It's located right in front of the Publix Grocery store and next to the Pet Supermarket. There is also a BP Gas station across theh street. The Walmart super center is across the street as well as Starbucks, Panda Express, McDonald's, Bojangles' and Papa John's pizza. The station looks like its been remodeled and someone has cleaned the place up quite a bit. Brand new everything which makes it a pleasure for a little filler up....

I filled up at this BP on my way to play golf at nearby Towne Lake Hills Golf Club. I was coming from I-575 and passed the QuikTrip on Towne Lake Parkway on my way here. However, the QT was out of mid-grade and premium. My car needs premium and this BP had it. If that QT had premium, I probably would've filled up there since QT's gas prices are generally cheaper than BP's prices. This BP gas station has 16 pumps, a convenience store, and a machine car wash. I believe I also saw a car vacuum and/or tire air machine. I used pump 15 and it was in good condition. My receipt printed clearly. The paper towels and window washing liquid were stocked near me on my side. I used one paper towel and it was nice quality. Durable. The pumps look clean and the place looks really good. The folks that run this joint have consistently kept this place clean. No excessive oil spots by the pumps. The trash cans are emptied out regularly and not cigarette butts laying around. The window cleaning fluids are filled regularly and no funky film on them so that when you use it to clean your front glass window you get this weird grease streak. I usually just fill up and go. I've been inside a few times and the place seems pretty clean....got no complaints. The location is fantastic. Smack right in the middle of Town Lake Parkway and Eagle Drive. Its near the McDonalds, Hardees, Starbucks and Chase Bank. There is also a drive thru car wash. The station has been here as long as I can remember and even though its sorta tucked away-it's not facing a main road or near the highway it can get quite busy at times. They recently remodeled the outside and now they all have brand new pumps, credit card swipers and gas station TV! Hurray. There are two entrances to this station. If you turn in where the U-Haul/Public storage place is just be careful because it's sort of a u-shaped turn. You can also turn in to the station by where the Arnold Mill Commercial Center Marquee is located. That's the entrance I recommend. If you want to get back on Main Street. No need to go back up on Arnold Mill Road where the light by the railroad track takes forever. Just go up to Dobbs Road (Woodstock Woodworks is at the corner) Stay on Dobbs and it dead ends onto Mainstreet. This place is terrible. It's not maintained! The windshield station at each pump has worn out…read moresqueezes. The cleaning cushion on the tool has half the cleaning material worn off. More damaging is the chemical they have in the bucket. After using it, my windshield was full of smears, in worse shape after using their cleaning chemical on it. Worse yet, after getting home, I had to use three different window cleaners to get the smears off my windshield. Go to QT down the street. Their place is well maintained!

Ouch - Drove down…read morefrom Denver NC (outside of Charlotte) for a couple of days with the sons and their families over Thanksgiving. Stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street and checked in Thursday evening. Got up Friday with a bunch of running to do including the Grandkids meeting Santa at Town Centre Mall, new shoes at Coggins in Marietta, lunch and finally back to the hotel for a nap. Some additional running to start out with a run to Kohl's on Cobb to pick up a new set of underwear for me since my wife missed them in packing. her standing joke is that I always forget something. Gas gauge showed about a quarter of a tank so decided to just go across the street to Chevron. With the median dividers and no u-turns, it took a bit of navigation to get there. Gas was $3.39.9 which seemed at bit high because the day before when I filled up in Denver, I paid $2.89.9 but local markets vary in part driven by State Taxes. Accepted it because of one of the hazards of travel and what else could you do. Drove over to Kohl's on Cobb Parkway which was about 5 miles away and the price at all of the gas stations including Chevon was $3.19.9 or 2O cents less expensive. Later when we got over to Town Centre Mall for the photo's with Santa, there was a Quik Trip with gas at $3.04.9, Something is not right. This Chevron is in the middle of KSU and granted between two interstates, is making it more difficult for College/University Students who in many cases, the extra 30 cents a gallon could impact an already tight budget. I remember back in antiquity when I was a College Student when every penny counted.
