After a rainy day filled with great brewery visits, we looked for somewhere to eat and an Indian…read morefood truck popped up with great reviews nearby. Our visit ended up being one of the most memorable stops of the whole trip. This neighborhood grocery story store leans into South Asian food, but with all the usual American staples. The food truck is outside, and all done by one chef. That's to say, the food is made fresh and patience is needed. Thankfully, inside that had a great selection of local and international beer so I bought a 6-pack for us to enjoy while we waited. There were also colorful characters enjoying food and drinks outside who talked with us at length. It was really pleasant to be able to wait comfortably. If you're nearby and looking for light groceries or amazing Indian food, it's worth your time to visit!

The staff is so nice and the food was incredible. I got the butter chicken and naan. It was a huge portion, made fresh, and had such good flavor. The chicken was tender, the rice was fluffy, and there was a nice crunchy cucumber, carrot and onion salad that was fresh and tasty. I got it on the mild side of medium, but next time I'll get it a bit spicier. Check out the market while you wait for your food too! A great find in the neighborhood, and I'll be back for sure!

This company has supported me and the Cascade Mycological Society (CMS) for years. Twice, when I…read morewas giving a presentation about wild mushrooms (once for my place of business, and once for a group of grade-school students) I asked Mycological for some sample mushrooms for me to show to my audience. Both times they were generous in donating a large selection of edible mushrooms for my presentations. I highly recommend this company as a source of wild edible mushrooms.

ATTENTION MUSHROOM PICKERS. think twice before selling your mushrooms here. today is 9-7-2018. The…read morelate summer and fall season is upon us. buying practices are important to pickers and this company has practices that are intentionally ripping off the pickers. I've sold to numerous buyers in Oregon and California over the past ten years and mushrooms are graded by the buyers and pay is determined by the quality of the mushroom. the majority of mushrooms have basically two grades good or bad. good is top price and bad is bought at a fraction of the price and usually are referred to as dryers. also referred to as wormy which means they have worms within the mushroom body. matsitakes and boletes have several grades of condition and chanterelles in the middle and late season sometimes have 3 grades including good, field run and dryers. lobsters and most other mushrooms have two grades. good and bad or dryers. this company seems to believe that its appropriate to change the rules and cut your profits. todays price for chanterelles' is 9.00 and lobsters are 5.00 a pound. this is a great price for this time of year. never have I seen in over ten years a buyer paying for different grades except good and bad or good or dryers this time of year or ever. this company basically took my seven pounds of chanterelles paid me nine a pound for 3.5 pounds and paid me 3.00 dollars for grade 2 which I have no idea what that is. what I assume is the price for flowers or bigger mushrooms. this isn't normal and it took over 20 dollars from my pocket. I had 11 pounds of lobsters. they divided the pondage in half and 5.5 ponds I received 5.00 a pound. for the other 5.5 they paid me 2.00 dollars a pound and claimed that they removed the worms which will still net them the same profit when sold to consumers. now lobsters are often wormy and a buyer will slice small chunks of its body to determine if it has worms. the buyer I buying tonight sliced from 10 to 30 slices from my mushrooms as if he was just looking for a worm and they claim they are removing worms. this is a scam and pickers should think twice before buying from this company. I lost another 20 dollars from this scam and its basically theft. I confronted the owner and buyer and my claims that this practice was wrong and nothing I've ever seen before was not supported by any reason or circumstance and was told I don't have to sell there if I don't want to. I wont and anyone who picks mushrooms should sell elsewhere. ATTENTION CONSUMERS AND RESTRAUNTS, ETC. you should really think twice if your buying from this company. how much do you spend for a pound of fresh market chanterelle. your spending too much for a product that would not be available if it wasn't for the pickers. fair practices should be across the board and pickers are always getting the low end treatment when its compared to profits. I get it and businesses need to make money. But the practices of this company are ripping the picker off and possibly you as well. Owen Rice you should be ashamed of yourself and know that your practices are not the norm, not fair and you should apologize and change your ridiculous buying practices because you know what your doing and your greed is disgusting. Ryland Sweet is my name.

The Food for Lane county Grilled Cheese Experience brought me to Blended to try their offering,…read morealthough I was interested based on some photos I'd seen of their sandwiches online. I got the grilled cheese sandwich offering, but also decided to try their Dubai brownie and a pistachio hot chocolate. First, my only issue, it was a little confusing to order. There was a kiosk where you order yourself in one window, then in the next window there was a spot you could order with someone. I don't know if you could order the same things at both sections, I'd assume so. But this is a very minima thing. As soon as I was ordering an employee greeted me and if I hadn't figured it out I'm sure I could've asked. Now the good stuff- the sandwich was amazing. I believe it's just offered for this month, but I'd happily try their other offerings. The flavors were balanced, it was a good portion, it was hit, fresh ingredients. The Dubai brownie and hot chocolate were also excellent. Rich, chocolate Lu, everything you want. They make the pistachio sauce for the hot chocolate in house from what I was told, and i could taste it. Adding a couple nice espresso shots would make an amazing mocha too. They have a pretty extensive list of Dubai items, so if you haven't tried it or you love it they have a great selection from cookies and cheesecakes to strawberry cups and the hot chocolate. It's set in the 5th street public market, a couple chairs and tables around. When it's busy it might be hard to find a seat, but it's a neat location and easy to take to go. Definitely worth checking out!

Ordered the sandwich, and a drink (energy drink, of a brand I have never tried) My Reuben arrived quickly, and I was also given a pickle and some napkins (if you order this, ask for extra napkins... you will need them!) :) Sandwich was huge, loaded with corned beef and pastrami. The rye bread was on point too! Delicious... I will be ordering this again! Energy drink was interesting... good flavor, although I could not say what flavor it was, lol! Pickle was good too! After finishing the sandwich, I had to get a couple of Macarons too. I have never had them before, and wanted to see what all the hype was about. I think I have a new favorite cookie, lol... I will be craving these, very good! Highly recommended!
