Tommy from Atlantic Real Estate Services installed a radon mitigation system in my home. I was very pleased with both the system and their professionalism. I would strongly recommend this company. I contacted several NRPP certified radon service providers, and Tommy's initial response stood out. He followed-up with both a phone call and an email, asking detailed questions about my home. He also said that he had installed a radon system in a house on my street, which told me he stood by his work. Tommy visited the house to provide a free estimate, and he found that we happened to have a "passive" radon mitigation system which the previous owners had apparently installed. Tommy took a day to think about the project, and he offered two estimates: one to convert the passive system to an "active" system, and another to install a new system altogether. I appreciated that Tommy carefully evaluated my house, to the point that he found the passive system and offered that cheaper conversion option in addition to the altogether new system. We ended up going with the new system to avoid any unexpected complications, and because we knew the new system was fairly priced. I needed the work to be done quickly and during a specific time period, which Tommy accommodated. Tommy and his crew (his father-in-law and brother-in-law) left the house the way they found it, and the radon ventilation gutter on the outside of the house is as aesthetically pleasing as possible. As far as post-testing, they left a monitor in the house for a couple of days, and then they sent me results which showed a significant reduction. In addition, I also own my own radon monitor (an Airthings), which had shown an eight-week average above 4.0 before the system was installed. Within days of the radon mitigation service being turned on, the average had gone down to just above 1.0. These guys were a pleasure to work with and talk to, they offered a fair price which I ran by other contractors, and they did good work which I independently verified with my own monitoring device. I fully endorse Atlantic Real Estate Services. read more

I think they went out of business. Tommy came out to my property last year and installed a system for a very reasonable price. He was great to work with and the system was working well. Recently, my sump pump has been leaking more radon and I tried to get in touch with them, but none of their phone numbers work. Now I'm worried about my warranty. Will update this review if I can get in touch with them, but I'm not holding my breath! read more

These guys are great to work with! I'm a realtor so hire them professionally but also personally for our own investment properties and family homes. They make the testing process easy and have been timely and competitive price wise when a radon mitigation system has been necessary. They do good work! You can hire Atlantic Radon with confidence! read more

I highly recommend these guys! Tommy and his company were great to work with. Customer service was great, they were very informative, and they solved my radon problem quickly and effectively! What more can you ask for. read more

Every member of this organization was an absolute professional! This is the business that I would continue to consult and hire for all my Radon testing and remediation needs! If you're a first-time buyer or landlord and need Radon remediation, Tommy's the guy! read more

Very responsive, fast and quality work, flat rate radon testing, report came out timely. Definitely recommend!

We hired Atlantic Radon after our first remediation system install with another company did not go well (undesirable location, noise, etc.). Dan came out the day after we called to inspect our current system and offer ideas on improvement. It turns out we could have routed the system through the basement ceiling and out the side of our house with the rest of our utilities like we'd originally planned. (Unfortunately, the first contractor from another company convinced us this wasn't possible, and used cheap, thin PVC pipe that resulted in a lot of noise.) Dan and Zack spent a whole day removing the old system, adding a second suction point, routing the pipes to a new location, and painting the downspout to match our siding. The new system works great, looks great, and is completely silent. They even stopped by to drop off the can of color-matched paint they used for future touch-ups. We highly recommend Dan, Zack and the Atlantic Radon team, and wish we'd found / hired them in the first place. You get what you pay for! read more

I highly recommend Tom/Atlantic Radon. Tom is very knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and honest. After the installation of our radon remediation system, our radon level went from 4.5pCi/L to .8. We are very happy with the results. Another company wanted more than double by recommending unnecessary work. Tom takes a step by step approach, meaning that if the initial work doesn't lower the levels sufficiently, he will then look into doing additional work like sealing the crawlspace. He also didn't try to upsell me on a new sump pump, and in fact, told me that it wasn't necessary at this time, which I appreciated. You will be very happy you went with Atlantic Radon! read more

I rarely give out reviews but Atlantic radon went above and beyond in working with us. Timely and responsive with a great focus on not just doing the job but making it a quality installation/process. Would recommend to anyone looking to get radon mitigation done. read more

Very responsive and excellent install of new radon system. My levels were borderline high, and within one day they dropped to near undetectable. Would recommend to others. read more

I called Atlantic Radon after discovering via my own testing that my levels were higher than they should be (~12). Tommy was extremely professional and knowledgeable about my area and was very quick to get me on the schedule. Dan was punctual for our appointment and got our job done very quickly. He also explained everything he did in great detail and taught me a lot about this deadly invisible gas. We just got our results after abatement and are now at .4! Doesn't get better than that. This company has it all: Professionalism, Knowledge, Punctuality and Affordability. I've been recommending to all of my neighbors to check their levels and reach out to Atlantic Radon if they run into the same situation I did. Extremely grateful for this All Star team. Thank you! read more

The team at Atlantic Radon was excellent. I especially appreciated their great communication from start to finish along with their ability to explain details of the testing in an understandable way. Very respectful and professional. I highly recommend them without hesitation. read more

I called Atlantic Radon based on the Yelp reviews. Tommy provides an excellent service. From the beginning to the end, the customer service was great. Radon gas was something new to us, and Tommy educated us and instructed us on what to watch in the system he made active. His services included a fan installation for which he provided the model number from the beginning. Even more, his installation lasted for two hours, but his education portion was about an hour. Our levels of radon gas went to the minimum. his recommendations on how to manage the temporary rise when it rains, work well, and he remains available to answer questions. I especially like the respect he and his team had from the beginning with calls, texts, and details information on what the service was going to include. I checked his certification and training hours with radon leading organization and while I don't know much about radon, this gave me peace of mind. Excellent service. read more

We had excellent experience with Atlantic Radon. Our house has several slabs and several structural complications that made it a non-standard case. We initially contacted a different company and were told that given our challenges, low levels of radon would not be guaranteed. Luckily, we then found Atlantic Radon. Tommy and Dan spent days studying the architectural drawings of our house to create a customized solution for us. The solution they came up with was creative and worked wonderfully. They spent extra time on designing a custom solution and extra time on installation. They also stand by their work and guarantee performance. We are super happy to have found Atlantic Radon! read more

We just bought a new home and needed to do radon mitigation. Our basement has two sections, with two separate slabs. We weren't sure a single unit would do the job for both sections. We are very pleased with the job! The radon in our basement was virtually eliminated! Customer service is great! Communication is too. Timely appointments and service has been excellent. I highly recommend. read more

Tommy and Austin did an amazing job with our basement. They went over and above fixing other small issues in the basement that we had. Very professional, neat and courteous. Would highly recommend them. read more

Dan and Zack from Atlantic Radon did a fantastic job installing our remediation system after our home inspection showed levels around 6.4pCi/L. They were extremely professional, pleasant, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the process. We appreciated that Dan explained everything we needed to know about the setup, both prior to and after the installation. Not only that, he made a point to position the fan and exhaust pipe in such a way that it would blend in with the exterior aesthetic of the house, so as not to create visual or physical obstruction near our patio. Most importantly, our post-remediation reading showed that we are now down to 0.4pCi/L! read more

This company is outstanding. The customer service is impeccable. And Tommy is highly knowledgable about radon systems and the science behind them. read more

Very professional and knowledgeable and would use them again. Would recommend them With hesitation.

Tommy and Paul are both great. Paul came and installed our radon mitigation system in under 3 hours on a windy and rainy day even though our townhouse wasn't very conducive to an easy placement. When we noticed our manometer was at 0 a few months later, I emailed Tommy and he came over, rewired our fan, and bought us a new outlet from home depot on his own time free of charge to make sure the system still worked for us. Would definitely recommend for radon mitigation. read more

Paul and Tommy were great to work with. We were able to schedule a radon mitigation of our home quickly. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and worked diligently to get the job completed timely and accurately. After a few days, Paul returned to read our new test results and we had gone from 11.1 down to .4. We are very happy! We know others who had to have a 2nd pipe installed or additional work completed by other companies and we were very thankful we did not have any issues. As the owner of RHS Home Inspections, it is great to have found a company who is professional, attentive and very reasonably priced to now share with my clients who are in need of radon mitigation. I highly recommend Atlantic Radon for all of your mitigation needs. Paul and Tommy are fantastic! Definitely call them, don't shop around, you get what you pay for and you will pay for remarkable service here! read more

Atlantic Radon - Environmental Testing Near Me

I would recommend Atlantic Real Estate Services for radon mitigation services. Tommy was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining his plan and process to me. I live in a townhouse and he took the extra time and effort to ensure the system was done well and in a fashion that is beneficial to the home owner. He ran the exhaust piping through our basement ceiling in order to keep it out of sight and because our maintenance room and sump pump are in the front of the house. No other company who quoted us were willing to run the exhaust through our ceiling. So far the radon levels have maintained below 1.0. I was very pleased with his work. read more

This company was the greatest. Also the most reasonably priced. Tom showed up on time and was very professional. He put booties on his shoes and left no mess inside or outside. I love that he doesn't use the usual pvc pipe outside. He uses the same material as a rain gutter. So it blends with the exterior of the house. My radon level went from 4.7 to 0.5 & my mom level went from 9.5 to 1.1. Very professional! I highly recommend his services as well as home owners checking their house Radon levels especially if you have a basement or crawl space. Radon gases are undetectable my our noses. read more

I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Atlantic Radon. They were able to come out the same day I contacted them for an estimate, which was in line with the others I received. However, it was their service which sold me on them. They were friendly, prompt, and very understanding of our chaotic household, since we're in the middle of a move. They even offered to speak to our buyers if they had any questions after the fact. Can't recommend them enough for radon mitigation. read more

Great, honest, professional, and excellent communication! The entire team worked hard to quickly respond to my needs and always worked to ensure prompt and efficient communication throughout. I would trust them for all of my radon mitigation and testing needs!! read more

I went with this company for three reasons: 1) Slew of (deserved) positive reviews across platforms 2) They actually sent someone to assess our property, which left us with a clear picture of exactly what we were getting and a firm quote. Paul was very thorough and explained the limitations of our space and all the pros and cons of where the system could be placed. Other companies were unable to provide an in-person estimate or idea of where the system would be installed, provided several hundred dollar ranges, and did not ask questions about quirks in our space that Paul was able to identify as issues. 3) I had a ton of questions and Tommy responded to them all promptly and thoroughly. The actual install went smoothly and Tommy made sure to check in with me about the placement of the system before drilling. Our radon levels dropped immediately and we are very happy with our experience with Paul and Tommy. I hope you don't have a radon issue but, if you do, Atlantic will do an excellent job at mitigating it. read more

Tommy and the staff are professional and sincere folks. The response is quick and the service is as good as it can be. I enjoyed the great communication. They email, text and call you ahead of the scheduled time, which I appreciate very much, comparing with other companies that keeping you in the dark. I highly recommend their service to anyone. They have been in the business for a long time and this is the sole business they do, that says a lot about the company. Very trustworthy! read more

Tommy from Atlantic Real Estate Services responded to my inquiry immediately. He fit me in between other jobs and ended up visiting my home and replacing my failing radon system fan just one day after I contacted him. Great service and responsiveness. Definitely recommend Tommy and his company. read more

After using the services offered by Atlantic, I can state that a client is going to get from this company experience, creativity, enthusiasm and great results. Tommy is friendly, understanding and ready to listen to any concerns. The installation of any radon mitigation system is, from what I learned, a very difficult job. Tommy explained in clear details what was required to fix the radon problem. He was able, among different options, to find a route for the pipes out of the house that involved the minimal physical damage to existing structures and minimal esthetic interference with the exterior look of the house (pipes have to open up above the roof level). His full report, which reached us 24 hours later, included all actions taken, material used, results of the final testing and photographic evidence: the final reading was 0.4 units versus the initial 1.9 units. If anybody is concerned, as we were, about the complexity of such installation, I can't but suggest to call up Tommy and let him find the most appropriate solution. read more
