they get those things for a quarter. She come out and charge me for the Coke And then she's grilling me asking me if I already got the Coke from the refrigerator and I said no, so both of our meals together me and my girlfriend come out almost 50 bucks after charging you $18 for a tiny burrito. They have the nerve to charge you three bucks for a canned Coke with no refills. They were very generous with the portion of Turkey on their sandwich. I appreciated that I felt satisfied eating half. I saved the other half for lunch. The sandwich was decent, but it wasn't super flavorful. My husband got the wicked good railway. It's a pressed croissant with two sausage Patties smothered in country gravy. I would say that this country gravy lacks seasoning. Typically country gravy is very heavily peppered, so much so that you should see black flecks of pepper sprinkled throughout. This country gravy was mediocre. There weren't any sausage bits in it either, which typically accompany country gravy. I'm rating this establishment an overall 3/5. The service was a bit slow, and the food could've been tastier. The best purchases were the beverages. I did enjoy the overall vibe, they did have nice music playing outside. read more

Let me begin with how flaky and buttery the croissants were. I've been to France and these croissants are spot on. I ordered the Wake Up#1 with prosciutto and it was amazing. The croissant light and not too flaky which in my experience is a really good croissant. My husband ordered the Wicked Good Rail Croissant, which has a really good country gravy with sausage. He really enjoyed having a croissant made with country gravy. The cafe is a walk up order and they will bring the food to your table. Very friendly service. We have never been to this cafe and got some good recommendations while eating in line. This little hidden jem is a cute cafe with outside dining. Very bistro look setting outside with umbrellas for share. It is a local favorite for sure. They also have specialty coffee and pastries from Homeboy Industry. This is a must try for anyone even if your are not from around the neighborhood. we are definitely going back to try other croissant sandwiches and coffee. read more
