The park is huge and has a little bit of everything--open fields, a nice playground, pickleball courts, and peaceful, shaded walking paths. I often play spikeball here with my friends too, and it's a great space for that. The park always feels clean, and there's usually plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient. That said, a few weeks ago during Steel Days, they held a carnival at the park, and it was packed. Parking was really difficult to find with so many people there. But outside of special events like that, it's usually not a problem. Overall, it's a great place to hang out, get some fresh air, and enjoy time with friends and family.

They kept the "castle park" feel (that's what i called it as a kid), but made it more all-abilities friendly. It's well built, cute and fun for all ages. The bathrooms are decent. They have automated flushing toilets and faucets, no mirrors, but functional and open. There are baseball fields across the parking lot as well. Great park.

I "wood-n't" be lying if I said it's lost it's cool and while it has shadows of the past with fun equipment all of it is waaay too hot on a sunny day! My 2 year old tried climbing on the equipment and started to scream when she sat down trying to go down a slide that was waaay too hot! Another young toddler had the same thing happen to her. We arrived at the roughly same time as 3 other family and all of us left within 10 minutes because the equipment was too hot. To some extent I get it's out of anyone's control but there is playground equipment that is less conductive of heat creating a better experience for everyone.

Hey, I know-but I'm a mature landscape snob. No shade to new development, but the bigger trees tug at my heart. Yes, pun intended. Good catch. Rotary Park has some solid, large trees. These suckers provide ample shade and enough beauty to be the backdrop to any family picnic. I'm not sure they'd be good for climbing, sorry kids. The limbs are so high up that you'd need a ladder to get up there. Let's not try that, mmmkay? In addition to trees, there's a nice playground, a large pavilion with tables and a few rec courts for basketball, etc. You can spend an afternoon here easily.

There was really no one there when I got there on a late weekday afternoon. I have a special place in my heart for baseball fields 'cause they remind me of the old days of when I used to play. This park in general is quite big, and I dig the huge trees and living grass (hey, it's worth mentioning!) There's a playground for kiddos and some bathrooms, but not sure if they're open. There is a skatepark + smaller park down the road a bit, too, which is nice if you wanna switch it up.
