My favorite flavor of the Rad Roasting Company!
Nikki T.

This is THE best coffee Ive had in the northwest. I have been a long time coffee drinker and customer, I am so thankful I found them!! Matt and his family are super friendly and willing to let you have a sample, or will help you pick the right flavor beans that work for your coffee machine or taste. I will continue to be a customer!!

Pretty rad.

The vibe of this place and the people that make it happen every morning are world class. Life situations kept me from making my way to the shop for a year or so, but when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a "it's been a while!" The coffee is reasonably priced and imo - best in the area. It's consistent and while I'm a sucker for the 12oz cold brew - I've gone off script a few times and have always been pleased. I've got family that comes into town fairly often, and almost every morning they ask to go because they think about it when they're at home in Chicago. There's plenty of seating, tho it's sometimes so bumping (because it's a great spot!) it can be hit or miss if you can stick around and enjoy the vibe. But generally I've had good luck over the years setting up at a table and chatting with friends & fam before a hike, enjoying the morning with my pup doing some socialization training or throwing a few emails around to my corporate overlords. I've seen ads for their evening events and have been wanting to make it to one, but I always seem to see the poster days or weeks after the event! Poetry nights in a space like boon boona seem like an unbeatable vibe, hope to notice & get to one soon. *Parking is also not hard to find at all. There's a free garage down the street at the transit center that is never full, and tons of street parking*

They had the classic espresso selections along with seasonal flavors. My latte was perfect! There was plenty of seating available inside. You can also see the roasting machine in the coffee shop. Parking was difficult to find, so be ready to walk a bit to get to this coffee shop.

I made a mental note to check it out when I returned to Des Moines. What a terrific cafe! Warm, cozy, abundant natural light, and cool music playing in the background. The variety of seating g options is perfect: bar stools in the window to people watch, small tables to enjoy the coffee or do some work, more bar stools adjacent to the prep area to watch the action or engage with the baristas, or outside to enjoy the sun and sights Really welcoming and friendly team. It's clear they love the product and the cafe. I asked about the blending coffee being used and it was well explained. They even offered me a (generous) taste of the drip version, which I typically don't like. Good flavor! Coffee is terrific. I ordered a macchiato, which was poured perfectly. When the barista noticed a bit had spilled on to the saucer, he changed it out before serving. A lovely attention to detail. The pastry was tasty. Pricing is really fair. The olace is well visited and has a really terrific neighborhood vibe. It would be easy to make this your go-to hang out!

Another popular shop now located in the SeaTac airport and it…read morealmost seems unnecessary to leave... unless you want to see little things like the Space Needle and downtown Seattle. THE DRINKS | Variety of coffees, espressos, lattes, and seasonal drinks. I ordered... - Pumpkin Spiced Latte (8 oz.) | Made with real organic pumpkins, pumpkin spices, and topped with pumpkin pie sugar. I hate to compare, but it's way better than Starbucks' pumpkin spiced latte in that the flavors are strong with a smoother finish. - Drip Coffee (12 oz.) | A robust coffee that'll jumpstart your morning. THE FOODS | Pastries & cookies. I ordered... - Morning Roll | Croissant shaped as a muffin. Flaky crunch on the top and buttery soft inside. Warmed up and this morning roll is amazing. THE CAFFE VITA FEELS | Small coffee shop with a small display case for pastries and an area to add sugar and cream to your drink. There's also a stand to the right of the cashier counter where 12 oz. coffee grounds are packaged for purchase. THE ORDERING LOGISTICS | Line up and order i at either Caffe Vita or adjacent Beecher's for food or coffee. I stood in the Beecher's line for food and Caffe Vita for coffee and a pastry, not realizing I could've ordered both at either shop. Coffee subscriptions can be found on their website. They ship within 48 hours of roasting their coffee to ensure you're getting the best flavor.
