There is a reason cabs are a dying industry. Made reservations for a 4:15 am pick for a morning flight. Weather was an issue so I call the night before to make sure they would have someone available to pick me up on time. They said that they are a 24 hr service and a driver would be assigned. I live in the suburbs so I called at 4:00 am to confirm that a driver was heading my direction. They hadn't assigned a driver and did not have an eta. I hung up, got on Uber and was on my way by 4:20. When I cancelled the cab, they still didn't have a driver assigned. Two stars because at least the receptionist answered the phone. read more

I was a regular with RC before COVID. Never any issues. Finally time to fly again and was quite disappointed in RC. Was confirmed to be picked up and no one arrived at the specified time. In addition, I always received a text message when the driver was on the way. I called and spoke with a young woman who couldn't have been more than 20 yrs old, obviously taking the call from her home. Said sorry, there is only one driver working Vancouver, and he is busy with another fare. No time frame when he can pick you up. Really??? No concern at all in her voice. I cancelled the fare. I am assuming there is a lack of drivers due to COVID and lack of demand. On a side note, called Lyft as a back up and they arrived 4 minutes later. read more

On September 4th I reserved a wheelchair cab for 9:20 the following morning for pick up. Cab never came, called three times, was told it's coming. I had to cancel appointment. At 11:15 two hours late I get a message "your cab has arrived " two hours late from a day before reserve. This company doesn't care. See my photos for proof. I had taken Radio Cab before, and it was OK. I decided to try it again, for a ride to the airport. I made a reservation on the phone, and was quoted $34. (This was a few dollars less than Über.) The guy was on-time - but it went downhill from there. First, when I got into the back seat, I was confronted with two very bright LCD screens: one was a small flat-screen TV (with some garbage show playing), and the other a credit card 'reader' with a very bright screen, and a very bright backlit keyboard. It was dark outside, and these two screens, mounted side-by-side, completely blocked my chance to see forward, out the front of the vehicle. In addition, the headrest of that passenger seat was so high (to mount the TV) that you could only see the sun-visor above it (not even any windshield). I asked the driver to turn off the TV show, and he did, but that left a really bright generic "welcome" screen, which could not be turned off. It was extremely negative experience, to be in the back of a vehicle at night, not be able to see forward at all, but have two super-bright screens directed right into my face, from 16" away. I could not even tell which streets he was using. If that wasn't bad enough, when I tried to see forward by moving to the middle of the back seat, in order to try to get a glimpse of the forward view between the two front seats, I had to deal with a flexible plastic sheeting, which had been glued and taped to completely separate the front and rear seating areas. It went from left-to-right, from window-pillar to window-pillar, and top-to-bottom, being crudely taped to the roof headliner, and draped all the way down to near the floor in front of my feet. As it was thick material, and tucked, and folded - to conform to the backs of the seats in front of me, and the rear center console - it reflected and refracted light coming in. I could not make out anything useful at all, through it. So, basically, I was in a closed, obstructed, tight fishbowl - vision almost blinded by the screens - that had all forward view blocked, with the only way to see out being to look sideways, 90-degrees to the direction of travel. It was horrible. There's more: When we were coming off the freeway in the vicinity of NE Portland, I saw the taxi-meter roll through $34, the fare I was quoted by the dispatcher (who knew my home address without even asking, from records of my previous ride). As we entered the airport grounds, the meter rolled through $41, and I lost track of how high it ended up as we reached the curb. I tried to inquire of the driver why the indicated fare was about $8 more than the quote, and either his English wasn't good enough to deal with the question, or he deliberately tried to pretend he didn't understand the question, because he made a lot of noise about "where my house was located" (Ladd's Addition, well-known to drivers and dispatchers). I gave him $40, which equaled more than a 17% tip added to what I had been quoted. He was fuming. But it was me who had gotten ripped-off! The whole experience was horrible, and I will never use Radio Cab again! read more

I waited over an hour for a cab, called back, talked to a dispatcher, was told it would be at least another 45 minutes, then the stupid woman hung up on me. I have been a regular user and tipper for 8 years and this is how they treat me. 2 months ago, the same thing happened when I had to wait over 2 hours with a cart full of groceries, some of which went bad. That day I ended up having to get a ride from a kind stranger. Radio used to be decent, but now they just suck and don't care about their loyal customers. read more

Negligent and clueless. Scheduled a wheelchair cab to pick up my elderly mother to take her to a doctors appointment. Long story short, they were a no show and she missed her appointment. I called and the person who answered clearly didn't care and actually sounded like it was a regular occurrence. Wish I would have read the review on Yelp before scheduling. Seems like the City of Vancouver should take action on company like this. read more

Twice in one day we tried to set up a pick up time and both times we called back after not showing up and we were told they didn't have any record of the appointment. We won't be using them again. read more

My friend was riding with them in a wheelchair van the driver took off too fast flipped him backwards and told him that he had to take him home when my friend was screaming I'm in pain my scooter is laying on top of me the driver said I can only take you home when they got there his wife was shocked I see him laying in the back of the van then they called the ambulance he drove him from Salmon Creek 2 Hazel Dell with his scooter laying on top of him why he lied on the floor screaming nice company he said he's been doing this for 30 years read more

Can you put in less than 1 star? Horrible service. I ordered a cab online to come at 3:25am. At 3:40 I called and they said they had no cabs available. What's even more annoying is at 3:15 they texted saying someone was on the way. I ended up driving myself. Never again Radio Cab Vancouver. read more

What is the point of making a reservation in advance if you are going to text me at time of pick up that you don't have a driver. When I call to check, the dispatcher uses words like might, assume and maybe to describe if one would be here in n 10 minutes or so. read more

INCOMPETENT! An hour late to pick me up for the airport. Rather than telling me that no driver was available, i was told that a driver would be there "soon". After 45 minutes waiting on the sidewalk at 6.15 in the morning, i finally jumped into my car and drive to the airport, costing me $120 in parking fees. I almost missed my flight, being the last person to board the plane as they were closing the craft door. I had reserved a Radio cab the day before. read more

Follow up. RC service got so bad I switched to Yelp for a few months. More expensive but very fast arrival, in-app communication so I can ask them to come to the side entrance of my grocery store, whereas RC would consistently go to the other side, a block away, and then leave in 2 minutes. I'm happy to report that Radio Cab now has an app, ability to message drivers, pickup has been considerably quicker, and I save 3 bucks. Back in my good graces. read more

Quick update. While we were told to find other transportation, we called and found that while no one told us, we were 'confirmed' and a cab would pick us up. Driver arrived early and was super nice... So I am updating from a 1-star to a 3-star. read more

Terrible experience! I was hung up on twice by the driver. I ordered a cab for an elderly women needing a ride. I was told 10-20 minute wait. The elderly women waited for a couple of minutes before heading outside to meet the cab. Just after she walked away from where I was I hit a call from the driver saying no one is try here and cancelled the pick up. I told him it hasn't been 10 minutes and his response was yes it has and hung up on me. I called the office to order another cab and explained to them the driver was a jerk and the lady needed time to get outside. I hope she's able we to get home soon. read more

This is possibly the worst cab service ever. They have an F with the BBB. I had a SCHEDULED pick up for my 13 year old once a week. In one month they neglected to pick him up twice! This last time he had called them, asking where they were explaining he was cold and waiting. He was told he would be marked priority and they're on the way. Over 30 min later nothing. I call. The lady basically laughs at me, says driver must have decided not go. She had the audacity to ask me what I want them to do. Like how about pick up my child that been left out in the cold for over an hour before it gets dark! She said she will see what they can do. No one came. We got another service to pick him up. Long story short if you are in Vancouver go with Vancouver Cab Company. They not only got my son but said scheduled pick ups are a reservation, always picked up on time. read more

I called at 10:30 AM and asked for a 5:30 PM cab ride to the airport. They said that would be no problem but stated nonchalantly that they could not guarantee that they will be there right at 5:30. So I said ok, how about 5:20? Would that be a safe bet? They said yes. Keep in mind I needed to be there at 6:30 PM and only live 15-20 minutes away. So as the clock struck 5:50 I called them to see if they would be at my house soon. They said that no one had been dispatched to come to my house yet but that they were working on it. At 6 PM no one had been sent to my house and they could not give me an estimate of when this would occur. So I then drove myself to AirPark (great review coming soon). This situation was frustrating because I would have been fine sitting at the airport as early as necessary just to have a cab ride there. I know cabs get busy but I wish they would have explained to me that when they said that they could not guarantee it would be on time that it could be more than 40 minutes without even a cab en route. Please keep in mind I have used radio cab in Portland and have always had a positive experience. This review is limited to my experience with radio cab dispatched from Vancouver. read more

Reserved online the day before a flight out of pdx. When I called to verify in the morning they couldn't find the reservation but said someone was on the way. As we were running later and later for our flight, we kept calling for updates on the drivers location and were told over and over again he was a mile away (clearly a lie). Called again to let them know we were going to have to take our own vehicle and possibly miss our flight if he didn't arrive in 5 minutes and the dispatcher hung up on me! Driver arrived a minute later thankfully. They are getting 2 stars because the driver was nice. I won't be using them again. read more

I ordered a van using their webpage for an early morning pickup to take my family to the airport. We need a van since there are 5 people in my family. They call shortly before pickup time to ask if we actually need a van. Apparently their form fills in "van" by default even when people don't need them, so they assume no one actually needs a van. They say one is coming but will be 10 minutes late. I call when time is up. This time they say a different van will come in 20 minutes. The guy also sorta implies this whole thing is my fault for using their webform instead of calling in the order. I guess I should have known that their website has a major bug that they don't feel is important enough to fix. I wait. The cab doesn't show up. I finally call and cancel, drive ourselves to the airport, and pay the expensive parking fee for the airport. The only reason we didn't miss our flight is that I had factored in an extra half an hour, just in case the cab was running late. Do not use this company if you actually need to get to the airport on time. Never again! read more

Pretty Lame. There was a reserved cab at the train station that made no offer to call another. My call to the dispatcher left me on hold, listening to ads and a recorded voice telling me my call would be answered in one minute.....repeated every minute. Does not appear to be a legitimate operation for Vancouver. read more

I needed to get to Vancouver clinic early morning and ordered a cab the night before, it was great they arrived on time I am disabled and they put my walker in their cab, and got me to my appointment on time, I told them I would be ordering my return when I was thru with my appointment because I did not know just when I would be done. when ready to return I called and ordered a cab and waited about an hour and no cab, so I called again and was told they would be there shortly, NO CAB. Called again they asked me if I had an account with them. I said No but that they had brought me to the clinic and was needing to get back home, they said one would be there right away. Well that didn't happen there was no cab still an hour later. I was there for 4hours waiting for a cab and finally decided I couldn't wait any longer I was tired and hungry so I caught a bus home. I would suggest, if you need a cab do not call Radio Cab, their service stinks and they do not deserve to be in business, Not Dependable at all to say the least!!!!! Janice read more

Choose another company. We called 2 hours in advance to book a cab at 7pm for the Lana del Rey concert. We were told that it would not be a problem to get picked up at 7 from our hotel to go to the venue despite the high demand of the concert. However, 7 rolls around and there's no cab so we call them again and they tell us a cab is on its way. Fifteen minutes later still no cab! So we call again and try and be as polite as possible as we're sure they're slammed from the concert. The man on the phone was very rude and curt saying we were next in line and then hanging up on us. Another 30 minutes go by...finally after 45 minutes of waiting for our cab we decide to just take uber despite the high fare and get a car in 10 minutes. We would have been totally fine if they had told us when we booked that no cabs were available at 7pm, but they clearly either didn't know their own company's availability, or they flat out lied to us. Not impressed. We were promised a pick up for the airport. Communication was excellent however not true to reality. We waited for our driver for 40 minutes before finally hearing from him letting us know we would still be waiting another 20 minutes. We ended up having to take our vehicle to the airport and park it for four days, a very expensive stay. read more

I used this service a few times b4 n didnt have a problem...I guess a 5 minute ride from my home to work isnt good enough fare! Tried to arrange for a pickup this morning and explained I needed to get to my destination at a specific time (not far away and easily accommodatable). I was told the cab was 7 min away. After 15 min I called for an update: they had not even called the cab driver to be assigned yet. Put in request to cancel the service and called another company. Now I get a confirmation from Radio Cab that my taxi is on its way and I start getting calls from the driver asking for directions to my location. Missed my appointment thanks to their inability to do the most simple aspect of their service. Completely disappointing encounter with a dysfunctional company. read more

Ordered a car, was there in ten minutes to the Amtrak station in Vancouver. Very affordable ride. Less wait time then Lyft or Uber.

My dad ended up having medical issues and needed to go to a doctor appointment, and I needed a wheelchair-accessible cab. I went online at 7 am and selected wheelchair cab, for a pick up in Vancouver at 230 pm. I was waiting outside for the taxi with my dad 20 minutes before the cab was to arrive, and I saw a Radio cab come into the parking lot, but it wasn't for a wheelchair. I ended up calling Radio Cab, and they said there are no wheelchair-accessible cabs in the area and they could not fill my request. I stated I made this reservation at 7 am, to ensure I would have a ride for my dad to his doctor's appt. My question is, WHY did their system let me order a wheelchair cab? WHY didn't they call, email, or text me that they couldn't fulfill my request since they had all of this information. One last thing, taking care of an ailing parent is already stressful enough; all I needed was to get my dad to his appt. This situation added undue stress to an already stressful situation. read more

This company is very unreliable, and employ unethical tactics. It doesn't matter how early you call in advance to book a pickup, they will route to you at their convenience. If that means you are waiting for over an hour in the rain? Doesn't matter. If another person calls for a pickup that is closer to a driver, you get skipped over. Don't trust this company with any event of importance. This is not an opinion formed from a one-off event. They have been routinely horrible, and I now use another cab company in Vancouver with much better success. Please look elsewhere! read more

WARNING CROOKED LYING CABBIE IN THE COUV! While sitting at home in Vancouver, WA I had a Radio Cab driver knock on my door repeatedly at midnight. I didn't answer the door but called their dispatch to tell them I didn't order a cab and they said they didn't have anyone in my area. So I called the police. The radio cab driver accused me of bailing on a $40 cab fare! I was in disbelief that someone who works for a well know company would falsely accuse someone of a crime! I think someone did bail on him but he didn't watch where they went so he assumed it was the closest house. Even after seeing me up close he told the cops I was the one who bailed! I was in shock of what was taking place. After arguing back and forth the cabbie finally left and so did the cops. I figured after a few days or so I'd receive an apology from Radio Cab or the driver after they reviewed their camera and saw that it wasn't me but then again the Cabbie probably knew it wasn't me the whole time so the video wouldn't matter to him anyways. All in all don't use Radio Cab in Vancouver, Wa. You may just end up with that liar as a cab driver. Who knows what else he would do. read more

I have used this company several times. Each time I scheduled a ride in advance. Each time they were over 15 minutes late, or did not show up at all. I left them an honest review, when prompted to via their app, in the hopes they would improve. They responded by not allowing me to book any more rides. Avoid this company. They do not value or care for their customers. read more

I star because it's the lowest rating and should be lower. Cab #17 was late, rude on the phone and would not get out of cab to pick up customer. Sat in parking lot and glared. Terrible customer service! I am now recommending Uber for all my customers. Better service, cars, more professional and FASTER. read more
