Best service I've received for any kind of work I've needed done around the house. Isaac has come to my house a couple of times now to clean the gutters. The house is on an uneven terrain so it is a tricky job but the end result is great! His communication is perfect - timely responses, gives me an ETA the day of, and always arrives on time. Made an appointment for an estimate for 8-9 am. Guy didn't show up until almost 10 am. I had to call at 9 am, twice, to find out when he was coming. I understand sometimes things happen and people can be late, but not giving advance notice when they easily could have (he knew he was going to be late) is very unprofessional. Apex Window Cleaning did a great job on our windows this past weekend. Not only were they responsive to our request for a proposal, they were easy to work with, easy to schedule, and arrived on time as expected. Their bid was competitive with several other bids that i got so I felt that it was reasonable as well. When it turned out to be somewhat of a more complex job than expected, they still completed it for the proposed bid, which is really above and beyond, because there are a lot of places who would have charged extra for what really could be seen as their own underestimation of the amount of work. But we really do have a lot of windows in complex and hard to reach locations that might not be all that obvious at first glance! Isaac especially worked really hard to make sure we were satisfied customers and i know we will call them to schedule our next service again as well as recommend them to our neighbors. Jezer is THE MAN for window cleaning. He arrived a little late, but he had had an emergency in the South Bay, so it was not a problem for me. Once he got here he was meticulous - a real perfectionist - and took as long as necessary to clean our windows both inside and out, and power wash the front of our four unit building. The results are amazing. I have so much light pouring in now that it's incredible (and my plants are loving it). He was a great guy, very concientious, courteous, and professional. My advice is to proceed with caution with Apex. If you are going to use them, make sure exactly what you are being quoted on and everything is in writing. My mistake is that I had a conversation with Isaac over the quote and what they are going to do, after some negotiation from the original quote. The job is to clean our two-story commercial building roof, gutter, and solar panel including the solar panel canopy in the parking lot. Issac called mid-way through the job and said my solar panels are too dirty and they need to be power washed, which will cost extra (mind you as a buyer of their service, I have no idea how they are going to clean the solar panel). After a conversation, they agreed to do the power wash without charging extra. Then they declined to clean the solar canopy which we agreed on (because the panels they did clean already took too long). I end up paying them based on their claim what we agreed on just to be amicable and be able to move on. I do regret having made the decision to use them very quickly without asking additional questions and have everything in writing. Not suggesting they are bad at what they do, just be careful and proceed with caution to have them come in person before providing the bid and ask enough questions about their process, make sure everything is in writing. It's a small shop and I did talk to Jezer the owner. I don't feel there is much accountability over what was discussed with Isaac, the employee. The feeling I walked away with is that profit is more important than a customer relationship. Update on 10/18: It looks like my nightmare with Apex continues. Today I discovered that they broke the water spigot that they used to wash the gutter and solar panels, and the water has been leaking ever since they left. Isaac did come out to try to stop the leak with no success. We then contacted a plumber to come out to do the replacement. Isaac suggested that they would only be willing to pay for the replacement if I changed my yelp review to 5 stars which I declined. read more

We decided to have our windows cleaned at the last minute and glad we went with Apex. We selected them because we got a prompt quote which detailed what they would do, whereas some companies asked what we wanted done (eg, screens, track, etc.) and that's not what we would consider a window washing service. First, my windows look great, and Jezer was professional in polite in the face of a few hiccoughs that occurred. We had a miscommunication about the job price, which turned out to be significantly more than I expected. In retrospect, I think it was a fair price, but it was a stretch for my fixed income. Also, the spraying technique used on the outside of my upper floor windows caused a lot of leaking on the inside. Since I had only asked them to do the outside, this meant I had to spend a lot of time drying the frames and sills to avoid water damage. It was most likely the fault of my custom wooden windows, and not their technique. Jezer took the time to explain things to me and clearly cares about doing a good job. read more

We got many quotes for window cleaning, but this company was the most responsive and complete. When they came out they were fantastic. They cleaned the inside and outside windows and were perfect. They wore booties in the house and were also able at the time they arrived to clean my solar panels. There were no unexpected add-ons and they couldn't have been more professional. In addition, they found a clogged gutter and very quickly were able to handle that problem. They took photos of everything on the roof, including the solar panels prior to work and afterwards.
