Tommy from Atlantic Real Estate Services installed a radon mitigation system in my home. I was very…read morepleased with both the system and their professionalism. I would strongly recommend this company. I contacted several NRPP certified radon service providers, and Tommy's initial response stood out. He followed-up with both a phone call and an email, asking detailed questions about my home. He also said that he had installed a radon system in a house on my street, which told me he stood by his work. Tommy visited the house to provide a free estimate, and he found that we happened to have a "passive" radon mitigation system which the previous owners had apparently installed. Tommy took a day to think about the project, and he offered two estimates: one to convert the passive system to an "active" system, and another to install a new system altogether. I appreciated that Tommy carefully evaluated my house, to the point that he found the passive system and offered that cheaper conversion option in addition to the altogether new system. We ended up going with the new system to avoid any unexpected complications, and because we knew the new system was fairly priced. I needed the work to be done quickly and during a specific time period, which Tommy accommodated. Tommy and his crew (his father-in-law and brother-in-law) left the house the way they found it, and the radon ventilation gutter on the outside of the house is as aesthetically pleasing as possible. As far as post-testing, they left a monitor in the house for a couple of days, and then they sent me results which showed a significant reduction. In addition, I also own my own radon monitor (an Airthings), which had shown an eight-week average above 4.0 before the system was installed. Within days of the radon mitigation service being turned on, the average had gone down to just above 1.0. These guys were a pleasure to work with and talk to, they offered a fair price which I ran by other contractors, and they did good work which I independently verified with my own monitoring device. I fully endorse Atlantic Real Estate Services.

Angela is also immensely helpful with scheduling and with any issues that come up. Our house has two levels that needed abatement so Janryk installed a system on one level that connected both and pulled from both to get the radon out. The levels dropped quickly but then popped back up. So he came back, investigated, and installed a bigger fan. That also wasn't getting the levels to the point we needed but Janryk came back again and installed a supplemental system. He stands by his work, and guarantees it. I had a very, very loud radon fan on my home's radon mitigation system, and Robert came out and he looked into the issue and quoted me a very, very reasonable price. He spent the day digging into a previous installation, finding out a bunch of details I knew nothing about, and then giving me advice on how to proceed. Having just recently purchased my home, Robert's advice was super important for ensuring my and my family's safety, and addressing some issues that the previous sellers of the home left unaddressed. Recently they sent out a technician and my husband showed him the existing that anyone can see with the naked eye, he took photos and videos, stepped outside "to get a signal" and then he was gone. All communications from them stopped when I showed them proof of the job not done - proof from an independent mold inspection I paid for which confirmed existing mold and work not done. I'm not only very disappointed, but am very concerned about the health and safety of me and my children who have now all been living with unsafe levels of mold in the home, which they refused to properly treat. Do not recommend. Please save yourself the time, money and your health and do not hire this company. *UPDATE* After Flor's reply to my review posted on here, I reached out directly to her on our 23 polite email chain with me, my husband and my realtor, and have heard no response. We have attempted many times to work directly with you all since the middle of July to have the mold removed from this house and we have yet to see any follow through or accountability. I have provided images of what currently still exists in our home, that my husband showed the last technician to come and also took video and photos, yet the response we received was there was no mold present.
