They do not charge the everyday retail pet parents walking the store aisles for an accident, but the second you cross into their corporate veterinary clinic, it becomes another excuse to drain your wallet. To make matters worse, they even charged us a junk fee to dispose of the very medical tools they used to charge us their standard exam fee.What is happening here goes far beyond corporate greed--this is corporate-level medical malpractice and a total abandonment of the most basic medical ethics. Don't expect to ever see the same doctor twice; in our first three visits, we saw three separate doctors. Vetco Total Care relies on a high turnover rate of veterinarians, as professionals with actual standards are unlikely to risk their licenses or compromise patient care to meet corporate billing quotas. They use calculated fear and intimidation tactics, intentionally engineering a stressful environment to turn you into a worried pet parent so you will blindly hand over your credit card out of pure panic for your animal's safety.
