Would never spend a penny here after the rude and strange interaction we had today with a worker. My friends and I walked in excited to purchase a jellycat. As we were looking, one of my friends asked if there were any discounts with this purchase, a very common and normal thing to ask, especially around this time of year. Instead of just responding with a simple no, the worker continued to belittle my friend for asking this question and got very mad. She said it was "entitled" to asked a question like that and continued to speak in a very condescending manner. We ended up just leaving the store feel because of how uncomfortable we felt. Would never even consider purchasing from here after the customer service we received today. read more

Their service is great! The lady at the counter is very personable and nice. They offer free gift wrapping which added great value to choosing to buy from there rather than somewhere else. Wow. I know very little about children but needed gifts for my friends' 2-1/2 year old twins who I was meeting for the first time. I don't remember her name unfortunately, but the female owner of the shop was sooo helpful and picked out the perfect gifts! The girls absolutely loved them, as I was apparently completely out of the loop on how popular Pout Pout Fish is. Thank you so much for helping this very clueless customer! if you haven't visited this darling store you need too. The baby clothes were beyond adorable. My granddaughter and I visited for the slime factory which was close to heaven for her....so many fantastic things to add to many beautifully colored containers of slime. (Plenty of boy themed add ins as well.) She also shopped the fun toys and books. We will be back very soon. read more

So, I have to start off by saying I am not the type of person that ever gives yelp reviews. I think I've maybe giving three or four in my entire life. However, the shopping experience at with Ben and Wendy at Rabbit Ladders was so wonderful. I I knew I had to take the time to commend their superb service and beautiful store. I was in search of a robot kit for my daughter and son. They were so helpful knowledgeable gift wrapped and even offered to bring it to me next-door where I was having dinner. I made a special trip to The Point to visit Rabbit Ladders. It is a beautiful store. I am starting a Maileg collection for my granddaughter. I was the only customer in the store. Unfortunately, the 2 employees behind the register were too busy eating lunch and shopping online together to be much help. A perfect example of why I shop online. I will not return. read more

I had the same disturbing experience as yelper Moby below. My sweet 5 year old daughter wanted to look at the dollhouse play furniture that was displayed on an open shelf when the woman (owner?) scolded her and then me not to touch. She said with "Covid I don't want you to leave germs on the product" and then insinuated we would break it. And she wouldn't stop. She was so rude and scary that my sister had to take my daughter outside while she finished yelling at me. When I left she was still ranting about something at me. It's a shame too because there are some adorable items in this store. But I won't subject my daughter (or myself) to this kind of treatment. read more

Cute cloths and toys inside, came with my 3 young children. The woman at the register told them not to touch an inflatable toy they have on display. She was worried it would fall. She asked my son nicely once, and then with attitude told my 2 year old daughter not to touch. And just gave me a how dare you failure as a parent look. What kind of children's store carries children's toys, but won't let children play with or even touch them? I have spent a lot of money in this store In the past. I was ready to buy some really cute things for my children today, but the attitude we were given (for having kids in a kids store) made it easy to walk out without purchasing a thing. Wendy is always such a delight and so helpful, I just tell her the age of the kid and the budget I am looking for, and she always has the best recommendations. She knows the entire store inside and out. Every gift I have purchased here has been a huge hit. Super cute kids store located at The Point in El Segundo! They sell all kinds of kids items -- clothes, toys, books, gifts, nursery decor, etc. Everything is SUPER cute and high quality but also pretty pricey. But definitely a great place to get a gift if you need one for a baby shower or a kid's birthday. Service was great the handful of times I've been in here. Today I had the opportunity to go to Rabbit Ladders in El Segundo inside of the Point. I was initially drawn there because I am writing my first children's book and a person in one of my Facebook groups shared that her books were on the shelf in the store. Knowing the area, I thought that the store was a seller of small children's clothing I didn't realize that they sell so much more. When I walked into this charming store I was greeted by books, puzzles, clothing, toys and a variety of small gifts. A very sweet lady came up and asked if I had ever been in the store before to which I responded "no" when she said with a chuckle well what has taken you so long? We engaged in quick conversation, I complimented her on her store and that I was impressed with all of the things she had inside especially the diversity In topic and in the book characters. As would turn out, the person I was speaking with is Wendy Goodman one of the store's owners. This is a must see store in El Segundo. I will definitely be back with my niece and nephew. read more

I spent $200 on a gift and the salesperson (owner?) offered to wrap it. She took all my purchases to the stockroom and put them in a brown shipping box with tissue paper. I took a business card and she says- you don't need that- I put a gift receipt in the box. So she took the business card back. It was pouring rain so I asked for a bag to put the box in. When I got home- I was curious and I opened the box and there was no gift receipt and one of the dresses was missing the little bloomers that go with it. I was so disappointed but I needed to send it to make my nieces birthday. They have cute things but I won't go back. read more

I wanted to put together a Summer gift for all of our kiddos, and I saw these bubbles at Rabbit Ladders. I love Bubble Tree's packaging, and they were the perfect complimentary gift to our key chains. Bubble Tree Bubbles are unique and special, because the bottles are aluminum and refillable. I love the colorful packaging, and the wand attached to the cap! The refill box is also ingenious. I bought this system directly from their site (free shipping on all orders), but they sell other systems on Amazon. I liked the 1 Liter System because I can store a bottle for K, and one for a visiting friend, all in the same box. The individual bottles can be bought from Rabbit Ladders, and make great gifts. I love gifting products that maybe my recipients have never heard of. That's how small businesses operate... word of mouth. *I emailed Rabbit Ladders about the stock status of their products, and they responded immediately. Such a cute kids clothing store. The buyer has a great eye for clothing. There's something for babies to young kids and really cute moulin roty toys, which you don't see too much of. I wanted to buy so much but the price point was more than what I'm willing to spend. Maybe if I was on my first child I would splurge but seeing as how I am now on my third, I've got hand me downs up the wazoo. My wife and I stopped in to pick up things for our son and his cousins, as we were celebrating the holidays together in a newly purchased family retreat out of town. We found a few nice things, including a magic washable marker and placemat set. Perfect for art hour! I even mentioned that we could use our washable paints on the mat since the kids love painting, and the store owner specifically said we could only use the special washable markers on the mat. Fast forward to Christmas Eve, and I put the kids down with the washable mats and washable markers at the new wood dining room table, where they both proceeded to draw on the table. We saw this coming, but washable markers to the rescue.. except, on the back of the packaging hidden from view until opened and taken apart, there is a small label showing that the markers will stain. Specifically NOT magic, or washable, or easy to clean. Snake oil sold here. read more

I also did all of my Christmas shopping here and the presentation of wrapping was absolutely beyond beautiful to the point I would never go elsewhere. Also, saved me so much time wrapping. We popped into this kids store today after lunch and fell in love with it! Adorable and nice clothes (pricey but there was a sale) and tons of books and kids games and toys. An adorable reading area for kids and plenty of toys out to entertain them while you shop. What stood out is the diversity in the books - not just one or two, but a meaningful selection. This community has needed a darling little kids store like this one. The kids play area is genius, I was able to look around and my son was entertained for an extended period of time. The only drawback, they could use a little more variety of boys clothes. Mini Shatsu or another fun brand would be a great addition to this store. The girls clothing is adorable and their toys are awesome, good quality wood and pretend play stuff. They do crafts on Saturday, so we will be back for that; and the young lady working in the store was so sweet. Love this shop. read more

I stopped in to return a gift we had received for my son's second birthday. I had never been in before. Right away, I was welcomed by the owner and the return was made promptly. My 2 year old was with me, and immediately wanted to touch and play with all of the amazing toys and puzzles. At first I was hesitant to let him play, but the owner quickly assured me that it was definitely ok and that it was meant to be kid friendly! His words, "we are a kids store for kids!"
