We knew we would need to replace the roof back then due to the age (approaching 20 years). We received an estimate but it was mentioned they thought we had pock marks indicating hail damage. Even though we had had a hail adjuster look at the roof a year or two prior, they recommended we contact the insurance company again. And yes - this time when the adjuster looked we had hail damage and qualified for a new roof. Roof replacement took place during one of the heavier outbreaks of COVID-19. Why Wait Roofing was patient with the supply chain issues, our insurance company, and the entire process as we balanced out the roof replacement time schedule to be the least disruptive to the hectic essential worker schedules of multiple family members. Two years later when we needed to change to a new home owner's insurance policy, Why Wait Roofing provided us with copies of the roofing invoices for the new insurance company. Just recently with the wet spring weather, we called and they came to look at our shed (next to the house) to make sure there weren't any shed roofing issues that were possibly the root cause of some puddling in our basement. Dropped 2 bundles (aprox. 150 pounds) at a time from 3 to 4 feet onto roof; loud bangs and knocking stuff off walls in the house. Gutter work a few weeks later presented real problems; shingle edge overshot over 50% of gutter, gutter covers did properly fit gutters and were trimmed leaving parts of gutter open to debris and razor sharp edges. Cheetah's "fix" for runoff over-shot of shingle was to trim shingles back to drip edge. Looks horrible exposing drip edge. Drip edge should have been replaced. Cheetah uses under par subcontractors and adds bad communication and bad coordination.

Legacy Restoration didn't just replace our roof -- they fought for us when no one else would, and…read moresaved us $30,000. Our story started in June 2025 with leaks in our porch and office. Friends recommended Legacy Restoration, and our estimator Michael Stanford immediately identified hail damage and began working with our State Farm agent. What followed was a six-month battle we never expected. State Farm denied our claim twice -- first calling it "normal wear and tear," then offering only mismatched patch shingles that would have violated building codes and reduced our home's value.
