Omega goes through it's text for a new belt every 3 months. My son has taken a belt text about every 6 months. They take it at your pace. My sons started in the Kid Kickers class (6 yrs to 8yrs) and has gone to the youth martial arts class. The 4-5 yrs old class is the Little Dragon class. The instructors are wonderful in Kid Kickers! And the classes are so good, I'm thinking about taking them. They cover self-defense, Judo, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Jiu Jitsu, and Okinawa Weaponry. My son has learned to never use a weapon in attack, but use it with self-defense. And he knows how to USE a weapon. My son was shy before but now he isn't shy.
