Our visit ended up being one of the most memorable stops of the whole trip. This neighborhood grocery story store leans into South Asian food, but with all the usual American staples. The food truck is outside, and all done by one chef. That's to say, the food is made fresh and patience is needed. Thankfully, inside that had a great selection of local and international beer so I bought a 6-pack for us to enjoy while we waited. There were also colorful characters enjoying food and drinks outside who talked with us at length. It was really pleasant to be able to wait comfortably. If you're nearby and looking for light groceries or amazing Indian food, it's worth your time to visit!

Everything was so delicious and I will definitely be choosing Sundance over my usual Market of Choice default. I loved the variety and especially appreciated the clear labeling and all vegan options. This will now be my go to when I need a quick meal when in Eugene. The pricing is on par with MoC. The pasta came and as I already saw from the Yelp pictures they give you a good amount of pasta, which isn't always the case at Italian restaurants these days. 3 of us ordered the smoked salmon alfredo and one of us ordered the vodka rigatoni. The salmon is wild caught, if I remember right and it tasted as it was smoked in house - very good. I'm not typically a fan of alfredo but I'm a big fan of smoked salmon and I'm not sure what they do differently with their alfredo but I really enjoyed the sauce as well as the salmon. My son who ordered the vodka sauce rigatoni left the cleanest plate of all of us so I guess he liked his as well. Our waitress was very helpful all the way through and helped make it a great experience. As a part Italian, I definitely give this spot two thumbs up, and my family did as well. But they've got some fancy new digs with this permanent structure. It's not much more than walls and a roof, but that's useful for this type of market since the stalls might vary in size depending upon the vendor. There are vendors both in and outside the structure, selling baked goods (bagels, cookies, hot dogs, etc.), meats, flowers, fruits and veggies, you name it. And it's nice to be out of the rain for at least part of the time, which is oh so common in Eugene. They have a bathroom (an all-user bathroom, great!) but I'm not sure if it's just far too small or what. We didn't need it, thankfully, because there was a line out the door of the bathroom. This seems to be the biggest flaw with the building--not sure they really planned well in this case.
