We had Scott come to our house for an estimate regarding a few small projects (hanging a door, minor gutter repair, etc.) and he said he'd get back to us within a few days with a price and date to do the work. Ten days passed with nothing. So I emailed, and two weeks later, still no response. I understand that schedules change and can be tough to manage - and there may be some jobs that a contractor is unequipped or uninterested in doing. But to promise someone service, leave them hanging for weeks without even giving the courtesy of a "sorry, I can't do it" message" is dishonest, unacceptable and unprofessional. I'd give Zero stars if the app would permit it.

Alex came over and looked at the old AC unit and furnace. His professional guidance including a recommended solution was both honest and accurate. I accepted his solution and scheduled the install. The entire time I was kept in the loop by text and phone calls. The day of the job they showed up exactly on time 8am. The team was fronted by Amando and with him was Pete and Tyler. This was clearly not their first rodeo. Amazing, the three men quickly removed the old units both inside and out and installed the new units. He had the best price and moved his scheduled around to accommodate my current needs (house selling, inspections, etc) He was there early and had finished by the time he was actually supposed to be there. It was a simple outlet issue and instead of charging for the outlet, he showed me that the outlet was good just needed to be rewired. He really could have ran the price up but chose to be genuine and when you have someone like that (much like a good barber or mechanic) you don't go elsewhere and you go out of your way to tell people about them. I will certainly be contacting him on the future. Levan is based out of Newtown and really "could" charge Newtown prices but is an honest and trustworthy guy. Highly recommend. -J

They were prompt in scheduling an appt. and actually called the day before because the technician was "right around the corner" so he came a day earlier. Apparently the emergency "off" switch was accidentally turned off when my husband changed the filter. He noticed it immediately but charged me $150 for the visit. I understand a minimum trip charge but he was literally less than 1/2 mile away so he wasn't going out of his way to come to my house. When I called Old York to explain that I thought the charge was excessive considering all he had to do was flip a switch, I was told someone would call me back in a couple of days. Of course no one did and when I followed up a week later I was told that the technician also checked the electrical connections and the pressure and that is how they justified that charge. He was here no more than 10 minutes but spent 1/2 hr sitting in my driveway afterwards. I guess that is how they justify the time spent on the job even if they aren't doing anything. You would think they might offer a partial credit towards a future service just to keep a customer. I will not be using their services in the future nor will I recommend them.

The screws on 2 of 3 pairs of shutters that I purchased also fell off and needed to be replace within a short period of time. The company is not honoring the guarantee of their work. The remaining 2 screws has taken their turn into falling out now. I have made quite a few calls to this office over a period of a month requesting for service. This office have been ignoring my request. I want to highly stress that the 2 remaining screws are the only items that's holding up my shutter now and the shutters are in high risk of falling. I would not recommend this product nor the installation.
