Everything upfront was seamless. From booking an appointment, getting reminders via email and texts. The technician assigned to our project was great. He did his best for 1 hour of cleaning for 6 dining chairs. After the cleaning and drying, the chairs had new stains that wasn't there from before the cleaning. The next day, I emailed "contact@duckssolutions.com", and included the before and after pictures of the dining chairs. There was no answer for 6 days. I was able to reach someone from the messaging app of "Thumbtack", I was instructed to email another email address to have them review. After the review, there were no apologies or real solutions for the completed project. Instead, an offer for a discount off the minimum fee of $30 off, for Ducks solutions to come again to clean. They also stated that there isn't a guarantee if the new stains can come off. No Thanks! Please do better. read more

I would give this company six stars out of five, if they were available. Let me begin with my journey to this amazing company. 1. I had to make several calls to various companies to just get a quote. Seven to be précised. Only two responded. DSLLC was different from the get-go. How so? Well, a very friendly, well-spoken and very knowledgeable customer representative picked up my call immediately. 2. Since I am new to this service, I have asked many questions. The customer representative walked me through the process in detail - from beginning to end - This was great for a newbie like me. He also explained about the products that were going to be used, (non-toxic, environmentally friendly, safe for pets and children). This was critical as I have some allergies to harsh products. Who doesn't these days? 3. They scheduled my appointment based on my availability, not theirs. This is a plus! Many service companies have a waiting list as the idea is to get many customers as possible, whereas DSLLC is to provide an excellent customer experience and then get referrals based on how happy a customer is. 4. They sent me a picture of the representative who would show up to do the work, along with his information. A plus for me, since there are so many scammers these days. 5. William and Jesus showed up just in time. They were very friendly, very professional and did the work above and beyond my expectations. My sofa bed has dirt and some stains accumulated during the last couple of years, and as you can see in the pictures, the difference was crystal clear! My sofa looks just when I purchased it, and smells quite clean. In short, it is spotless! William and Jesus made sure to clean up and dry any water spills. They also protected my rug during the upholstery clean up. 6. Ruan, the owner, showed up to make sure that I was a happy customer. This was super nice because it made me and my husband field that he really cares for his customers. He made us feel like family, and not just customers who others do "just business". To our surprise, DSLLC provides, besides upholstery cleaning, other cleaning services that I will try in the future such as carpets, rugs, mattresses, windows, roof, gutter, tile, hardwood floors, solar panels and pressure washing. Wow! 7. I had mentioned that only two companies responded to my request. DSLLC and another. The first company was overpriced. DSLLC gave me a fair price for a superior service and an amazing customer service experience. Because of this, I asked Ruan, the owner, to hand me extra business cards to share among my friends and family. So, they too, get the "family experience" I received. I used Yelp to find a good company to provide power washing for my investment property. Out of the 5 companies, I chose Ducks Solutions based on their reviews and they offered the best price. They did a great job setting up the appointment and even contacted me the day before to remind me and also alerted me the day of the job when the service techs were on their way. Jairo arrived in the selected time and he and his partner got right to work. They were very efficient and cleaned the entire building in less than 2 hours. I was not present when they completed the job but they did send me pictures and I visited the next day to observe their work. The building was noticeably cleaner. He was professional, kind, and courteous and provided excellent service and advice on after care/drying and furniture placement to avoid further stains. We had two carpeted bedrooms a large area rug and entryway runner cleaned and the outcome of the cleaning was excellent -all look brand new after three years of no cleaning. Willians was also able to remove stains on our area rugs caused by water spills and that were made worse by our self cleaning that only left larger yellow stains when we tried cleaning with a portable carpet upholstery and machine. We hired them for a carpet deep cleaning for a room. I identified the tea stain that he didn't clean. He started saying the stain has been there for really long, this and that,which is not true. He kept saying I'm just gonna do the same thing I did, he's not sure if he can clean it off. He tried again, it was better. After carpet drying, the stain is still there. However, the carpet wasn't dried properly and stayed wet. Also, I expected them to vacuum first, but some trash and paper bits were left behind. BEWARE: Ducks Solutions Damaged Our Roof - over $1,100 in repairs We hired Ducks Solutions to clean the gutters on our two-story home. Unfortunately, this led to significant property damage and frustration. Issues with Service: * The crew arrived over 2 hours late. * During their pre-work inspection, they found a crack on 1 roof tile. * While we can't climb up to the top roof, we can see the small patio roof outside a second-floor window. We watched the crew crack a tile -- and they didn't notice it--we had to point it out to them. * A week later, three independent roofers found 48 cracked and broken tiles (see pictures). * Final repair cost: Over $1,100 (with other quotes ranging from $2,500 to $3,500). We found out the hard way that the Ducks Solutions crew is simply not qualified to walk on tile roofs. Most Disappointing: After sending Ducks Solutions documented evidence (letter, photos, and invoice), they ignored us. Once they caused damage, they disappeared. We understand accidents can happen. But, for a company boldly marketing itself as "your best choice in the Bay Area," this complete abdication of responsibility is not just disappointing--it's inexcusable. We feel compelled to share our experience to protect others from suffering similar property damage and encountering this shockingly dismissive customer service. A truly professional organization would have immediately acknowledged their error and made appropriate restitution. Had an area rug cleaned. Had them return when the rug was not laying down. They lifted the rug to stretch it and the wood floor was soaking gave them some towels to dry the floor. I was told that the rug would relax and soon be flat on the floor two weeks later still buckled and a tripping hazard. I will need to buy a new rug. Only ask that they refund the cost of the cleaning. the rug is ruined I am not satisfied even though their website states that satisfaction is their priority. Where do I begin? We purchased a couch off of Facebook marketplace last minute and was looking to get a cleaning quickly. I submitted a quote and I received a call within 10 minutes on a Monday at 8:00pm. I thought, "oh wow, they're so attentive!" I explained the situation and they quoted me $199 for a five piece sectional and could come out the next day at 5pm. I left work early to be home for their arrival. At 5:30pm, nobody had showed up yet so I called the company. The woman on the phone could not understand what I was saying due to a language barrier. I kept asking when they would arrive because they were scheduled at 5:00pm. She just kept saying they would be there at 6:00pm to which I kept responding, what time were they supposed to get here. She eventually said they were scheduled at 5:00pm but they would be there at 6:00pm and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said no because I needed the cleaning and asked if we could get a discount for being so late and for not even notifying. She said she would check and text me. I received a text from her saying again that they would be there at 6:00pm, a second guy would be sent and that I would receive a $50 discount for the inconvenience. They showed up at 6:30pm. The ONLY good thing about this company was the customer service from Plinio. He was friendly and pleasant to have in my home. But the cleaning??? Horrible. The couch was soaking wet and none of the stains were removed. There were actually MORE stains that when they started(due to the deep extraction process) I was left with soap all over my walls, a soaking wet floor, rug and couch and a horrible mildew smell on my couches. It took over 2 days for them to dry and they still weren't even clean! And to top it all off...I received my invoice at the end charging me for $249 with a discount bringing my total to...$199.
