My cat always received care and wonderful grooming and he wasn't a cat who liked being picked up.

Had a really good groomer who left about 2 months ago. Now, with what's left, I would not recommend this groomer. I tried them, but bad experience. read more

Staff was very friendly and listened to all my concerns and wants for grooming. This was my 5 month old Schnoodle puppy's first grooming and she looks amazing! Very pleased. read more

I've been taking my dog and cats to All Cats and Dogs for many years, and I can't say enough good things about them. My dog practically dances with excitement when we pull up--she loves going in for his grooming! They always do an excellent job, and I trust them completely. My Persian cats are regulars too, and they always come home looking gorgeous, happy, and calm. I call them the "dog and cat whisperers" because they have a special gift for making every animal feel comfortable and even enjoy the grooming experience. Truly the best! read more

They did an amazing job on my dog Twinkle. She had so many mats and I was embarrassed to bring her, but the women there didn't look down their noses at me, they were very kind. I plan to keep coming back! read more

Used to be great, now horrible. Things have changed here. I have taken both my dogs and cats here. Last year, took my old cat to remove fur lumps by shave. Went great, took 5 minutes, cost $20. I told all my friends. This year, took old cat back for same light shave fur ball removal. Only did about 20%. Stated I could come back to get rest done. Charged me $85 this time for less than 5 minutes work. About 2 weeks later, called to bring the cat back for them to finish, and she (straight brown hair middle aged who now seems to be running the place-into the ground) told me I waited too long and they are going to charge another $85! I told her this was wrong what she was doing and she said, "I guess you are not a good fit for us." Terrible! Also, last time I brought my dog in, her undercoat was not brushed, her cut was very choppy, and she had not gone pee. As soon as we got outside, she ran and peed for a long while and peed more than I have ever witnessed. Terrible! Goodbye! You suck. read more

I have taken my rescued fur babies to these groomers for several years, and I absolutely love them. They do an excellent job, and my fur babies always come out looking fabulously. The three fur babies are seniors and special needs, e.g. blind, deaf/blind and physically/emotionally challenged due to a previous rough existence. I highly recommend these wonderful ladies, including the owner, who are gems. Thank you for your dedication, expertise and kindness. read more

I've been shopping for a new groomer and have tried quite a few in Chico. I've found my groomer! The ladies at All Cats and Dogs were very personable, professional, and did a fabulous job on my little shitzu, Cali. Their store is adorable, clean, and smells great! Not to mention pricing is very. Reasonable. I strongly recommend them. read more

The staff here are pretty close to magic: my moody, intermittently aggressive tomcat is angelic when they handle him, while my brand new super cuddly kitten thinks going here is like a playdate. They have an ever-changing array of newly groomed dogs underfoot in the front area where they work; they keep them and their own dogs around for companionship while they are working and, miraculously, all the animals get along. Each of the animals look movie-star perfect when they're done, the haircuts are adorable. When I first moved to Chico my older black cat was dealing with a skin condition that made her lose her fur in chunks (now finally, after five years, healed.) They treated this beat up looking sweetheart with all the care and regard of the beautiful healthy animals and it meant a great deal to our family to see her being cherished. But what I want to share most is that during the Camp Fire, All Cats and Dogs have taken in pets of fire evacuees and groomed them for free. Owner Alex says "In many cases, the fire evacuees left with only their pets and lost everything. I figure that giving them back a clean fluffy dog to hold is the least I can do." read more

All Cats and Dogs - Kitten, after grooming at All Cats and Dogs - Pet Groomers Near Me - Chico, California

Love this place! We have brought our Persian cat three times now, and Alex always does an amazing job. We had taken our cat to a couple of other places in town that didn't do as well, and also charged a lot more. This place is so reasonable and takes their time to make sure everything looks good! This is definitely the only place we will trust with our cat now! read more

I just had my golden retriever and beagle bathed here and I am beyond impressed. They are so clean and when they say they de-shed them they are not kidding. I am petting my golden and he is not shedding at all which is unheard of. I am so happy with the results. The staff were all very friendly and professional. They also had my dogs in a large open area with the humans, not in cages. Also the prices were extremely reasonable especially with what a quality job they do. I will be bringing my pups back regularly. read more

I brought my Maine coon cat here for a sanitary shave, he was very nervous but they made him feel secure and they finished his shave in less than 15 minutes. Highly Recommend their services for any cat owners! read more

Alex is amazing! She was able to get my cat in for a lion cut on short notice (less than a week...to me that's unheard of!) and she is so sugary sweet! She groomed my cat in under an hour (also unheard of, but I opted to not get her a bath) and only charged $55! (I usually pay at least $100 elsewhere!) I could not be happier, she's got a lifetime customer here! Thanks Alex! read more

All Cats and Dogs - She will feel so much better without all of her fur in this heat and not having to groom herself! Highly recommend! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Chico, California

Love this place. Dogs always come first. They do an excellent job every time I take Sparky here. I love this place

Great grooming but very high price and not great on customer service. On my way to the business I was held up by police while they were dealing with an auto accident. I was 20 minutes late as a result and when I walked in I felt attacked by one of the groomers for being late. When I picked up my very small 14 lb. dog I was charged a whooping $60.00. If my dog was large I suspect the charge would have increased accordingly. read more

This place is amazing, the people here are absolutely lovely and super affordable! I am shook lol

Alex is amazing at what she does! I took my cat in for a lion cut this am and made me feel so at ease with the whole grooming process. I was nervous as my cat had ever had anything like this done before (he's a scared cat who hides all day) he had tons of mats due to not properly cleaning himself. She was so quick and professional and my guy purred the whole time and looks so dapper now. He's so much more comfortable in this horrible summer heat. (Black long haired cat) I will definitely recommend Alex and her business and will be back for his next grooming adventure. read more

First time coming here. Had an appointment but was still told they were busy and would get to my dog as soon as they could. I picked her up about 3 hours after dropping her off. Meanwhile there were 5 large dogs waiting in the small room. The groomer's assistant was the only one there with all the dogs. She shaved my dog's body and the owner shaved up her face. Unfortunately my dog has several near razor burns marks all over her. Her back leg has about a 5" long irritated spot. The shave is uneven and there were about 3 small nicks on my dog, from her back to her legs. Since then she's been licking the nicks non-stop and is overall irritated by the near razor marks. She also came home with fleas. I wanted to love this place because it got such high reviews but I don't know if I would bring my small dog back here. read more

This place is wonderful! I own some expensive dogs (french bulldog) and don't trust them with just anyone. Plus, I like to know where my money goes and the owner Alex is genuine, kind and honest. Hands down the best in Chico! read more

I'm so thankful I finally found a place for my shiba to get her nails cut! Every other place had trouble even getting a few of her nails cut and suggested she needed sedation to be able to cut her nails. All Cats and Dogs did an amazing job and cut all of her nails! Definitely going to go here for all of her grooming! Thank you! :) read more

I was searching for a new dog groomer since ours moved away. Having had several bad experiences and terrible cuts that looked like I did them, I tried All Dogs and Cats. We are 1 for 1! My Coton de Tulear is professionally groomed. Clean, even, and looks great. The staff was courteous and down to earth. No pompous attitudes that can be found in town. BTW, my dog was happy when I picked him up...not shell shocked and acting like he had been through a trying experience. I definitely recommend based on my first experience here. read more

Allison was fantastic. On the fly I called her and she was able to take in my Labradoodle. She does one dog at a time, so your fur babies don't have to wait around in a cage. I will come back to her again and again!! read more

I will never have to look for a new dog groomer again I love it at, All Cats and Dogs. I have two dog one loves to be groomed the other, we can call be a problem child/dog. I took my dogs to Petsmart to be groomed. They said my lab did wonderful, but my dachshund they couldn't groom. They said he would not cooperate and they spend too much time just trying to get him out of the kennel, they gave up. I found All Cats and Dogs by Yelp. I thought I would give them a try. Of course my lab did great, and my dachshund did great too. Then the groomer goes on to tell me that she figured out why he didn't do good at the other place, it was the dryers. He doesn't like the sounds of the blow dryers. Problem solved, I will never look for another groomer again. She was very knowledgeable, gentle and seemed like a true animal whisperer. Her 15 years of grooming showed us that we didn't have a bad dog, he was just misunderstood. Thank you Yelp,I'm lucky to have found All Cats and Dogs grooming. read more
