    Eggplant Parmigiana

Came here with my parents for dinner with a reservation. We were seated quickly but it took almost 15 mins for a server to come by. Service was friendly but noticeably slow the entire time we were there. The bread basket was good and filled with warm Texas toast and foccacia. My eggplant parm was alright, a touch over fried, but the pasta was cooked nicely. Ambiance was okay, looks like they updated parts the space somewhat recently but other areas seemed a bit dated. Overall okay Italian place in a town with limited dining options. Definitely caters to the 55+ community, and it was cleared out by 8pm.

I've eaten here twice when visiting a friend who lives in Green Valley. This is your classic kind of Italian restaurant that offers all the favorites you'd expect. I'm a fan of the tasty Petto di Pollo, which is basically Chicken Parmigiana. The staff here is attentive. The restaurant has nice booth seating. It's a good idea to make a reservation as this seems to be a neighborhood favorite and is usually busy when we've gone.

Just wanted to try an appetizer since we were in the plaza. Calamari was good. But this little bit for 22$ is crazy

Stopped by just for an appetizer to try out the place. It was good but 22$ for just this was crazy.

Went for a late lunch and the place was empty to service was great. The server was very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing as usual. I had the Gamberi E Cape Santa (wow a mouth full) , and it was amazing. This dish had perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp in a garlic sauce that I wanted to drink, but didn't. It also had Fettuccine Alfredo topped with asparagus which was also amazing. I will definitely be back. If you are in Green alley or traveling through and want some amazing Italian food give them a try, you won't regret it.

The coffee and baked goods were phenomenal, but the real standout for me was the breakfast sandwich. Who knew such simple ingredients on a brioche bun could come together like a work of art? Every bite was balanced and incredibly satisfying. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful. Their warmth and hospitality honestly gave Southern hospitality a run for its money. One of those places that makes your morning feel special.

We ordered mocktails, as she's 17 and I rarely drink, and they were truly refreshing and delicious. Our server, I've forgotten his name, was tall, friendly and patient when I requested to stagger service, as it was a Sunday evening at 1630. The bread and oil was ok, calamari app was good, mostly tentacles and felt as if a third of the plate was just breading afterwards because we got the bottom of the bag from the freezer. For entrees, my daughter had the ragu bolognese and it was 4 minutes away from being al dente, the pasta was uncooked and tough. I wanted to send it back but my daughter said she would "just eat it". I usually get pasta or branzino, but this time I opted for the roasted chicken and it was the most insipid dish I have ever tasted. The chicken was boiled or sous vide and then given char marks on a grill, not roasted, not herbed, just charred. The au jus an overly salted corn starch thickened glaze. The broccolini and polenta on side were good and that's what I ate. The chef needs to fix this item or take it off the menu expeditiously. During dining service we felt bad for the several servers who were dealing with 2 screaming kids running through the dining room and out onto the patio. Several times bumping into servers with trays, the parents, cocktail in hand, barely did anything to attempt to stop them. As a restaurant, if something happened to those children, tray with piping hot pasta, it would be your responsibility, so next time kindly ask them to leave. It was loud and wrong and not the fault of your servers. All in all, I will have to take Locale off my list of restaurants to recommend for Italian food in Tucson, it was always the first place I recommend.

Hubby got shrimp Alfredo fettuccine and i got spaghetti and meatballs. Husband said "this is the best fettuccine I've ever had in my life" and I never get spaghetti when we go out because it never tastes good. We did the meatball appetizer. This gave me the chance to try their sauce and meatballs, but already knew I'd get my "go to" ... Pizza the sauce and meatballs were amazing! I changed my mind and got spaghetti and meatballs for my order! I ordered a half, because now I was full from eating so much of there appetizers! Good thing, cause even the half wads a big serving. This is a must try place! So good! Service and atmosphere were great too! Oh, and we learned why they had the seating under the tent in the parking lot... this place had a line out the door by the time we were leaving and all the tent tables were full!

They said 50 minutes, and added us to the waitlist, this was at 5:40. We got seated a little after seven (almost 1.5 wait). Then we got seated. The garlic knots were brought out and tasted pretty doughy but good. They kinda remind me of the garlic knots you can get out of the freezer section at your local walmart. No bad things to say about the bruschetta. Two of my friends got the Caesar salad, which they enjoyed. My other friend and I got the garden salad, which was fine. My last friend got the minestrone and it was adequate. Then the most unfortunate part of the night was our entrees. Two of my friends got the penne vodka, it had no taste and reminded me of cardboard when I tried it. They both rated it a generous 4/10. To pay almost $30 for that meal was diabolical. My other two friends got the lasagna and to put it nicely, they think the Stouffer's frozen lasagna could beat it out. They also rated it a very kind and delicate 4/10. Lastly, I got the chicken saltimboca. It tasted like boiled salty chicken with canned minced garlic you'd keep in your fridge piled on top. Not sure my breath will ever smell good again. Instead of Marinara sauce I got vodka sauce on my pasta and I guess you could say no taste is better than a bad one? Disappointed in my meal to say the least. Very overpriced Italian food that I could make at home for a fraction of the price. Would not recommend.
