The owner, Randy, was very flexible to work with in scheduling the assessment, date of installation, and follow up. Chris came out and showed me a couple different options where the system could be installed and how the pipe could be vented to the exterior. Then Chris emailed estimates for each option. Tony and Josh have installation down to a science and had our system installed in about 3 hours. They did their best to make it look the best it could on the exterior of the house. Our radon level reading level before was 7 and after the system was installed, our radon level was less than 0.3 pCi/L. What we really noticed is that we don't have condensation circles on our windows. I am also waking up in the morning with less congestion. We built our home in 2005, I was unsure of the radon level in our home. I purchased an Air Things radon tester in the spring of 2023. Our levels measured from 2.0-11.3 depending on where the sensor was placed (basement level, first or second floor). I Googled Radon mitigation and called Randy Radon Removal in Long Lake. Radon Removal took our Radon issues down from a high number of 16.5 to around 1. They also installed a new sump pump and vacuum sealed cover for our drain tile system. The estimator, Chris, did the planning based on copies of photos and a house layout that was included in the realtors listing.
