Large station, like all RaceTrac locations. This one is in a weird spot with really only one way in and out making it a hassle to exit sometimes. Inside is clean and well stock. There are always a ton of employees but not the best service. Today I stood at the check out counter for a minute with zero acknowledgement before I finally used the self check out. Maybe they do that on purpose. Seems like a waste of labor dollars. One bonus is they always have fresh pizza coming out. read more

This RaceTrac is off of I-75 and hwy 92 in Acworth (exit 277) Nearby businesses includes: Dunkin Donuts, Holiday In Express & Suites, Shoney's, Hardee's, Cabela's, Dairy Queen, Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott and CVS. I've been to about 15+ RaceTrac in the Atlanta area and this isn't one that I care for. I think the place could be cleaner, the employees weren't friendly at all-all of the other RaceTracs have super friendly employees. RaceTrac on Cherokee Road in Acworth is a convenient stop for all things gas, snacks, and drinks all in one place. It is easy to get in and out of here with everything that you need and be on your way in a short amount of time. I was impressed with this location and all that they had to offer. I really love this gas station! It's much more than a gas station, it has everything! Coffee, snacks, it even has frozen yogurt but you can add toppings on if you like, kind of like Sweet Frog back in DC! This particular one is very clean, and it always has everything I need in stock! That's the prices are reasonable, and they are very competitive for the other gas stations right around here. This convenient store is located right off the Interstate 75 across from Cabelas. They have plenty of gas pumps here and they also have the lottery here. The bath rooms are to your left as you come in. You can get an Icee here and of course the usually coffee, cokes and snacks and so forth. They had a special on peanuts as you can get 2 packages for $1. The customer service here was above average when compared to others that I have been to. read more

It is weird to write a review about a gas station but I felt the need to write one after they began sell boiled peanuts. This may seem crazy to some of you that are not from the South but I am here to tell you, if they're done right, boiled peanuts are a delicacy and Race Trac does not mess around. This location is right off highway and on highway 92, or as I like to call it, the road to civilization. It doesn't matter which way you're going, there is a Race Trac everywhere and I love that they're updated them. Race Trac sells gas of course but the real gems are inside the store. Did I mention the boiled peanuts? They sell them 24 hours a day and make them fresh daily. They also are starting to sell frozen yogurt. Before you send me a hateful comment, try their frozen yogurt. All of the varieties have fat and calories listed above and actually taste better than the larger fro-yo places. The newest Race Trac by my house even has a topping selection that would put Dairy Queen to shame! Several locations are starting to sell fresh fruit, salads and sandwiches. The salads and sandwiches are made fresh daily. The fruit changes with the season and they offer a new variety every day. I bought a mango last week. That's right, a mango from a gas station-it was awesome! Next time you're around a Race Trac, stop inside. You might be surprised they sell more than just gas and typical salty snack foods. read more

I'd say writing a Yelp review about a gas station is not in the norm- however, I feel like it is appropriate to give this particular gas station 5 stars due to its cleanliness and their better than average amenities. As soon as I walked in, of course, I go straight to the women's bathroom where there are two stalls, one being the handicap where you typically do not see its own sink and paper towel dispenser but was surprised by the sight of it. Then, walking back out to check out the gas station I was also surprised by their frozen yogurt section. LITERALLY, there were frozen yogurt dispensers on the wall along with its corresponding topping section and there was quite a variety. Unfortunately, I was more interested in their luxurious touch screen coffee machine where they served medium roast, dark, hazelnut, and 100% Colombian. There was also a cute section with creamer, whip cream, sugar, and napkins where you can make your coffee however you wanted. Also, there was a hot dog area where they had fresh hot dogs with its corresponding condiment section including onions, radish, and anything you could think of that would go on a hot dog. I may be just in complete awe at how great my experience was in the short amount of time I was at RaceTrac but seriously, this was the best gas station I have ever been to. read more

I Love Racetrac! Their gas prices are always very competitive and their staff always greet you as soon as you walk in the door, or at least they always greet me. I have recently caught onto something that Racetrac does that has encouraged me to shop there even more....free Krispy Kreme Donuts!!! When you buy something there, check the bottom of your receipt. I stopped at Racetrac at 1135 Hwy 92, acworth, ga location on Sunday on the way back from GA to TN. I found out after I got back to my house ( which is 4 hrs away) that I forgot my cell phone at Racetrac!!!!! So, I called and " Daniel" answer my cell and told me that she got my cell phone and tell me to call her manager "Jeff" the next day. I am looking forward to my next trip to GA and stop by to say " Thank" to Daniel and Jeff for their kindness. FYI, I did not get my phone back yet, but looking forward to get it back though.
