Cleaned panels for my business but did NOT filter the water, they hooked up directly to the hose. That means they used hard water on my panels which leaves deposits. If I wanted water than stained my panels I could have hired some kid or bums to do this job. Dont know how this "business" gets clients. I will not recommend them to anyone I know. Very happy with the work these guys did cleaning my gutters. I live on a hill and that some of my gutters are over 2 stories high I don't want to kill myself by doing this work. Phillip was very prompt and professional in getting the initial quote done, and equally so the day his team came out and did the work. They were very thorough--much more so than the last person who cleaned my gutters. They took the same amount of time than the last company (who was only a single person) and they came with a 3-person crew, who was busy the entire time. I gave them 4 stars for now, and will increase this to 5 once we get our first rain and I can confirm that everything is working great. Some of my downspouts were almost completely plugged so the difference should be pretty obivous. read more

Working with Solar-Klean was super-efficient and the team that cleaned our home solar panels & gutters was great. I set up everything through Yelp so no separate estimate appointment was needed because they provided an estimate using online images. The cleaners were really nice and safety conscious. They cleaned and removed the moss from the panes and clean up the materials from the gutter. They also used a blower to clean up the ground around the house. I used Philip's services after finding his awesome reviews on Yelp. They were right! Philip is awesome!!!!! A+++. He had to go above & beyond to finish this job. I first had him wash my panels. He was timely, polite, respectful, and gave fair pricing. He even flew a video drone to prove pre/post cleaning. Great work. It was his videos that showed me that the idiot original solar installers (green power installers-DO NOT USE) mounted 3 of 15 panels on the north sloping section of my roof. historically, these panels were capturing 50% of the others. My energy consumption has been more than production since day 1, so I calculated that placing these 3 panels on south slope (if possible-roof is tight) would boost my power ~11%. Therefore, I asked solarklean to relocate them. I care about the environmental impact of my energy use & so decided it was worth the expense to relocate the panels. Philip moved them ASAP. Then we realized the "power optimizers" failed to reconnect to the main inverter. This rendered the panels non-functional. We contacted SolarEdge.com tech support. They replaced them, no charge. Philip followed up twice to find a time to install them. He visited my house a couple times to do this work. He DID NOT LEAVE ME STRANDED!! Philip stuck to the job even after my solar " optimizers" failed. I can confidently recommend solarklean to clean your panels & do simple optimization's like I mentioned above. Charged exactly what he quoted. Included cleaning out one clogged downspout. Note that blowing off the whole roof would be additional, but that was not really needed in my case. Phillip and his team were fantastic. Scheduled quickly, arrived on-time and did a great job - very professional operation. My solar panels were covered in a sticky film of pollen, and I was clearly seeing a reduction in production on my monitoring system. Now they look like new and numbers are back up to where I want them to be. He also checked my gutters at my request, and did recommend a cleaning - which I was expecting, given how long it had been. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Phil and Solar-Klean! This was the first time I've had my panels cleaned in the 5 years we've had them, but given the fact it doesn't rain in CA any more and seeing our energy production starting to decline, I decided to get them professionally cleaned. Phil was prompt and showed up with a sophisticated looking filtration system (carbon, deionizing, and RO) to ensure there aren't water spots. He was very thorough and left the panels sparkling. I also really like the idea that he was previously a roofer (so he won't be doing damage to the roof as he walks around) as well as a solar installer too. They were on time and reviewed what they were to do. I reviewed the best way to get to my panels which they agreed so the work could begin. My panels had not been professional cleaned in many years so they were pretty dirty and now that they are cleaned I'm hoping for better production of solar power during these next summer months to reduce my electric bill. I probably should have done this cleaning annually, but the Solar Company told me just to use water to clean them which is what I have done. Probably not the best information. They cleaned the solar panels, several sky lights and even the top of our conservancy which is nearly impossible to access. Philip also noted a couple of potential issues I should be mindful of and advised that they also do windows (our house has a lot of windows just 3 blocks off the ocean that readily get salt encrusted). I was disappointed with Solar-Klean. I made an appointment for window cleaning and let Phil know I had a deadline for the cleaning. He agreed, but then called me an hour before the appointment to cancel because he the scope of work for his prior client was "much bigger than he thought." I asked if he could come later in the day and he said absolutely. When the time passed, I called him and he said he wouldn't be able to make it there wasn't anything he could do about it. He didn't have a recommendation for another resource. After a long silence, he did offer me a 5% discount on my next service, which I declined as insufficient for the trouble he'd caused. read more

Phillip responded to my yelp request the same day, and after answering my MANY questions about how he would get compacted redwood needles out from under the panels without damaging them, he came out the following day. It was a difficult job because of how compacted the debris was, and there was barely enough room under the panels for his tools. When he left, all the debris was gone - he takes photos before and after to illustrate - and I saw this myself when I went up to wash my skylights.
