I discovered Raaz when I picked up an exquisite garment at resale and looked at the label to find where it was from. I immediately went to the store and was overwhelmed by the beauty of the pieces there. My daughter was getting married and already had her dress but I still needed a mother-of-the-bride dress. I had been looking on Michigan Ave. and found nothing I loved. At Raaz there were so many choices of truly beautiful and unique garments I spent many hours there trying to decide. There was one piece which I sent a photo of to my daughter and she LOVED it and said I must wear that one to her wedding. It was not a good color for me however, so the people at Raaz did a custom piece from my measurements, made in India, in a color that was extremely flattering. They were very helpful in the decision making process. When I wore the dress to the wedding I felt like a princess. Everyone, including my daughter's friends were raving about it and wanted to know where I got it. My daughter has worn it to two fancy events after the wedding and everyone raved again. But what is so interesting here is that we are not Indian and this was not an Indian wedding, the point being that these pieces are simply beautiful and classic in any setting. At a wedding in London, my dress conformed in every way to the protocol of an English wedding there, but went far beyond in terms of quality of silk and hand made detail which you do not get even in the most expensive western designers. In some ways I want to keep Raaz a secret but I also want to share and for them to do well, as they should, so they will always be there for me! read more

Raaz came as a recommendation from a dear friend who is close with Ghazala, the owner. I needed an outfit for my daughter's wedding and I wanted it to be elegant and sophisticated within a $500 budget. Ghazala sat down with me and my daughter and was able to design a beautiful 3 piece outfit for me. My other daughter also needed a dress and Shaheen was able to sketch out another beautiful design. Throughout the entire process, Shaheen was our main point of contact. She would text me with questions and updates and was very responsive whenever I texted her. When the dresses were finally completed, they both were absolutely stunning. We had a few tweaks to make in the final fitting, but those were done quickly. The wedding was beautiful and our dresses were perfect. We received many compliments throughout the evening and I felt beautiful. Thank you Shaheen and Ghazala for everything!! read more

I needed something fancy yet affordable for Mother's Day. Usually I can't find anything readymade on Devon that fits me well, and yet again as I perused Raaz's collection, I felt nothing would work! But the ladies at Raaz not only worked with me, but made a completely new pant that fit really well, and altered the top that transformed it into a sensational, sensible but glamorous look. They even took my suggestion to add a little something extra to the scarf and everything was done joyfully and with a generosity of heart and spirit that was mind boggling. To avoid mistakes, they asked for samples of my clothes that fit well and Im absolutely thrilled with the results. Raaz, you have earned yourself a loyal customer. Thank you for the effort and work you put into getting my outfit to me in time for my event. read more

Never knew a place like Raaz existed!! a chic boutique with an air of freshness in the styles they carry! i am in love with the place. The staff and owner were so helpful and honest in their suggestions, i am in love with the two outfits i bought for Eid and a friend's party. The clothes are aptly priced for the quality and workman ship, not as expensive as they look. Rather the clothes have great value for the price, almost same prices as of some non designer pieces. Great taste and true customer service. I wanted them to send an outfit for my mom in Florida and the really kept to their words and mailed it next day. The jewellry is just beautiful and classy, The fitting of the dresses is great and i have decided to shop only from Raaz!! way to go.. I have signed in especially to write about them!! read more

My daughter and I came from out of town for a custom made wedding dress and they did not disappoint. The dress is simply stunning, beyond our wildest expectations! The entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful, everyone was attentive and professional, and went out of their way to make this a very special experience for mother and daughter. Best boutique on Devon! I was a white girl searching for something to wear to an Indian wedding and was lost! They were very helpful and patient while I searched for a lehenga. The store has designer clothes that are classy and fashionable. The staff was super friendly, worked within my budget and really worked hard to come up with options! In the end, they helped me find the perfect outfit! They also altered everything in a day. Normally it takes at least a week for me to get anything back from a tailor so I was very impressed with the turn around time. I will definitely be back in the future! read more
