I recently received a notice from my insurance that they were cancelling my insurance due to mildew and debris on my roof! I contacted the owner, Tim, and told him of this! He came and explained the mildew and had it cleaned! They did an amazing job, sent me photos, and a receipt! He told me to submit all that to my insurance company who never told me what to do! Tim also advised me to ask the insurance company for the inspection report as well as the photos! I did and I found out that 7 months earlier they had a drone fly over my house! The insurance company accepted my photos and receipt for payment to R12 as a remedy to the problem and they rescinded their notice! I got a great quote for Gutter cleaning and Window washing from Tim over the phone. He explained to me the details of the work that would be performed, and set up an appointment for the week after. On the day of the appointment, Shane arrived right on time, and started with gutter cleaning. He climbed on the roof (we have a 2 level home) and cleaned all the gutters. He told me about a gutter that was leaking, and how to fix it once it was dry. After cleaning the gutters, Shane started cleaning the windows and the patio door from inside. He worked quickly and efficiently, but made sure that the quality of work was top notch. He explained to me how he cleans the windows, what tools he uses and even gave me some great tips on cleaning the windows myself! After cleaning the windows from inside, he took all the screens outside, washed them, and then used a special tool to clean and wash the windows from outside. He finished the work by installing the screens and doing a walk through with me for the final inspection. This is where the things take an interesting turn. A few minutes after Shane left, I noticed that a few windows had some water and dirt left in the tracks, which I missed during the inspection.I called him immediately and he offered to come back and fix all issues in a few days. I also emailed Tim about it, and was surprised when I got a call from Tim in a few minutes. Tim offered to come by my home the very next day to take care of all issues and ensure that I was "110% pleased" with their work. He arrived on time the next day, apologized for the inconvenience caused, and immediately went about inspecting all the windows and cleaning wherever needed. I asked him to look at the gutters and after looking at them, he said they are good no need to spend money on them. What honesty. On Friday he came to our home, the job was to perfection. Shane from R12 came out for a gutter cleaning. After doing an inspection, he advised I did not need the full gutter service since only a few pieces of debris were blocking water to the downspouts. He also fixed a loose downspout for me. Overall, I really appreciated the quick response in scheduling an appointment via text with Tim. Had R12 come out for a move out cleaning and window washing. WIN: 1. Window cleaning was outstanding. I would recommend them for this. 2. Most of the house cleaning was done very well. Baseboards cleaned, cobwebs disappeared, carpets vacuumed, etc. They did spend 5 hours cleaning an empty 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, living room, kitchen, family room, 1430 sq ft house. FAIL: 1. Bathroom cabinets & shelves were not cleaned 2. Entry way light was not dusted 3. Blinds were not cleaned as requested (I spent 2 hours cleaning them myself after R12 left). Some blinds were dusted. 4. Oven was wiped out, but not cleaned. Evidently they will not use chemicals to fully clean ovens. They should state that on their website. 5. Steam cleaning vinyl flooring. It was going to take 2 hours to steam clean my kitchen floor. Ka-ching! Thanks, but mopping worked just as well on the brand new floor instead, and much less time consuming. This should be an additional stand alone service that can be added by the customer. read more

Upon searching Yelp for a contractor to clean out our gutters, I found R12 and a few other companies. R12 was very easy to get a hold of and gave me a rough quote over the phone. I was able to simply make an appointment and they came and did a awesome job. They cleaned out the gutters, blew all the pine needles off of the roof as well as cleaned up the loose debris on the front lawn and driveway. Reason it's only 4 stars is that it ended up being on the higher end of the quote.
