When our puppy had a completely normal biological response inside the exam room, they actually slapped a sanitation charge onto our bill even though we cleaned up the accident entirely ourselves. The entire floor design of this retail store actively invites animals inside to walk throughout the building, making accidents a mathematical and biological certainty. They do not charge the everyday retail pet parents walking the store aisles for an accident, but the second you cross into their corporate veterinary clinic, it becomes another excuse to drain your wallet. To make matters worse, they even charged us a junk fee to dispose of the very medical tools they used to charge us their standard exam fee.What is happening here goes far beyond corporate greed--this is corporate-level medical malpractice and a total abandonment of the most basic medical ethics. It is a terrifying reality how dangerous they are. Don't expect to ever see the same doctor twice; in our first three visits, we saw three separate doctors. Vetco Total Care relies on a high turnover rate of veterinarians, as professionals with actual standards are unlikely to risk their licenses or compromise patient care to meet corporate billing quotas. She had a skin condition that Ivermectin could supposedly help *got that info from TikTok*. I called in advance to find out if they had the product, and if they did, could they put it on hold? They were nice enough to put it on hold, lucky for me because it was the last one. Once I picked it up and got home, I realized that half of it had spilled out. There was no seal on the bottle and as you can see in my pictures, the box had absorbed whatever spilled out. I called the store immediately and told them what happened and also stated that the sales person didn't mention that I needed to keep it upright, although I do believe it was supposed to have a seal so maybe this was used? I asked for a full refund and again lucky for me, they agreed. My experience was a 7 out of 10 simply because I had to drive all the way back to their location to return it (nobody nearby sold that particular product and I didn't have time to wait for it on Amazon). Points also deducted because I wasn't told to keep the product upright, and for the fact that it wasn't sealed. Basically all the points that I'm giving them are for accepting the return and giving me a full refund. Would I go back? Possibly. However, should there be a "next time" I may need any sort of liquid medication, I'll open it in the store first to make sure the product is sealed.
