Was recommended their from a waiter in Narrowsburg NY. EXCELLENT burgers. Best We had in a long time. Fries were thin fresh cut and sweet potato were piping hot and crispy. Waitress Veronica was very nice. Wings were very good but charged us for 2 orders of 6 when we asked if we can have two flavors for the 12 count order. We didn't question it. Music was supposed to be going on until 4:30p but there wasn't any music happening at 4:15p. Definitely a place to try after stopping by a few doors down to taste some honey infused gin and vodka. read more

This is such a classic timeless tavern. From the photos of Chip Forelli to Dawn serving us, my parents and I had an incredible time here. The vibes are immaculate, especially with the live band. The food is great and just right for a tavern like this. Brewster even came out to give us his rapid fire hot sauce (ask for it if you see him). Such a kind staff and warm cozy bar. read more

The friendliest, most welcoming tavern I have ever walked into. The bartender introduced me to everyone at the bar. Monday menu is very limited to apps only. Except for the dinner special. Greek moussaka. What a treat! Everyone in the bar had the special, all at the same time. It was like having dinner with friends. read more

This place is fun and casual and the service is great. Its an old school tavern and has many interesting decorations. Also has a shelf with a bunch of board games to play. We had burgers and beers. The marsala burger on a pretzel bun with sweet potato fries was yum! Not in the mood for a burger try the burrito, also yum. They had live music in the yard which was very entertaining . Definetly a great place to stop for a quick bite. The servers were so cheerful and attentive as well . read more

What a scene. Not only did they have incredible, live, original music being performed all weekend long, not only do they have an amazing staff, but the owners are as sweet as a cool raft ride down the Delaware River! We love this place AND, they have a boarding house styled Air BNB above the tavern! We had a few cocktails and slept over night in room 5! Enjoyed crab cakes and a burger outside seating i. the deck, burger was really good. The 2 young women taking care of the outside tables seemed a bit out of sync, they were both serving all tables and was a bit confusing. Meal was good and other than training there servers a bit more I don't have anything negative to say. Great town, made for a perfect stop after a motorcycle ride in the mountains. read more

The burgers are some of the best burgers anywhere but it's the vibe you gotta go for ! This music venue is really something! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff & owners. Warm & welcoming. Perfect experience for a family dinner out. This place has recently reopened with new owners and we had a very enjoyable dinner. The food was good and the waiters were very friendly. One of them offered to bring a piece of chicken to check that the spices was not to much for my kids. I found it delicious. The kids found some trivia and riddle games in the shelf next to our table and we played until the food arrived. I heard they have live music and we look forward to checking it out. read more

We went recently and have to say not impressed by food or service. (Note this is during COVID-19 take out only service) We called and ordered several dishes. The wings ( Honey BBQ) a lot of BBQ no real honey sweetness to it. Garden Salad the salad was not very fresh more like several days - week old greens. Vegetable Burrito same deal not very fresh greens. A Specialty Burger and the Bun was not fresh, burger tasted as if par boiled a few days ago, frozen and then finished on the grill. Over all very disappointing to try this place after seeing all the great reviews but some people don't know great or even good. I was born and raised in NYC - Long Island Area and we know the difference between great food and poor food. This at best was two stars. Also waiting 15-20 minutes while a few drinks were made for someone and our packaged and bagged food sat by the service window!!! So all the food was Luke warm at best not warm ( we went by car down by the Delaware to eat, only 2 minutes away. The view was great, food not so much) I know you will say hard to get really fresh vegetables but I also own a home up nearby there in PA and fresh produce, dairy and meat are easily found. YES, ITS a great place if ur looking for a typical american local pub, but the main thing we love is the live jazz in the afternoon , which we experienced a few weeks ago. . . . . very well done . . . . , a much needed element of the callicoon merchant landscape ! read more

The food is awesome. The music is beyond amazing! The open mic Sunday's at 3 pm is so cool! We cannot believe all the amazing musicians tare so talented. We have a great time every time we go. Took a trip to Callicoon from Jeffersonville area and stopped in for some food and drinks. Live music in the backyard, so fun. I loved the little separated dining areas around the fire with the perfect lighting. The food was good - what you would expect from a bar-type atmosphere. Drinks were good, service was excellent. Rafter's ruined our first try at dining out in 18 months. We arrived at about 5:30 on Father's Day, expecting to have a pub supper before heading to the Callicoon Theater next door for our first movie night - also in 18 months. Not to be, since Rafter's essentially was out of food. No chili; no ground beef (hence none of the 5 burgers listed); no chicken (hence no chicken burritos or salad); no veggie burgers; and no fish & chips. Bottom line: 9 of the 12 Main Dish menu items were unavailable. Our server (who obviously bore no responsibility for this inexcusable management failure) offered the excuse that they had a "busy weekend." Really? As if management was unable to anticipate and plan for a large crowd on a nice Father's Day weekend? And what about the fact that there's a full-service food market a couple of blocks away? Apparently it was too much trouble to obtain chicken or ground beef at Peck's. Anyway, we ended up ordering fries - which took over 30 minutes to arrive (beats me why it took so long if they had no other food to prepare). Needless to say, after this miserable experience, we won't be back. read more

This place is what I call a "gem." The meals are excellent. I've been numerous times already and they're batting .1000. Every meal solid. Meats mostly local and free-range. Recipes and sauces- Solid. Cocktails- Solid. What you're getting here is pub-food at the highest level for amazingly reasonable prices, now a rarity in the Catskills. I will call this the best new bar-restaurant in the Upper Delaware Valley region. read more
