Being new to the area I looked on Yelp to help me find somewhere to get my dogs nails trimmed. According to the reviews this place was at the top. Well, they are right! Right as we were arriving my dog caught his nail in the seat of my car and tore it to the quick. He was bleeding and was really freaked out. Denise fixed it and buzzed down his other long nails in less than 10 minutes. She is wonderful and very reasonably priced! I will definitely go back. Update: we went back today, this time with both dogs. Again, awesome and fast service. I hope she doesn't retire anytime soon! Love her! read more

Called in to get my Rotties toenails clipped left a message. No return call called again next day left a message. Got a return. Call from somebody who refused to give me their name insisted their recording said they were not taking new clients even though it doesn't say that she insisted it did rude as all hell told me to take my dog across the street when I said where is across the street she said have a nice day and hung up on me rude as all hell get out never take your dogs here. Denise did a fabulous grooming job on my little doggie Bear, and I only had to leave him for 1 1/2 hours! SO much better than Pet Smart or Petco, where it's always 3 or 4 hours. So much less stress on my pet! I don't know if she's looking for any new customers, but she's the best I've encountered in 9 years of taking my little Bear to groomers! read more

My dogs love Denise! One of my dogs is a biter but he is so good at this place. I have to stay in town and wait for them so the fact that she is quick is a help to me. I usually take two or 3 amd they are ready to go in less than 3 hours. My little Crestie is alays so cute after he is groomed and he know it - bouncing around, wanting attention. I took my rescue dog, Oscar, to Denise yesterday morning, and I have to say I have taken them to five different groomers who would not even try because he growls and bites (past trauma). To get him shaved last summer I had to have him knock him out and I did not want to do that again . Denise told me she liked the challenge, even though he bites, and she let me stay and hold him while we got him groomed. I was so impressed, it took over an hour and a half as we had to give him a break because of his stress and biting--she was so gentle with him at one point he did not even resist, she got all his matted fur off and he looks so handsome. I highly recommend Denise especially if your dog has issues with grooming. read more

My dogs love Denise! I have been taking my Dogs to Denise for over 25 years. She is "Hands Down" the best groomer in the North State. My 16 year old is a grouchy senior, but Denise is very patient with him. She did his first groom as a puppy, 16 years ago and he still loves her. I also have a 2 year old rescue who is very challenging and does not like strangers. However, he trusts Denise and has from the first time he met her.
