Store and gas areas normally much cleaner than this morning. All window wash squeegees are dry and empty. Could be short of help.

Never an issue here. Low gas, clean store and friendly staff. Only think I don't like is the trash cans at the pumps are always full. FYI

Located on Barrett Parkway at the Crater Lake intersection sits this beautiful convenience store. It has been here for about 5 years and is a staple in this area, so be prepared for a busy store and busy pumps! This location has about 16 pumps, including diesel and has a free air pump off to the side. Parking is plentiful as they have spots lining each of the three entrances. Inside they have all the things that we love including coffee station, tea station, donuts, hotdog/rollup station, slushees and of course the QT Kitchen...which is definitely growing on me! In addition to all the goods they got, this location is always very clean and put together, and features great service from the floor to the kitchen to the register! I have always swung in for a single slice of pizza, but only recently decided to grab a few actual pies which are served in XL size at only $8.99! Well worth the price and they are quite tasty for convenience store pizza! My other item from the kitchen is the Iced Mocha. Again, fantastic price and great tasting! Overall, QT is my go-to for convenience stores here in the Atlanta metro area and this location will be the spot when I make my way to Kennesaw!

Due to its central location, this place is popular and congested. If traveling on I-75, this station is right off exit 269. If traveling on I-575, this station is about a mile off exit 1 (after exiting, you'll have to make a U-turn to get to it because of a median on Barrett Parkway). The best and cheapest places to get gas in this area (Town Center) are the Costco at 645 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW (if you're a Costco member) and the QuikTrip at 105 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW. The gas prices at this station are more expensive, but not unreasonable. You can watch news updates on your pump's high-def display while you fill up. There are 16 pumps at this station. If you fill up on premium, Shell's premium gas is marketed as "Shell V-Power NiTRO+," "an innovative, patent-pending formulation engineered with triple-action protection for optimal engine performance, delivering unsurpassed protection against gunk, unbeatable protection against corrosion, and our best protection against wear." I've filled my car up with Shell's premium gas multiple times, but not regularly, and haven't noticed any difference. The on-site convenience store is known as Sam's Mart. It's not as nice as QuikTrip or RaceTrac, but on par with the generation of c-stores that came before. Both the gas station and convenience store are open 24/7. During our visit, the outdoor speakers were blasting "No Easy Way Out" by Robert Tepper, a song popularized by Rocky IV (1985): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwPb7g_BlXQ. Awesome.

They inspected the flat tire and saw now leaks or holes. Then filled it up with air using his pump and it was just fine. The air pump at this gas station literally took my air. Once I looked at their yelp page I see others have had issues with the air pump as well. The store needs either put a sign up on the pump to state that it is not properly working or get it fixed. They are just taking advantage of peoples money.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street and checked in Thursday evening. Got up Friday with a bunch of running to do including the Grandkids meeting Santa at Town Centre Mall, new shoes at Coggins in Marietta, lunch and finally back to the hotel for a nap. Some additional running to start out with a run to Kohl's on Cobb to pick up a new set of underwear for me since my wife missed them in packing. her standing joke is that I always forget something. Gas gauge showed about a quarter of a tank so decided to just go across the street to Chevron. With the median dividers and no u-turns, it took a bit of navigation to get there. Gas was $3.39.9 which seemed at bit high because the day before when I filled up in Denver, I paid $2.89.9 but local markets vary in part driven by State Taxes. Accepted it because of one of the hazards of travel and what else could you do. Drove over to Kohl's on Cobb Parkway which was about 5 miles away and the price at all of the gas stations including Chevon was $3.19.9 or 2O cents less expensive. Later when we got over to Town Centre Mall for the photo's with Santa, there was a Quik Trip with gas at $3.04.9, Something is not right. This Chevron is in the middle of KSU and granted between two interstates, is making it more difficult for College/University Students who in many cases, the extra 30 cents a gallon could impact an already tight budget. I remember back in antiquity when I was a College Student when every penny counted.

I proceeded to show my credit card had the same name on it and he snatched it from ny hands and said "this looks like you found someone's cards on the ground and are trying to use them." He began interrogating me for my birthdate. I simply declined being questioned and just asked for my cards back and he refused to give them to me. He went back and forth with me for 5 minutes before he said he was calling the cops. I ended up having to call the police because he wouldn't call them and wouldn't give me my cards back. I called the police and explained the situation. While I was waiting for the cops to arrive he tried to kick me out of the store with my cards in his posession!!! And proceeded to tell me it was "HIS" store. Also he told me "You're weird. You are doing kratom this stuff is for weirdos. It's for people trying to get off meth." (Which is extremely incorrect lol.) And that it was his store. Why does he not know anything about the products he is selling? I waited 10 minutes and finally 1 minute before the officer arrived he gave me my ID and credit card back after stealing them. I just hope my identity or account isn't stolen or charged. (He had his phone out the whole time and I don't know what he was doing with it.) This has never happened to me in my life and was the most ridiculous thing i've ever experienced at a gas station. Horrible.

My 89 year old mother purchased a pair of Jabra hearing aids approximately five weeks ago. They…read morehave been nothing short of a nightmare for her since day one. They came with a ninety day no question return exchange policy. She resides in Cobb County close to the Town CTR. Costco. Just for some background I am her son residing in Newnan. Since day one the hearing aids have been a problem for her. She calls me crying twice a week not able to get them to work. They are not user friendly for an 89 year old women. I called the hearing dept. at Costco Town Ctr. Sat 05/24/25 and enquired what I would need to do to exchange the hearing aids. The employee advised me that I could come in anytime and I did not need an appt. I drove up 60 miles from Newnan today to bring my mother in to exchange the hearing aids. I must say I met the rudest Costco Employee I have ever encountered today at the hearing aid counter 05/27/25 at twelve noon hearing aid cash register. We approached the counter and explained my mother was having issues and needed to exchange her hearing aids. The rude employee at the counter stated she would need an appointment to exchange the hearing aids. Totally contradicting what I was told on Saturday. I tried to give her feedback on why my mother wanted to exchange the hearing aids. The Jabra rechargeable Hearing aids were not designed for an elderly person to use. I explained the first problem she has with them is there is no way to remove them from the rechargeable case without touching the manual volume control. The button was designed for fashion not practicality. It is contoured with the aid as not to stand out. So every morning my 89 year old mother was accidentally turning her aids down by gripping the button when removing them from the case. One aids button adjust volume up the other adjust it down. Problem two is if she was able to find and open the app to adjust the aids the front face only showed one bar for sound making even I think that the one bar controlled both aids. After expanding the app I realized their is actually to sound bars in the app. I do see how they expect an eighty nine year old to find much less expand the app. Problem three is during the late night thunderstorm on Monday 05/26/25 the app got kicked offline.I happened to have her staying in Newnan with me over the holiday weekend. She woke up Monday and told me now they do not work I checked her IPhone-settings-accessibility-hearing aids and checked the find my hearing aids. The I phone program responded it could not find the aids. The app was just spinning off-line. I placed the aids in the charging case with the I phone next to them.I hit the find my again and it came back with found 100%. When she put the aids in her ears the left side was muffled. So today why I was trying to explain the problem the employee who was totally disenfranchised and rolling her eyes responded I don't understand I have a 103 year old female customer that uses the rechargeable but has never had a problem. The insinuation was my 89 year old mother was nothing short of stupid. She acted like no big deal that I had to drive from Newnan to Town Center to bring my mother in. She took delight in telling me she had our appt for next Monday June 2 at 1615. I explained no way I could come with traffic that time of day. She scheduled my mother for 1115 next Wednesday at 1115 to come in and discuss her exchange.Tgen she told my mom to let her take a look at her aids. She came back with them working a few minutes later and stated she simply cleaned them. She said the shield was clogged with wax and needed a new sleeve insert. Never heard of replacing the sleeve shield after five weeks. She insisted my 89 year old mother has dirty ears anyways we will be back to drop them off for the exchange We'd June 2 at 1115. We will have to see how the customer service is next week. I guess the morale of the story is do not buy hearing aids at Costco. The employee we encountered did not take ownership of our problem and was totally put out while I gave her what I felt was useful feedback. Brian D
